I have lived in this community over 30 years, in the past 5 yrs ( more so since the pandemic COVID-19) They have had a lot of changes, a high turn over rate in employees. This store has gone through so many changes FOR THE COMMUNITY! The problem is people today just don't want to work, leaving that responsibility on the faithful employees that do show up of work. Also everyone's entitled to having a bad day. I have worked in customer service over 40 years and I can say some customers are rude,demanding, and think they should be catered to wether they are wrong or right. That's just not the case,sales associates will treat you with kindness and respect as long as YOU TREAT THEM THE SAME! Imagine working all day having customers cussing and fussing at you because of prices or because that cashier took her/ his time with a customer up in front of you, maybe they were having to pay with change or their card wasn't working correctly. Whatever the reason, trust me they feel the tension of all the customers behind and waiting and they know one of those customers are going to take that frustration out on them,even though all they did was their JOB! They have managed to clean that store up , expand it's food isles all to benefit the customer to make it more convenient for each and everybody. I believe this store has come a very long way. This is why I still use their store after moving out of that community.I I will continue doing so,I truly wish the public had a better understanding of how THEIR BEHAVIOR CAN AFFECT SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE ARE JUST AN EMPLOYEE THAT COMES IN AND WE TRY TO BRIGHTEN EACH CUSTOMERS DAY,ITS JUST DIFFICULT TO DO WHEN YOUR DEALING WITH RUDE CUSTOMERS AND FELLOW EMPLOYEES THAT DONT WANT TO WORK. So be kind to that sales associate,they are only doing their job and probably someone else's . Have compassion for your fellow HUMAN BEING...

This is one of the smaller Dollar General stores in the area. It's in a great location that is central to everything. Their stock is a bit small and the parking lot could be more accessible. However the place is clean and the employees are very friendly and extremely helpful. The prices are always good as well

The associates are not friendly, but that's not my biggest issue with this place. The issue at its core, is the way the employees are being treated. The abuse of the employees has gotten so bad, that the turnover rate is unbelievably high.I don't blame the employees for how they behave. It is not their fault. If they were treated the way they deserve to be treated, then the experience for everyone would be a lot better.If the people in charge weren't soulless, Dollar General would be a better place.

I just love it, I mean the staff isn't the most friendly people you'll ever meet but they'll do I guess, I mean sometimes working sucks but that doesn't mean you bring it to work with you, but the stores are very convenient and are located everywhere so that's definitely something I guess....

They have a new manager, every since she has been there the shelves are ALWAYS EMPTY. From dog food to every day products. The empty shelves make the store look awful.I shop there often. They have had a help wanted sing up for awhile. As all dollar General stores the employees stock shelves until they have a customer. They really should have a bell to ring so employees know when they have a customer.Well tonight I went into the store and there was a customer waiting, I waited a good while, then I loudly said HELLO, no answer, i said again, HELLO, no answer, I said to the customers that was waiting, "this us strang", one more time HELLO. This young gal YELLS, "SHE'S COMING"!!!!!!!!! I said, "why didn't you say that the first time"? She replied, " I wasn't paying attention ". She was literally right there one aisle down. I don't understand. I replied, "Maybe you should". She had this ATTITUDE that should not be excepted in retail, or any other business that has to do with customer service. I honestly felt that the situation was going to escalate. When the other gal rang me up, I asked what is that young ladies name? As I was leaving the store, the gal named Danielle was still running her mouth. UNBELIEVABLE......

This store and Dollar tree are what’s left around my area. Family Dollar stores here closed whereas a dollar general store has now added a store every few blocks, never farther than 3-5 miles apart even in the rural areas here. And, they’re still growing, buying and building a store every 3-4 months it seems. They now outnumber McDonald’s, so they’re conveniently close almost everywhere. Prices are becoming more competitive.

they did not have nothing in stock. No washing stuffor dryer sheets. no medication for my stomach ( pepcid). They're was on person on the floor and one on the register. I was talking to a lady that i thought was shopping for the same thing i was lysol lemon mopping stuff and she was the one on the floor all alone trying to unbox every aisle. As well she did not have a name take. This was my first visit to this Dollar General and the last time i will drive out of my way at night in the rain taking a chance to even come in with this virus so back right now ... I had a mask on but the lady on the floor trying to stock by herself was NOT WEARING A MAS KM. VERY ,VERY,VERY. WRONG. the store was a mess ,the floors was nasty and I will never shop the again.

VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IM TRAMATIZED BY THE EXPERIENCE I HAVE A PERFECT RECORD ACCUSED ME OF THEFT BROUGHT THE COPS IN LOOKED AT THE CAMERAS THAT PROVED NOTHING HAPPENED WOULD NOT EXCEPT MY MONEY FOR THE ITEMS I HAD AT THE COUNTER IM A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF 7+ YEARS DOING BUSINESS WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A NICE STORE THATS A HALF MILE AWAY FROM WERE I LIVE IM A UPPER MIDDLE CLASS INCOME PERSON THAT JUST SHOPS THERE BECAUSE ITS CONVENIENT TO WERE I LIVE NOT BECAUSE I HAVE TO I NEVER AGAIN WILL STEP FOOT IN ANY DOLLAR GENERAL AGAIN IM DONE THERE'S NO FIXING IT THE GM IS LOSING THE STORE MONEY DOING A PERSON LIKE THAT

Quick to get in and out most days. They have alot to choose from and new items weekly. The prices are reasonable, & majority of the staff are exceptional, very nice, & helpful.

Would not recommend going there. My mom pulled into the parking lot and as soon as she stopped the car the so called manager on duty told her she was not allowed in the store and wouldn’t give her a reason. They were very rude and disrespectful I would rather give my hard earned money to a company that respects their customers.

I had a very bad experience..I go to this store every day sometimes twice a day...I know each and every employee by name like one on one basis...they have a new employee who thought she seen my wife do something she didn't do...she went to put her phone in her purse, she even told the lady I was just putting my phone in my purse, and that lady still thought she was stealing...this lady yelled at my wife cussed at her and told her to never come back again...now let me mind u we have been going there for like five years now...the manager came out to our car and said "she was sorry" "and that the girl was new and not from our area"...i dnt give two craps about that, wat they did was very unprofessional....wen my wife refused to open her purse, because she didn't do anything wrong she said "Yeah that's because u have it stuffed full" my wife said, i think u need to go back and Look at ur cameras...there was no sense in the way she talked to my wife...this lady should not be working there... She was standing in the corner talking about my wife like she wasn't even standing there....I have never in my life seen an employee treat a customer like that or talk to them like that...they just lost our business I will drive 15 mins the other to go to another store....She dnt need to be working with the public if she can't do no better than that..just my opinion..I wouldn't want her to represent my business!

Prefer the old layout of the store honestly. And there's way too much stuff in there and it's very crowded. But I do like the fact that it's close to home and I can get what I need without going too far.

Usually struggle to get through the store for large carts full of merchandise 6 today lined up right in front of what I need. Out of alot of items I looked for as well. Clerk was also rude

Only place to carry ORIGINAL Fixodent denture adhesive that is color and tasteless but most of all stronger and longer lasting but I warn you put it on as Soo n as u get up if not you might have to wait till morning to remove dentures from your guns.

It can really be hit or miss if there is anyone at the register and even more miss on how long it will be for an employee to show up if they aren't there. It seems like there is only one employee in the store at anyone time.

I went there to put money on my PayPal. It took 25 min to do and turns out it wasn't put on the card at all. My receipt was misplaced so basically Dollar General stole $23.95 from me

Stock person was rude and service was slow if you live closer to eliz or J.c I would go to one of those if in bluff city well your call but personally I choose to spend my money at places I feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer
