Will have to say this place is all of what I heard it to be. Call in to get a table, as this place will have a wait.Super friendly folks working there. The pulled pork platter was flavorful. Not too much smokiness but juicy. The pinto beans, green beans and corn casserole were great. My wife had the chicken platter and her food was good too.Nice location too.

This is a charming historic cafe in an adorable town. A meat and 3 with additional optionsThe catfish was delicious and the creamy slaw was the best I’ve had in a long time.My hubby enjoyed the hamburger steak with pinto beans and dressing. The only thing he didn’t care for was the gravy on the dressing. Next time he will get it without gravy. The dressing was very good.

This was our first time eating at the Bell Buckle Cafe. It is a quaint little place. It definitely gives you that at home feeling. As soon as we walked in the door, you smelled the food. It reminded me of my grandma's house for Sunday dinner.My husband had the baked chicken breast with stuffing and gravy, mac and cheese, and fried okra. He said that the chicken was a little dry but ok. The stuffing was really thick and stuck to the roof of your mouth. The mac and cheese was different. It had a smoky taste, the okra was good and crispy.I had the smother pork chops with lima beans and fried okra. The pork chops were really good, the lima beans were seasoned well, and the okra was perfect.For dessert, we had the Grit fried cake with strawberries and cool whip. I was skeptical, but that dessert was amazing.We also got the peach cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. The cobbler was room temperature and didn't have much flavor.It was pretty crowded, too.We may or may not try it again, but it definitely is a cozy little gem.

had such a wonderful lunch here to celebrate my little brother's birthday!! if you can, try to get a reservation beforehand, or you'll expect an hour+ wait! the food was yummy and hot as always, and the waitresses & staff were amazing and very kind!!! i've ate here multiple times since i was a child, and will definitely be back here again. well worth your time & money. don't forget to grab you a moon pie or a slice of fudge pie w/ ice cream (my favorite) on your way out.

The food is always great. My favorite is the chicken pot pie on puff pastry, and they make a great burger, too. They have some of the best restaurant Mac and cheese I've ever had, too. I had never heard of carrot souflee before, but now it's an obsession. We also love the corn nuggets from the appetizer menu.The staff is always friendly and prompt - they never leave us with empty drinks or sitting and waiting ages for the check.It's kid friendly, homey, clean, and just All all around fun place to visit when you go to Bell Buckle. We love it there, and we ALWAYS go in when we make the drive over! It's worth every moment of the 45 minutes!

We had a really nice lunch with a very large group. We loved the food (country fried steak, grilled pork chops, apple and blackberry cobbler), but most of all we were so incredibly impressed with the service. Our server (I think her name was Nayah? - so sorry if I got it wrong) was amazing! She was on top of everything. This was a group of more than 50 people and some of us were a bit high maintenance 😃. Our server kept a smile during the entire 2 hours. There were other amazing servers but she was great!! I highly recommend this place. It was a cute little gem in Tennessee.

Great MC ride destination. I have been here several times and the food is always fantastic. Several choice on meats and vegetables. A good selection desserts. Apple peach or blackberry cobblers. Ask for the dessert special for the day. The place is usually crowded on weekends so be prepared to wait. I usually call when I am about 1 hour away and get added to the waitlist.

This is a great place for good homestyle cooking! The food was delicious and we had great friendly service. I especially loved the meatloaf (very favorable.) We have heard and read about it for some time. We just never made it down there, but it was definitely worth the drive to Bell Buckle. We will 100% be coming back and much sooner than it took for our first visit!

I love this little restaurant. The furst time I came, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast, really not expecting much. It was very delicious however! I ordered it again on my most recent visit. Bell Buckle makes a fabulous day trip and this cafe is the perfect place for lunch. Everything we ate was delicious. My favorite sides are the fried okra, fries and broccoli salad! Staff is friendly. We did not have reservations on a Wednesday and had no issues getting a table. I'm not sure if they accept reservations or not. I believe they used to have live music on the weekends in the summer. Not sure if they still do that.

Been eating here for years. If you are ever needing a pit stop between Chattanooga and Nashville, this is you spot. Today we stop for lunch and it did not disappoint. The chicken pot pit could have had more chicken rather than the potatoes but all in all it was still a good lunch. The service is great, the prices are fair and tea is sweet & cold. Be sure to check out this place out and take a trip back to Sunday dinners and a much simpler time.

Small town southern diner. Our burgers were good and the chicken pot pie was tasty. I got the carrot soufflé as a side and it was fantastic. The chicken fried steak was ok...nothing spectacular. Very friendly staff. The desserts were all very good!

Love going here! Great food & very nice people. My favorite is the meatloaf & red beans & rice. For dessert a must try is the grits cake with strawberries,whip cream & ice cream.The fruit tea is delicious , grilled chicken and roast beef must try!

Wow. Just happened on this place and so glad I did. Much larger on the inside than looks from the outside. Had the meatloaf and red beans rice. Excellent just excellent. Also had roasted chicken with dressing and the corn bread dressing was comfort food at its best. Not a long wait. Staff was great. Charming place. Check it out.

I ordered the catfish filet with three sides. I chose macaroni salad, green beans, and fried okra. You can choose roll or cornbread, so I chose cornbread, which comes as a pancake. I ordered hot tea, and they asked if I wanted honey and lemon, which I did. Later, they brought a fresh cup of hot tea and more lemon and honey. The service and food were good, the prices very moderate and the portions generous.
