Lots and lots of merchandise on carts but the shelves are bare!! Ridiculous amount of time trying to get thru the aisles for all the big carts with merchandise on them in the way meanwhile 3 or 4 employees gathered near the registers! Can't make this stuff up, its best to just go to another one!

The store is clean and the staff are very polite and respectful and seem to do their job. But the stores could use more organization and bigger announcements for the stuff that ends up selling for a penny sometimes. Alot of lower class people shop here because that's the closest store around at times and because hoping to save them some money so knowing about the items that are on sell out pennies could help them and their families.

Beware of purchasing gift cards at this location. MLK blvd in Bristol, TN . I attempted to purchase a $25 gift card for Draft kings she scanned it and i paid. She then said it didnt go through must be an error with cards or her system, a paper printed and i didnt think anything of it and finished buying other items on a seperate transaction as the lady told me i couldnt purchase other items on the same ticket as gift card. The $25 came out of account (i later realized) went back to store and the lady said to come back next day in the morning that she couldnt do anything with gift cards because of scams? which i couldnt come back next day in morning. Due to my work schedule. Seems fishy and i wont be back to this location as how it looks is the worker kept rbe receipt and giftcard and told me it didnt go through. My bank gave the money back and let me dispute the charge

The store is very dirty and untidy. I went in on a Saturday evening to do some shopping. The store was way overcrowded and only two employees in the store. Children running rapid and one person was begging for money inside the store. It was very difficult to find any kind of item on the shelves because everything was thrown on the shelves and inthe floor. Took me 20 minutes to check out. The staff just acted like that they did not want to be there that day. I do not go into the store very often because nine times out of 10 there is panhandling going on outside in the parking lot. It’s too close to the Salvation Army homeless shelter. On various occasions you will find the homeless drinking alcohol and Hanging out in the parking lot. I do not recommend the store at all. It is the last time I will be shopping there.

Not pleased with the interaction at all. The short woman with long blonde hair who was the only one at the register was unprofessional - Another associate walked in and said she would help get the line down and the woman at the register said, “I can get it down, just these last two customers were needy” - As I’m standing there at the checkout waiting to pay.Hire someone who is more sociable and someone actually willing to do their job they get PAID to do. People come here to buy things, that is the whole purpose of this store. And for the woman, maybe try working in a kitchen where you don’t have to interact with anyone, your lack of communication and demeanor suck.

Homeless people shop lift there everyday and the employees seem to know it and just don't say anything about it. Its unusual and a little scary, but I just turn my head because those folks probably need stuff and just dont have money to pay for it. Maybe the owner let's them take stuff because he understand. That's so sweet of them. I'm sad for homeless folks, wish I could buy them a place to stay.

More items available at this location and the Dollar general has more products now. Prices could be a little better let some things are still reasonable

Even though I visit this store regularly for personal and work purchases, the manager there followed me all through the place. I am temporarily handicapped...I guess she thought a 57 yr old man limping was odd. Oh yes, I still purchased over $135 this day. My apologies to this manager for walking slow and (like any bachelor) looking for last minute gifts. I will NEVER go in this store when she is there. All of the other employees there were and are very courteous and helpful. Would have been 4 stars w/o her.

Definitely will be going back to this Dollar General. Their shelf or so clean everything was organized you can actually find prices for anything that you looking for on the young lady that Rings me up was very sweet. Definitely going back

The franchise owner gave me a shopping cart yesterday. I needed something to haul my luggage in. I'm homeless now that nasty landlords can evict people for whatever reason they wish to give the court judge.They don't have to prove anything they tell about a tenant. However, the tenant must have proof of everything they testify regarding the landlord.The landlord lies on me in eviction court. They discriminated my mental Illness.

The workers need to focus more on the customers and less on their personal lives. When I was there, there were three workers, about 9 people waiting in line, and only one worker actually working. The man was working, while two girl workers were talking to each other. Every time I go in the girls are never working, only the men.

Love it and members that employee there are great and polite and willing to help in everyway...my husband n I love to shop there even know we love in the va side rather go to tennessee dollar general store anytime it's worth the travel..and I love the one manager but feel they work her a little too much but I guess that's what happen when your great worker and trustworthy...

I walked in this dollar general without a mask on because I have a health condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. There was a heated argument about it with some of the customers and the employee working the till, and I informed the manager of the discrimination as I was leaving. EDUCATE YOUR IGNORANT EMPLOYEES ABOUT THE MANDATE ON MASKS CONCERNING INDIVIDUALS WITH HEALTH CONDITIONS OR DISABILITIES.

The 2 cashiers were outside smoking literally in front of the doors. Myself and 2 children had to walk through their smoke to enter.

If people actually paid attention, this place is higher than Wal-Mart. Crowded, shelves are a mess. Store over all is unorganized.
