Deserves a zero review. This DG store has the very rudest employee (manager?) I've ever seen. My husband and I shop at the Benton, Tennessee store often. We both have encountered employee rudness any time we've asked where an item is located.We won't shop there anymore.

To the lady with long gray hair and glasses that works here, me and my mother come here often to shop and we very much know you have the tendency to follow us or have other employees watch us while we shop lol. Even though we have not stolen anything you make it very uncomfortable for us to shop here. Instead of following people that actually spend money here, maybe you should worry about the tower of boxes on those carts you guys leave in the aisles for someone to hurt themself, and how about you guys actually stock something while your at it too. You guys don't get paid enough to be a security guard too lol

Nobody is ever at the front. I could just walk in and steal a whole bunch of things and walk out and nobody would notice. Also, the ladies who were here today were both unprofessional and ignorant. Don't apply here they play with your time and never answer the store phone. Lack of professionalism most definitely.

Friendly service, decent prices. This store is a disgrace. I know their struggles, and understand how hard it is to keep a store neat and stocked. But it only takes about 20 minutes to push a broom around the store and get the trash, and product out of the floor.There is no excuse for what I saw today except staff not doing their job.

I was just in your store in Benton, TN and was charged tax on my groceries even though I was using EBT and this is even a tax break month for groceries in TN. It was not anything to do with the cashier as I was using the self checkout register. And it really is not about the money because it was only $3.95. It is purely the principle of the matter. What is up with how y'all have the registers set up?? If I had not had someone with me who could cover the extra charge I would have been up the creek! I am intensely debating if I will ever visit the Benton Dollar General Store again, it's quality has went downhill ever since the new manager started. There is never any meat in the freezer and prices are exorbitant. I feel like you all simply do not care since we're little bitty Hickville and you feel like you can do us any old way because the Family Dollar is the only competition. I am sorely frustrated and disappointed with your business practices tonight. Thank you for allowing me to vent

There's always empty shelfs.i usually have to make a trip to the family dollar store to get what I need that you guys don't have.Why don't you guys close the store for one day a week to fully stock the shelf.

The store I go to is good like the workers .Only thing that is wrong with this dollar store is that I drink 7up soft drinks and that's all I can drink but the majority of the time the store is always out . Plus they are always on sale which is a plus but the company that delivers them never bring many of the 12 packs so what they do bring is gone quick. Another thing about the store it's only 2 miles away. There are other dollar stores I can go to but they are always out of the drinks also but if I drive 10 miles on up the road I can get these 12 pack 7up products from food city which is actually way out of my way and is okay but it would be nice if your dollar stores could do better about keeping this product in stock.

The workers are always on point and do a great job. One of the best dollar generals I've been to. Also only one person stocks while another runs the counter for all of you snobs. They keep it together very well considering they are under staffed.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The employees was very helpful when i needed assistance. They were both very friendly and made me feel like coming back again for my shopping needs.

Decent selection and customer support. Unfortunately run into the problem of them not keeping many things in stock, and often finding empty shelves instead of what I came looking for. All around recommend, but go to the Family Dollar down the street if you have the choice.

It's a dollar store, there's not a whole ton to say. It's got a variety of grocery foods, such as frozen pizzas and a few other frozen items. It's got breads, milks and some sandwich meats. There does seem to be a lot of overstock in the isles, so it's a little messy inside, but it's not a bad place to stop and grab something fast at!

This place is slowly getting back together. I never could find anything before or there were carts everywhere. The women in there now are amazing and hard working. They are very helpful and I always leave feeling like I have made a friend for life.

You can see from the picture I posted, it's very hard to get down the aisles. It's this way 95% of the time. Can't find time to clean but plenty of time to go outside and smoke which makes you have to wait for them to come in to get checked out.

The workers there fit our small town. They are sweet to you even if a truck just came in and they are swamped with wok from it. The customer is still their 1st priority. How often do you see this anymore! Great job ladies. Polk is proud of you all. 👍 😊😎

Always friendly they were super busy and we only needed 1 thing so my husband came back to the car, he didn't want ta wait in line, so I got out n went in to wait in line. They had opened a second register and by the time I got my I item they had opened a second register. Great job! I was out in no time

The store has a good variety of products, both name brands and store brands. The store could use some reorganizing. There's carts full of inventory and large bins in the isles, which makes it difficult to navigate through.

Under staffed,and place is a mess ,with boxes ,and stuff all over the place ,can't even get through the isle .All the Dollar General are always under staffed ,and over worked employees.The CEO want all the money ,and under pay their employees ,and over work them. I don't blame the employees.I blame the big wigggss.Cant give a star , because it was so bad.Looks like Im going to have to give a star to get out if this mess.

Well stocked store, easily substitutes as a little grocery which is needed in this tight knitted small town. Staff is very helpful in helping me find my odd item.

This store is always very slow you always have a big long line the store always has to much stuff piled up everywhere this store needs better and faster people working in it and more people on the cash registers helping to get people out a lot quicker

This location is A LOT better than most. Friendly staff. Clean shelves and most items are faced. (Which is pretty difficult considering the foot traffic at this location.)
