On November 9th I went to this Dollar General with two of my friends to buy drinks. We went to the 2 liters and saw they had a deal, 2 for 2.50. So we thought that if we got two drinks plus another two of the 2 liters, the price might stack up and get the deal for all. We went to go check out at the self check out, and we scanned the drinks and noticed the prices didn't stack. So we asked an employee about it and she got the Manager for us. We asked if we got 2 for 2.50 and stack the deal with two more 2 liters for another 2 for 2.50. We could get it for cheaper. She told us they didn't, even though it didn't say nothing about not stacking deals. But we understood and my friends told her to take out the other 2 liters, and she was getting a bit rude about the whole deal and we showed her the deal tag. Me and my friend talked about the situation of the price, and the Manager looked up at us and told us to stop arguing about it and it was making her work harder. Which caught me by surprise not expecting to be treated so badly by a Manager over a price.I will not be returning anytime soon knowing being treated so horribly!

I copied my friend's review you may read it down below, being I was one of the friends in his review, all and all the "boss" lady was very rude, and not helpful... As a person that has be to stores all over the world, this has been the worse out of all of them. (USA, Mexico, Germany.)- My friend's review.I went to buy some Barq's and Mellow Yellow. They had "2 for $2.50" on the shelf strip (I verified that I was looking at the correct item). I went up to self-checkout, rang up my soda and it didn't ring up correctly. I asked one of the employees about the problem, and they went and got their boss (I assume). The lady asked me what the issue was and I described what I had said to the other employee. I had brought up three Barq's and one Mellow Yellow. Since the deal should stack, right? The lady just sarcastically told me no it wasn't. And I said to remove two of the sodas. I guess she took offense to that because she didn't understand what I was talking about. Me and my friends were discussing the issue and she took that as we were "arguing" with her. In the end she fixed the issue for the two sodas, but overall, this experience was far from ideal.

8/10/2023 7:30pm. Did not see a worker the entire time I was in there. Had to do self check out and pressed the button for assistance and no one came. Left without getting any help.

Went today for the first time as it just opened and it was very nice. I met the manager she was fabulous as well.The parking is a great stop to take some nice photos of the hills in front of the store. 💜

Excited to have a store close to my house but every single time I go the employees are smoking right in front of the door... wish I didn't have to walk thru smoke especially from the store employees.Edit to add we never even attempt to shop here any more cause they are always out of stock with everything and employees just goof around
