Every time I stop here during the day the employees are some of the most rude people!!! They generally seems miserable with their job!! The 3rd shift crew has always been pleasant!!! That's why I mostly pass this place up to go to Crossville!!!!

This was a well ran store for many years, but took a nose dive during Covid shutdown, and has yet to recover. They don't have food options like they once did. For the life of me, I do not understand why they do not have tongs for the donuts. They don't even offer gloves. Customers just stick their hands inside the case to grab donuts. Unsanitary. The donuts case is always dirty. The thing is, that's the one thing they have left that's good are the donuts, yet unclean and inconvenient. Do better.Overall, not a recommended stop. The selection isn't great, and it's not clean.

I am stunned by the inaction from this locations employees today while a child was trapped in a vehicle in distress.This morning the unthinkable happened. The impossible perfect storm that led to my 15 month old locking himself in the vehicle with my keys in his hand while my phone was left at home.It was a new, terrifying and humbling experience.I went in and their store phone was unable to reach my husband because his area code was out of state.I asked the employees if I could please use someone's phone to call my husband or if they would call him for me...that he was 2 miles down the road with a spare.Every single one of them said No.I had to insist, at least 4 times, for them to call the Baxter PD and they didn't even bother to use the store phone for that, they pulled their cell phones right out of their pockets.My son was outside, screaming while he had inadvertently pressed the panic button on my keys...while the employees displayed virtually zero empathy or compassion.I went outside and asked the closest vehicle with people in it to make the same call and before I could finish asking a phone was offered, and any additional assistance available....thanks to their kindness and quick action, my husband got there within minutes and my son was calming down in my arms before BPD even arrived.That couple was such a blessing and I cannot Thank them enough.I deliberately shop here and hide painted rocks here....my older children enjoy visiting and chatting with Guy when they get special slurpee's after school.I cannot understand why Ashley, Jasmine and Rhonda flat out refused to make a phone call that would have ended the nightmare ordeal as quickly as possible.Thankfully we were parked in the shade at 9am, so I did not need to break a window and scare him further (if necessary I absolutely would have)!I love the small town community of Baxter and today was rocked to my core by the indifference I experienced.

What’s the point of being open 24 hours and having semi truck fuel but cafe closes at 9pm. Sorry but not all drivers can run day light hours and not eat after 9pm. And prefer to not stop at loves or big truck stops.

I go here often when in a hurry. Coffee bar is always clean and accessible. The lunch and breakfast selections are great. The cafe is quick and easy when you make your lunch on the touchscreen. Super friendly staff.

It's a great stop for food and such, it's just a shame they have rude people working there. I'm a regular there, spend lots of money there, as I stop there everyday picking up and dropping off my fiance at work. Every time I go in and I have to use my card, I usually would type it in myself because I can't swipe it and haven't had the time to order a new one. Usually, they are polite and have no problem helping me. Today I went in off no sleep and in desperate need of coffee. The woman at the cash register was unnecessarily rude and refused to type my card in even though I've done it many times before. She obviously had something against me, might have seen me there before. I don't appreciate being treated unfairly. I hope they will get rid of all the bad apples because I will no longer be shopping there is I have to keep being denied by their rude cashiers.

I've been getting gas here EVERYDAY for a month and half and almost every time I go in ( morning and night) they have bags over the food ordering station when I ask when they will be open to get food they have the worst attitude and tell me they dont have supplies or someone didn't come in to work. Its ridiculous.On the positive note when they do have food its delicious! BUT that's if you can find it open!May 23,2021

No water on the fountain, which is annoying. But more DANGEROUS is that my hot sandwich had a metal wire about an inch long in it. Disgusting and horrible. Also it was kind of grubby and the employees were annoying, playing loud music in the bathroom and ignoring customers.

I enjoyed the people who worked in this gas station. I found them to be kind and helpful. The condition of the grounds however left much to be desired.I stopped for a coffee and thought I might wait in the grass on the side of the building while I waited to wake up a bit before driving on. Unfortunately the grass was full of trash that had not been cleaned in some time. I grabbed a bag and picked it all up, then I went inside to wash my hands and found that the rest room was not well maintained and had a very bad stench.I would have enjoyed the experience more had the owners ensured that the grounds and facilities were cared for.

Speedway's Cafe concept is nice, but staff need to work on times. Regardless, the food came out alright in the end. I'm not totally sold, but I am willing to give Speedy Cafe a few more chances if they can get the concept out to my area in North Carolina.

I call this store every week or so to see if they have an item in stock. Will is always courteous, polite, and patient with me. All of the employees I have dealt with at this store have great customer service skills.

BE AWARE: If you pay at the pump for gas they put a hold on $100.00 plus your gas. When I called concerned that my card had been hacked from the pump they informed me that typically it’s refunded within 24-48 hours. I think that’s something that should be advertised so people’s finances aren’t affected.

Check out this cheeseburger with bacon, store was clean and staff was as nice as you expect nowadays! After thoughts , make sure they heat the meat really well and melt the cheese, the press doesn’t do so well on a double burger !

It wonder how much business they lose due to shutting down their cafe every morning? Once I would like to not have to go in and turn right back out because they don't serve breakfast. I'll just have to find another speedway close to the house.

whoever is the night shift is obviously smoking in the building and the same piece of crud has been stuck on the floor of the bathroom for 3 days. i get gas here often. i livd at this exit. it started out fine. looks like its all downhill from here. love the day shift. i dont come at night but i can only imagine. too bad. back to the overcrowded love's . i guess thats why they're crowded.

Whoever said this place is fast is delusional. I've given this store chance after chance. Good gas prices, but the line is always to the door. They have at least 3 registers, but it's almost like they hate opening more than 1. Stopping here in the morning has caused me to be late to work more than once. I'm done with them

Truck drivers are only allowed to buy $200 in fuel per day, $100 at a time. Apparently I'm not the only one who had a hard time believing it, because they were so nasty about it.

Speedway is clean and the employees are always pleasant. The Baxter,TN location has a great variety of hot foods as well as snack foods and fountain drinks to choose from. This location is a win!

730 at night the close thee cafe because they have to put a truck away us truck driver. Do not get to eat what we wont 85 percent of the time i am a big speed way guy nov-6-2020 but when u tell me this that turns my head to go across the street to loves very sad i wont walk back in this speed way again mangers and all thought it was funny and the bathroom was awful
