This is the best place in Bell Buckle to get ice cream, fried pies, homemade caramel corn, and their source of Moon pies is direct and fresh from the factory. Try a Nehi peach ice cream float or a milkshake with your favorite flavor!! (Nehi peach soda is made by RC Cola.) Oh and homemade fudge... More varieties than anywhere I've ever seen.

It was obvious the girl behind the register was new. She made a mistake and the rude man with the grey hair and earring actually cussed at her with a cafe full of children. He is always loud and overbearing, but this time he took it too far. The ice cream prices are ridiculous. I will not be back. He needs a course on customer service. No wonder they can't keep help.

The owner is very full of himself. Makes a lot of smart remarks when trying to ask normal questions. Pricing for ice cream is misleading. Sign say prices per scoop but yet he weighs it. Given his inflated prices, you would think he wouldn't be so stingy about the scoops. Won't be back.

We found this town on a random road trip and it feels like you’re taking a true trip back into time with this one, the whole aesthetic is comforting and the ice cream at Blue Bird Antiques is home-made, it’s a total must if you find yourself in the area.

If James Beard, the famous French Chef says these are the best pastries in the world and that nothing in Paris compares, then how could we not try it. That was what a local told us anyway about the visit of the famous chef. The lemon pies were melt in your mouth euphoria to be sure. We also got fudge but haven't eaten it yet. This is a little out of the way country town in TN, lots of visitors. Worth the visit though it is only a small strip of old country theme stores and antiques.

My husband and I went into the store yesterday and tried the peaches and cream fried pie and it was amazing. Went back today for the Apple and while we waited for them to cool down because of course we bought all of them, Mama Phillips came out and we visited with her. Felt like ive known her my whole life. My husband said she is sweeter than her pies. God bless this amazing woman. We will come back for sure.

Great variety of desserts! Really good fries pies and fudge. OMG! The peanut butter fudge melts in your mouth, unlike any fudge I've ever eaten before.The thing that most impressed me? It was the 16-year-old salesman behind the counter! He was very skilled in customer service and selling, professional and very friendly. He was unlike any teenager we've met before! Excellent service.The pricing was VERY high so don't come to this quaint little town and think it will be inexpensive. The fudge was worth every bite.

If you’re looking for southern hospitality - keep walking! The food is great and the fudge is the best I’ve ever had...but watching the manager (owner?) berate and condescend his employees as we were ordering was not the small town charm we were looking for. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable experience, and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. The two female employees looked incredibly embarrassed, and I felt horrible for them. The owner was also rude to me when I was simply trying to pay for our lunch. There is clearly a reason why this place was empty while there was a crowd and a wait just down the street at the cafe. I visit Bell Buckle a couple times a year and love the food at Bluebird, but I will never return to this place. Great customer service starts with great leadership! Learn how to treat your employees like human beings and train them with some respect. And if you have to correct them, don’t do it in front of customers!!

I had one of the best bacon cheeseburgers of my life! And i bought some of their orange cream & chocolate fudge...ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS! And the folks behind the counter were very accommodating. Will stop in every time I come to Bell Buckle!

I have been here a few times and the kids working there are so kind… but there’s a man that seems to be the manager or owner who is so incredibly rude. I witnessed him berate a little boy for no reason.It was so uncomfortable to watch there were a few other people there as well, and the staff as well looked uncomfortable. Idk if I’d go back after that.

This little shop is a great place to stop for the best ice cream in the area, liberty ice cream is the only thing I’ve found in Middle Tennessee that compares to Oklahoma’s Braum’s ice cream!! And they serve BLT’s with fried green tomatoes as well as fried apple pies!! Then after you fill up the town of Bell Buckle is perfect to walk off the calories while shopping in the cute antique shops. You don’t even have to get back in your car, it’s all down one long sidewalk.

Stopped into Bluebird Antiques for a hamburger and RC Cola. The younger boy working the counter/ice cream was very friendly and polite while taking orders. We had a dog, but they were very accommodating and had no problems serving us outside and even put out a bowl of water by the door. The food, although simple, was cooked perfectly. There's lots of fun antiques and gifts to look at/purchase. I'll be sure to stop by again in the future.

I love the Blue Bird!!! It completes Bell Buckle with it's feel. Mama Phillips makes everyone feel so welcomed and makes the most wonderful hand fried pies. And the fried green tomato cheese burgers are AMAZING!!!

It is everything to love about a small town .. great food, fantastic ice cream, but even better, it has just the best folks! Owners, staff .. doesn't matter. These people are always helpful, always smiling, and always happy to see you!

Get ready for authentic experience with the past. This has got to be the best antique shop I have EVER been to. I'm not one to got to antique shops but when I came to this was I was floored at what I saw. The owner provides a fantastic overview of its history and is a wealth of information. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit considering that people from across the world have been to this place.

Owner was incredibly rude. Had cheerily offered to help us with whatever we had questions about until I actually asked to look at an item that was behind a counter in a box. He essentially just dismissed my interest saying that there were older versions of what I was looking at in a store further down the street. He then went onto other tasks and when he asked if we were ready to check out I asked about the item again. He snapped at me stating that it was going to take him 30 minutes to move everything and that he had a catering order he was working on. I really was in disbelief at his attitude. If you're not interested in helping your customers maybe you should rethink having a store.

A unique combination ice cream parlor and antique shop. Although the ice cream served is a commercial brand, eating it in this location makes it taste better. Between the old counter-top, quaint table and chairs, and the old-timey atmosphere, this place is worth a look even if you're on a diet.

Omg...if you've never been there u should go. Miss Nancy is AMAZING and her homemade fried pies are the BEST. Also try her fried green tomato gouda cheese burger. Fabulous.
