Very nice, very hard working staff. The shelter runs off of donations and the shelter makes the absolute best with what the community donates. The dogs get walks and the cats are utterly pampered. They get a constant feed of new dogs into the shelter daily so there's always a selection to choose from if you're looking for a new pet.

tommy chapman is a wonderful person, we had to put down our dog barker who was old & sick! tommy come out here & pick him up for no charge! he knew it was hard for us to have put down our good boy & money is tight as it is for everyone he said it was on him! that was the 31 of January 2022

Adopted dog for mother-in-law. Friendly staff. Very busy. Took a little longer then we wanted to get the dog. If I remember correctly about a week for the whole process. Did not always return calls as promised but again I have to assume it is because the are so busy. Again the staff was great and cared for the animals very humanely and really cared about them.

I adopted one of my dogs from this shelter 2 years agoThe folks that work there are truly concerned that each dog goes to a good home. I have taken my dog back to visit the workers so they can see how well she is doing. Sharon is especially helpful and always remembers me when I stop by. Unfortunately, so many of the dogs are larger breeds so they stay longer at the shelter. I wish I had a place for one of them. They need a home too.

I adoped a dog. Was given a harness , leash and bed for dog for free. The worker explained and answered all questions very well. Very nice employes and clean place.

These people are so good and are willing to help you with anything they can. The thing about this place is that they care enough about your pets needs that they give you free bags or cans of food for your cats and/or dogs! Thank you for your help! Fantastic job 👌

Even though they are packed, they are super quick to help anyone in need. With the ice and snow, I had to drop off a poor cat someone dumped on our front porch and they took her in anyway as I wasn't willing to let the poor thing die, but we couldn't take her in ourselves. No put downs, all doing their best to get animals homes.

These folks love animals of all types. They have every intention on Vetting all dogs, and other animals, and finding them forever homes. They also work with various Rescue groups that Foster and get all animal's ready to immediately move in with a Family that they review via Applications required to be filled out by all prior to adoption. No dogs turned into the Shelter that survive their injuries or health issues are ever put down to my knowledge. They have a Wonderful staff that really loves there job helping the animals there. This Shelter will always be my first stop when looking for a new dog in the future.

Very friendly and nice people....I adopted a cat after she got done with everything they do to them (shots, Neuter,rabies) and she was skittish but coming around now.... so thanks for the help and information on her ( We have name her Skittles because she was so skittish)....lol...will hopefully see y'all again for another one

They are getting better and better. I want to know more info about the euthanized animals how many are put down weekly. No info about that. Looks alot better inside and out. Proud of them so far

I have called THREE separate times about an animal destroying my property. Every single time, they tell me they will come out and EVERY SINGLE TIME, they don’t do anything. Highly disappointed!!
