We stayed at this campground for a fun weekend on the lake with our kids, however the lake access is not very accessible, there is never anyone at the boat dock , and you do have to cross a highway to get to the lake on foot. The bathrooms were never cleaned while we were there, in fact they were not usable, very dirty. This campground is not for visitors, there is mostly long term renters, who live there. It was unusual. However, the pool was very nice and we used it frequently. The website says there is a Lakeview grill next to the pool but it was not open the whole time we were there from a Thursday to Sunday. Not exactly what we were expecting in a campground. The website is deceiving.

Used to be a great park before change of ownership. Too expensive for the area. Another great place destroyed by a bigger company.

My husband and I stayed here for our nephews graduation weekend and the campground is very accommodating. Nice level spot mostly gravel with some grass. It wasn’t a very good weekend because it rained a lot but site drained good. Didn’t use any amenities but they all looked nice. Only nice day we had was setup day. Even though it has a lot of month to month (permanent) spots it didn’t feel like the normal campground that offer the same. Plenty of places to walk our dog and nice dog park also. Easy access from the interstate. We would stay again.

Took my son there to get propane tanks filled. They were quick to fill the tanks, and fairly priced.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a deluxe cabin. It was fantastic. Super clean and stocked with everything that you need except your food and toiletries. It had a full fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and a blender! Plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. The campground was clean and the pool was a decent size and very refreshing. My dad was also there and stayed in their camper. They were in a lower site (I think it was a premium site) down by the cabins and he was very happy with the site. It was spacious and his particular site had great shade also.

Would stay again! Park, pool, laundry room, and bathrooms were all clean and seemed well maintained. Staff was friendly. We were in site 60. The grassy area behind the sites on this row was level and good for walking the dogs and kids to run. Also convenient to the pool and other amenities. This is also a great location for visiting local attractions. We went to the Gray Fossil Site, Bays Mountain and Planetarium, and the Appalachian Caverns. These were all great spots for visiting with our 12, 9, and 3 year old. Lots of hands on experiences.

Loved this place until it started to change and the rent and prices all around were raised. The spot were in floods something bad when it rains and we still don't have gravel after we've asked a few times for it. It is a nice campground. They need more staff now it seems like. There's a few dog parks and yes dogs must be on a leash at ALL times here it's a law in TN. And you must pick up after your dogs. Thank you!! They are located in such a great area close to everything and everywhere.

We stayed in the cabins 5/23/21. Great experience!! The owner/staff were extremely helpful. We arrived late on a Sunday evening after booking online just a few hours earlier. The online booking system made a small error (since corrected 🙂) that had us in too small of a cabin. When we arrived they scrambled to prepare a larger cabin for us when I’m sure everyone was already relaxing for the night. Thanks again!!The cabin itself was basically brand new. Very clean. They are not huge but the layout is very functional and efficient. Full kitchen with oven, stove top, microwave, and full refrigerator. Full bath is big enough. The 3 beds are all nice, heavy memory foam. The 2 queens in the loft are “crawl in” sleeping space only. They are comfortable but just know you can’t stand up in the area to move around. We used both pet areas. They were clean and kept areas. The by entrance has more room to run around and benches for people to sit. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean. There is a small store in the office with snacks and essentials. The entire park was almost full but very quiet. We saw a lot of people walking their pets. We would definitely stay there again!

Update (April 2023): monthly prices are increasing by almost $200 per month starting in May 2023, so this review is no longer as accurate. Still the same facilities and amenities as of this date, but the benefit is no longer worth the high price.Original review:Very nice RV park. They have a clean pool with small snack bar. Laundry and shower rooms are clean and spacious. There is a large gazebo and on-site propane filling (cheapest propane in the local area!) They even have lake access and several boat slips for park residents only.WiFi can be a little weak, but it's not all that bad.

Lakeview was able to get me in last minute after another campground cancelled my reservations due to weather. We didn't really see much of the campground due to poor weather and we did not use the facilities. When we were loading up to leave I noticed our camper had a flat tire. The staff at the campground was helpful in getting me a jack and tools to get the tire fixed.

Really nice campground...haven't used the amenities as I am working 6 days a week, but the pool looks nice, twice daily trash pick up, lake access with a nice dock, quiet, good wi-fi, not too far from restaurants and shopping, huge weekend flea market across the road...I am comfortable and the cost is within the range of other campgrounds around the Country I have stayed in.....

This campground could be really nice, big lots but it's mostly gravel with a little strip mound of grass for your "yard" can't even set a picnic table on it level, the site should be more grass and less gravel. Speaking of picnic tables, it says each site has one and a fire ring, ours had neither so I called and asked for a picnic table since we were going to be there a week, said sure have one down this afternoon, when we left a week later still no picnic table or fire ring. And if they are going to let people live there, which I have no problem with, they need some rules on site appearance, it's starting to look like a trashy trailer park.

We are new to camping, and decided to stay at Lakeview RV Resort for our first couple of trips because of its proximity to our home. We really enjoyed our stay here. We selected the large sites for both of our trips here. The large sites have plenty of room for our travel trailer and my truck. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The common spaces are very clean and well maintained. We also ate at the small Lakeview grill that they have during our stay. The food was very good. The kids also enjoyed the pool that they have there. Overall very pleased with this campground and we will be back for sure!

Amazing staff makes this place worth the stay. Plenty of sites, gravel spots, level with a grass island between. Cabins are a great options as well. Newly installed play park for the kids, daily trash pick up, propane sales and snacks in the gift shop. Gonna miss these guys! Close to Bristol Motor Speedway and the lake is just down the lane. Beautiful sunrises with a mountain backdrop just up the way.

We were pleased with our stay of almost 2 months. The park is very clean, not just the indoor facilities, but also the outside grounds, and the pool is also kept clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful with resolving an issue that came up. The only negative comment is the water pressure was extremely low.

I gave 4 stars only because they lost our reservation. We had made our reservations over 6 months in advance, the new owners got a new system and they were supposed to get all the old reservations transferred but it didn't work... the manager made it work and honored our original reservation price. The bath houses were very clean. We had an end site and it was very quiet. All the sites appeared to be paved which was a new experience for us and they didn't seem to have any fire pits.

My husband & I were on a trip from Tonawanda NY to the Bristol area checking out various places as we plan kn relocating within the next the year or so. We stopped by Lakeview, on a whim, to get prices and see the campground. Upon (attempting to) leaving, the truck wouldn't start - the starter went!! Well, not only did these guys get me the number to the nearest parts store, & let us fix it in the lot, but the few campers that drove by also offered help! After Ubering (my 1st time doing that too!), I brought the part back & my husband had it installed within 30 minutes. We went in to thank them & buy a tshirt (hubs shirt was filty!) well...needless to say, they wouldn't let me pay for the shirt. The hospitality of this place is amazing! Definitely makes me want to bring my RV down and stay here. Thanks again guys - you made me smile during an awful experience that I only wanted to cry.

First of all I'm a Full Time RV'er (my rv is my home). This is my favorite private park I've stayed in for many reasons.Large entry ways into each site! I'm a 43' 5th wheel with a 20' F350 and was able back in with one go at it without needing wife to guide much. I didn't feel like I was shoe horning my truck into the site with the trailer there. Its normal to feel like this every where else.Gravel covered sites- Never any issues in high rains. Water dissipates and stays outside instead of in your rig!Power powers near back of rig. I have a power connection nearness on my rig.Awesome Water pressure! Be sure to bring your regulator. Many friendly campers here! Every one I have met is great including the staff. They care about their sites and it shows. This is a good thing. Also there is enough grass for your doggie to do his business and be happy.Events. Tonight we are playing music Bingo. He'll of a lot of fun! Wife won a shirt. Across the street every Saturday and Sunday is a very large flea market.WIFI is both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz and good quality. Allows good streaming. With my Pepwave Maxtransit I was able to use both at once. They fill and sell propane on-site. Last winter they even took the tank and brought if back to my site. Was charged about the same as Tractor Supply.Pool for kiddies (yes for kids at heart too!)

Staff are supper friendly and helpful. They have cable, wifi, coin laundry, and pool.Really enjoyed the salt water pool. Over all great experience. The pool could use some repairs some tiles had fallen off. Bathhouse was private and clean. Will come back for sure. The lake was down due to repairs on the damn. Hopefully the lake will be back up next time. :)

The good: it's open through the winter when most campgrounds are closed. I'm self-contained and so didn't need the facilities other than occasional use of the office for package pickup. As a travel nurse, I needed an open site so I could work a contract through the winter. Easy commute to Johnson City Medical Center. A grocery and pharmacy aren't too far up the road. They sell propane on site, but only during office hours. Can accommodate big rigs on some sites. Close to Bristol Speedway. The bad: short office hours, power problems and unresponsive management. The office hours through the winter were extremely short. I could never get my packages on a work day and had to wait until non-work days to go. I often work 4 in a row. There was a threat to send packages back rather than have them sit in the office. This is an older RV park that is slowly doing upgrades like putting concrete patio areas in the RV sites. The patios make it a pretty significant squeeze for big rigs to get into spaces. Upgrades are coming with increased prices.I started having power problems a couple of weeks ago. My RV has a built-in hard-wired surge protector. If Line 1 or 2 on 50amp service spike over 130, my rig shuts down. I got occasional electric blinks, which were brushed off. Over April fools weekend, I lost power due to Line 2 being consistently >130, running closer to 138. I called the office to have my pedestal looked at while I plugged in to a neighboring pedestal to try to get power and to keep my dogs safe when temps went over 80F. I also called an RV tech. The RV tech stated the park had known pedestal problems and that he wasn't allowed to work there because management disagreed, and that they'd taken his cards out of the office. I had my hard-wired surge protector replaced to preclude that as a problem and had the RV generally checked. Unfortunately, it cannot be bypassed. No issues with my rig. The RV park changed the fuses in the pedestal. After that, I got unreliable power, blinking off and on daily due to more Line 2 spikes on 50amp service. I offered to change sites. This Friday, I again lost power for the whole day while at work. I called the office from the hospital and could not get anyone to answer. I was unable to leave a message as it said voicemail wasn't set up. I was able to get a wonderful neighbor in the park to go to management for me. No power all day. Thankfully, it was in the 60s all day, and my dogs were fine. Never did hear from the park or management despite my neighbor's intervention and my unanswered calls.By the time I arrived back from work, I still had no power. It was going to go in to the 30s during the night, so I packed up and made the decision to leave. I went back the following morning to pick up my final package from the office and settle my bill. I did not receive any explanations or apologies or any customer service from Kiser. I was just told my bill had been closed out. Kiser wouldn't even look me in the face/eyes. The manager, Kiser, had every opportunity to talk to me, apologize, and attempt to make things right. It was abundantly clear he didn't care. After further discussion with an RV tech, he mentioned that the 50 amp breaker on the pedestal needed to be changed out. I'm not an expert on these things, but the park should consider upgrading their pedestals instead of pouring concrete. My rig works fine at the KOA in Jonesborough and powered right up.Just be aware you may have issues here if your rig has hard set parameters and that the current management likely won't help you.
