I came across The Black Dog Barkery, during a late night phone search for dog birthday cakes. I messaged the Black Dog Barkery Facebook page (hoping for a small miracle), I was relieved when the owner responded very quickly, and fit my request in. I placed a “semi-short notice” order hoping I could get a cake for my service dog/best friend birthday, that was only a week away! When I picked the cake up today, I was very pleased!!! It was made well and worth every penny. The shop has a wide variety of dog eats and treats/dog clothes (big and small sizes) and a large selection of toys for your best friend/baby. (We came out with an antler, that absolutely fascinated Jeff &, matching balloon animal squeaky toys, (party favor toys for him and his fur-cousin Trixie ). My Buddy, Jeffrey had the best 1st birthday and is exhausted now !! Thank you Amy!

If I could give 6 stars I would. The Lady that runs this was so extremely helpful and sweet. It was my first time going to a dog bakery ( my dog was turning 14 and I thought she deserved a good treat) and she was more than helpful. Shes also a canine nutritionist so I trusted the ingredients that was in everything I bought. She makes homemade cakes,cupcakes, treats. Also has dog toys,clothes, dehydrated dog food, collars, leashes. If you're interested in ordering a cake make sure you order ahead of time!

From our 120lb birthday boy "Rukus" to our 9.5lb boss man "Beckham" this ADORABLE place has something for ANY fur baby. Wonderful experience for our boys & their proud Moma & Dad. A must visit. Well worth our over an hour drive.

This store has the top quality freeze dried raw treats my pooch loves. Great toy and clothing selection. My dog loves the bacon kisses from the bakery. Thank you for carrying brands no one else does!

Great place to visit with the dogs. They were definitely at ease in the store. The homemade treats being made fresh made it seem like we were walking into a bakery not a pet store. Even my picky eater loved all the samples the owner was happy to give the dogs.

Excellent little dog bakery and store. The lady working was super nice and helpful. They have a ton of toys and other supplies for dogs. We bought a cupcake for our furbaby girl, some other treats and toys. Absolutely amazing experience, we will be back.

If I could give more than 5 stars to Black Dog Barkery I would. The owner is awesome and very friendly to all her customers. Stop giving one star ratings to businesses who enforce the masks in their stores. It's childish of you and if you don't like it then don't let the door hit you on the way out.Anyways, here's a picture of my sweet boy and his birthday cake made with love and care. Definitely recommend!

Great place to buy Answers raw diet for your dog...and many others things to buy supplements, treats, toys, ect...Amy (the owner) is a certified canine nutritionist and really knows her stuff...wonderful people!!! Would definitely recommend to ANYBODY who truly cares about what their dog is eating!!!

Announced via Facebook post that the week of New Year's they were open Tuesday-Sunday. Then on Wednesday announced they were closing for the rest of the week. I posted a comment on Facebook about this confusion/contradiction, and they subsequently deleted my comment - did not address the previous post, address the contradiction, etc. Just simply deleted a very reasonable (not rude, vulgar, or even negative) comment. As a result of their inaccurate posts, I was unable to get my dog a special "Gotcha Day" treat. Maybe one day this business will get their act together. Until then just ignore Facebook reviews, as they clearly prefer to delete any unfavorable reviews/comments instead of addressing issues and providing any level of customer service.
