They seemed short handed. There was a bit of a wait. It was okay because it was our first time and we had to see the menu and all of the different bagels to figure out what we wanted. The food was awesome. They take your order and give you a number for your table. The bagels are like no other bagel you've had. I could eat those everyday. I had the sausage egg and cheese bagel with a jalapeño bagel. The coffee was free refills, but just a regular brew.

I love a good bakery. A nice peaceful atmosphere to sit and read or just hang out, and I think I found a new favorite.I like the atmosphere here, is kinda makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional Jewish bakery in NY, but the staff are nicer than a typical New Yorker.The Bagels are excellent! Soft and flavorful, with interesting variety . I got a 1/2 dozen and so far Feta&spinach, Bacon & cheddar, and Asiago where fantastic. Great combination of sweet and savory as well.The Schemers where really good as well, I picked up a tub of Bacon & Chive that has me obsessed. Blueberry was also decent.The coffee was alright, better than your type diner or drive through but nothing to write home about, decent options of add in’s. They tend to be a little heavy handed with the flavoring to the point it overpowers the coffee, but it’s not bad really. Decent.Overall this Bristol Bagel and Bakery is a true stable of State Street, great for grabbing a hot breakfast in house or taking a bag to go for a week of at home breakfasts. Overall I think I’ll find myself being a regular here.

While in Bristol today I was looking for something sweet and savory. We found the Bristol Bagel and Bakery on State Street. It is a quaint little eatery in the middle of one of the nicest downtown streets in the region. We had several savory bagels (Asiago bagel - tasted a bit burnt from the cheese on top and Veggie bagel - delicious) and sweet (raspberry white chocolate scones and cinnamon raisin bagel - yummy).They offer a wide variety of items for breakfast, lunch and snacks. We didn’t try the coffee - but they have a great selection of coffee drinks as well.If you are in Bristol definitely go check out this eatery!

We drive in from Banner Elk for their bagels cuz they're that good. They always have day old bags of bagels for only $5.00 so we pick up as many as we can and freeze them. We usually grab whatever their soup, sandwich, special is to nosh while we play in the city...usually thrifting and sometimes we drive over JUST for the bagels!Parking: Street parking as with any city can be limited at certain times of the day, but I have never had an issue finding free parking so I've never had to pay for any business we've visited.Kid-friendliness: There are usually moms with kids eating whenever we are there.

I highly recommend stopping in for the Barbie and Oppenheimer drinks! The Barbie was sweet and delicious and I added some tapioca boba which made it perfect! The Oppenheimer was a little more sophisticated with a very pleasing flavor. And to top it off, the staff is great!

Not great. The store smells like pool cleaner, and it visibly looks dirty inside. The workers did not seem happy to be working and that was obvious to customers. The man bringing everyone their order loved very slow and didn’t even walk all the way to the table he was bringing orders to. They got every order wrong. The chai tea I got tasted very bad and the milk was steamed for way too long. The bagel I got was not toasted either. They are almost out of every bagel and it didn’t look like anyone was making any more either. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the tomato basil soup was pretty good but that wasn’t even enough to save this place for me. Will not be returning.

Excellent service! I really enjoyed my lox bagel and iced latte, I’m glad they have oatmilk as an alternative milk. I’ll be coming back for sure to try their other bagels!

Bagels are awesome!! Their paper cups for sodas leak like crazy though! Staff was fairly nice but could improve somewhat! Nice atmosphere. Clean and good amount of seating. It's nice to look out the front windows when you're eating. Would highly recommend the maple bacon bagels!

I live in Richlands Virginia and drive 40 miles one way to go to Bristol Tennessee once a month. Bristol Bagel & Bakery is the very first place I go to when I arrive. My order :Two toasted garlic bagels with butter and a half dozen bagels to go. The place is clean, beautiful, and the staff is so friendly. If visiting Bristol stop at Bristol Bagel and Bakery for fresh baked delicious food, at a great price, waited on by very friendly staff

Got the Lox Bagel with no onions, pasta salad, a large coffee and had to buy an extra side of cream cheese after the first bite. Bill was about 16 bucks after the extra dollar thirty for the small side of cream cheese.Overall the meal was pretty disappointing, the everything bagel was OK but the smoked salmon didn't have a great flavor. Without the purchase of an overpriced small side of cream cheese the bagel sandwich would have been to to dry and uninspired to bother eating. The pasta salad had a bolder flavor than I expected which was nice and the coffee was good.I was really on the cusp between 2 and 3 stars but I think the extra charge for a little more cream cheese to make the bagel sandwich half way palletable couldn't be overcome by an ok side and coffee.Service was standard friendly, she takes your order and bring out the food when it's prepared.

This place is really nice. Plenty of options. I got an everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It's was delicious! My vegan gf got strawberry bagel with peanut butter. They will literally prepare it exactly how you like it. Oh and they sell yesterdays bagels for cheap that they don't sell fresh. A whole bag of good bagels for cheap isn't easy to find around this area.

My wife and I stopped on our way through town for breakfast. We both got a breakfast bagel sandwich, which were delicious! I got the everything bagel and she got jalapeños cheddar. Coffee was excellent as well. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Very relaxed atmosphere, good prices, and the best bagels. I personally love the chocolate chip and strawberry swirl, but hadn't been able to get them lately because they were gone. Staff explained to me those were very popular, but I could call ahead to order, which was extremely helpful because since I've found this place, I drive an hour just to get some bagels! They're that good.And that's just the bagels. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible.The only thing that would make these bagels more perfect is if they brought back the pimento cheese to go with it (but that may have been under previous ownership?)Anyways, every flavor bagel I've had here has been amazing.You need to try this place!

This place is cute as a button with great service and the widest variety of coffee syrups I’ve ever seen! Best tomato soup I’ve ever had, and a great price point to boot. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

The food was pretty good. We had bagel sandwiches with egg, bacon, and cheese. The bagel was tasty, overall it was very good. The service was a little weird. I didn't really feel welcomed which I guess is okay but then they forgot to make my drink and no one took ownership. They did make me another drink but like no one apologized or anything. It was just sort of strange to be honest. Who knows, maybe it was me!

This was one of my favorite places to visit when I was in college! They have some of the best bagels I've ever had. I went in today and had a toasted onion bagel and their delicious tomato basil bisque and sat in the window and watched the rain. It's always had a calm and cozy atmosphere, perfect place to sit for a quiet afternoon snack. So sad this was the last day that they'll be open! Whoever has bought the place has some big shoes to fill! Manna will be sorely missed!

I have had the same few issues, on multiple occasions, ordering commonly requested and on-the-menu bagel items. So much so that it's completely daft to consider going there again. When a customer can not get a menu item prepared correctly one time out of several, it is probably time to cross them off your list.I do not write to complain, but to inform said business of an obvious point of customer disappointment, and one consistent enough to ensure future frustrations. It seems difficult to believe that a decent bagel place--with fine ingredients--can be so consistently wrong. This holds true for pick-ups, sit-down, and DoorDash deliveries.The friend who has always ordered with me (also to amazingly similar results), blames the staff. I do not feel that the staff is the problem, as it has spanned a range of staff.I have no desire to instill negativity in any potential customer, nor to gripe about a local business. I just don't know how I have never been able to get a toasted Asiago bagel with regular cream cheese and tomato slices. Seriously. Have not been able to ever do it.There are much bigger issues in the world, but i do love a good bagel. After yesterday, however, I'm so perplexed that I not only had to address a very wrong order while I was there, but ended-up reordering the second order later-on for pick-up because I mistakenly failed to check it before I left the shop. And, as I have mentioned, it was not the first time.The food seems like it would not be bad if you could get what you ordered. So, today was my last time, because I ended up dropping more money for what the items and hassles were worth, and I just can't afford the money and never need any added disappoints, no matter the size,

What I just experienced blew my mind. The owners of Bristol Bagel & Bakery do not deserve this business. Customer service should always be first. Before we ordered our bagels, we were told they only had two flavors of cream cheese, strawberry and bacon chive. Remind you, they said this despite a fridge full of other flavors. Since I wanted bacon chive, it worked for me.That is, until the employee came to me almost five minutes later and said they only had enough bacon chive for half a bagel and asked if it would be ok. I asked her if she could just open the fridge and get another out. She told me no. Imagine that. You have it, you sold it, and now you do t want to deliver it. See the picture below to see that they had it. Shame on you, Bristol Bagel & Bakery.

The coffee was heavenly! I had a bagel with cream cheese and it was fresh & delicious. My family got breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed them. Staff were friendly. Nice atmosphere & clean.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!!!The food, BEST BAGELS IN THE WORLD, and the ambience in this shop is PERFECT! The Jazz music that plays while you enjoy the deliciousness of a large variety of bagels takes you back to a much simpler time. I definitely recommend Bristol Bagel!!!!!

I was heartbroken when I found a hair in my bagel, the staff was so kind and accommodating and gave me a free bagel coupon. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be using it… immediately after leaving my friends and I all felt sick to our stomachs. I was truly concerned that I wasn’t going to make it to a bathroom in time before I lost control of my bowels. I’m 19 years old, incontinence isn’t something I should be concerned about at this point. The potato salad was very frightening in taste which may have been the culprit of our experience…

Im so suprised! I never expected the food and drinks to be this good! I had a soup of the day and it was the best soup ive ever had and tasted like fall if fall had a taste! The bagel chicken salad sandwich i got tasted much different than ive ever had and was much larger than i expected. The bubble tea was phenomenal! I couldnt decide on flavors so i mixed my favorites. Chai base, rose bubbles, with lychee and lanvender syrup and when i say i could drink this every day i would!I was originally just looking for something new and different and man this is definitely the most unique flavored food ive had and i cant wait to go again! This time im bringing some people!
