I had called to verify that the lady would know how to groom a labradoodle, as I know it takes certain experience since their coats are much different from other breeds. My doodle absolutely loves getting groomed and has never had issues with it. He is always complimented on how well he is as he is getting groomed. (He is 4 y.o) I dropped my dog off at 10:30am, and I immediately noticed the lack of preparation that this business had. The grooming table was full of paper, trash, and I couldn’t make out the rest. It was a mess. I should have known then to take my dog and leave but I gave her a chance. I understand that is my fault. I waited patiently on my boy and got a call at 3:40pm that he was done. As I got there I noticed he had a bad wound on his nose. She immediately told me it was because of a blade change. Even if that was the case, you call yourself a professional and that is not acceptable. She charged me $95 no hesitation. This is the most I’ve ever been charged for him and we used to live in CA. All this to say be careful with who you take your dog to. And if you have a weird gut feeling about someone don’t leave your baby there with them. I learned my lesson.In the photos I will post what she did and what he normally looks like.
