Something is wrong with Walmarts freezers. I have been buying ice cream from them for many years and the last 4 months I’ve gotten nothing but melted and refrozen ice cream. It’s got frost on it and it’s never been opened. It’s about 1/4 lower from melting! Not doing it anymore!

I usually go to Athens Walmart due to it being bigger and has more to offer than Dayton walmart. As for a drive it's equal distance. I have found that the employees are more helpful in Athens Walmart than Dayton Walmart so I go there more oftenI noticed the last time i went that Walmart now sells Dolly Partons Duncan Hines cakes.YAY!

Every time I walk in there.. gross people with no IQ low class trailer trash. Walking dogs.. Dogs in the buggy. Enforce your policy. I have a severe allergy to dogs. I will be recording for now on. If I have a severe reaction.. God help you.

I've seen better. (Much better) trying to return an item (with a receipt) and they will treat you like a drug addict who just stole something. And inform you that THIS Walmart unlike the many others will NOT do cash back you must wait 7-10 days for it to go back on your card no exceptions. When did it become so vile to return something?? Between that and rolling eyes and attitudes if you ask questions about the process you won't enjoy your visit if you can help it keep driving up the road and check out ingles.

It has everything you need. I think the meat prices are more than other stores. And I wish they would stay open 24/7. I don't like having to check myself out. I wasn't trained for that job. But I don't want to miss something and get a shoplifting charge. I don't understand why have the employees when they just stand there unless you call them for help. We need full time check out employees. It's not my fault if something goes wrong. I wasn't trained to do that job. Get with it Wal Mart.

The app said they had a watch repair kit, called and they said they had 3. Drive 35 minutes. Went to jewelry and couldn’t find any, except some sitting next to the register. Team lead was called and she said the ones they had were for store use. I guess customers don’t matter at this Wal-Mart.

Pretty amazing considering the amount of product and area served. I have found that the more rural a Wal-Mart is, the better. In cities, they are just overwhelmed. It seems that the product quality has improved over the years. This location donates a lot of food to local food banks, and enough reason for me to support it by shopping here. I do like using the app to find the product I am looking for in the store. Also, it is super convenient to shop online and pick it up outside. Staff is fast and friendly enough.

This was basically your typical walmart, they seem to be fairly well stocked on most things however the store was a little messy people had left things laying on shelves and the staff had not yet gotten around to putting it back where it goes there was some ice cream over in the vegetables that somebody gave up on and made a better choice. I was there buying some spray for my yard a sprinkler some coffee creamer and some pine nuts. My mom got some shorts because all the other ones she has were too small for her she grew out of them. Likely for her they had4x shorts. I did have to talk to one of the associates and ask for help finding the pine nuts their app was wrong on the Isle number they told me the nuts were in however the staff member had a handy dandy handheld computer thingy, I don't understand technology, but she was very helpful.

It was VERY difficult to navigate the store due to numerous employees filling online orders; some aisles were so full of crates that 2 shopping carts couldn't pass. Additionally, many of the shelves looked like they hadn't been restocked in a while. Surely, there is a more efficient method!! After finally arriving at checkout (self-checkout, of course) I scanned and bagged all my own purchases, then I handled the payment as well. And here's the best part...I was asked to rate the service I received. While I was pleased with MY service, I felt a little weird giving myself a 5 star rating, because I realized that the "kudos" would have been misinterpreted. So, I opted out of the rating at all. I hope this helped.

I will never return back to this Walmart, even though my problem was eventually resolved. I was trying to return a USB thumb drive. They started to do the return and then the team lead decided she was going to refuse the return because the package had been opened. I left the store and looked up the Walmart corporate return policy and nowhere in the policy does it say that I cannot return this item. I went back in the store and spoke with the team lead. I asked her where it said that I couldn’t return that item and she told me that it was store policy and rudely pointed at the sign behind her. I asked her to show me where it is written that I cannot return that item, and I even offered to show her, and attempted to show her on my phone that Walmart does not say that this item is ineligible. She refused to look at the return policy and told me that it was her bosses policy. I asked her if I called corporate and they said that I could return it, would she allow me to return it and she said no because she’s already denied the return. So I told her that she was basically making up her own rules and even if corporate Walmart says that it’s OK, her rules supersede corporate return policy. She got angry and called someone on the radio. I thought she was calling backup or something and I told her I had no intent to be hostile… she then told me that she was calling her boss. Her boss, Rick was a very pleasant individual. I explained to him what was going on and he left to find the team lead that had denied my return. After about five minutes he returned, and I got my money back. He did explain that “usually” they don’t allow return of usb storage devices after they’ve been open, however Walmart corporate doesn’t list that as an exception. I know other people that have had issues with returns at this Walmart. The team lead acts as if she’s god and I don’t appreciate her attitude. She’s the team lead of CUSTOMER SERVICE, but doesn’t have any customer service skills. I didn’t mention her name because I don’t think that would be the correct thing to do, however I will not return to this Walmart specifically due to her.

I hate to say it but I hate going to Walmart. By trying to improve on service to customers they have made it harder to shop there. If you aren't moving out of the way for employees stocking shelves you are waiting on employees shopping for customers orders. Most of them are rude to in store customers. Management is never around and you can never find an employee willing to help. Sorry walmart but I'm not the only one that feels that way.

We were traveling through and stopped here to pick up a few things that we had forgotten for our trip. When we pulled in, there were 3 other campers already here, stopped for the night, so I called the store and asked if we could do so also. Tracy, who answered the phone, was so nice and said Yes, we could stay for one night if we parked down toward the lawn and garden end of the store. We went in and shopped. The store was clean, well stocked and bright, and the prices were less expensive than our store at home. The people were pleasant and friendly...all together a very good experience!

Walmart Supercenter is usually quick and efficient to pop into and get what you need. The checkout is sometimes backed up but you can see effort made to get customers through the line.Their optometry (Dr Selander) and eyeglass centers are excellent.

Pick up online orders or have delivery. Like all walmart supercenters you can groceries , games , movies, outdoor anything you desire. Guns and rifles, furniture, automotive needs and services too much to mention. Only down fall is thry seem to be getting rid of cashiers. Price of everything is up and you will likely check out and bag yourself

Worst walmart in Southeast Tennessee. Today I placed an online order only to discover that 14 items are unavailable they said orange juice, milk, eggs, lunch meat, creamer, sugar and flour are out of stock. So I called the store and nobody in the online department would answer their phone. This place is a joke amd ghetto fabulous. Never have what you want, empty shelves everywhere you look. In my opinion this is a reflection upon management. Get it together, you are shaming your community and definitely do not have it together. I've lived here almost 3 years and this place never changes

This Walmart is hit or miss when it comes to friendly, helpful employees. However that seems to be improving last few visits. The ladies that have been helping with self checkout have been super helpful and really pleasant. The customer service desk personnel has gotten alot less grumpy. However there area few not so friendly employees working in & around the various departments and those few are not helpful nor friendly. Its getting better

Most things were well stocked, found things without problems and had plenty of cashiers working lanes. Downside- employee's that are gathering orders for pickup orders should not be blocking items from customers that take the time to come in. I do not understand why so many food items are only available to order online instead of in the store when before the last 3 years happened these items were in the stores.

I was upset because I was told at one other Walmart that we had to schedule a oil change. So I called a different Walmart to schedule my oil change appointment. Then when I went to the appointment. They said they don't schedule appointments.T hey said there where 4 people ahead of me. That is no way a good way to keep customers.

Im just absolutely dumbfounded at the people you have working, in the customer service center, my girlfriend and myself went to return a pair of shoes that she bought on 1/22/24 to get a refund or store credit because she no longer needed them, we had the receipt and everything but apparently the UPC code has 1 number off and they said if we found another pair in the same size that would help, well we looked for about 30 minutes and couldn't find any, we ask the lady JANE if there are any in the back or anything like that and she acted like we we're trying to scam the store. Those were the only shoes we bought from Walmart in the past 2 months, wouldn't even give us store credit. She was very rude and refused to help figure out what was wrong. Needless to say we're done shopping at Walmart in Athens and any Walmart. You guys have really went downhill

**Not so much Walmart that I have a problem with, but I want to share because it does involve walmart.**My Fiancé and I went into the Subway inside the Athens Tennessee Walmart today, 9/24/23. We ordered our subs on the Subway app while we were in line for the Walmart checkout. So when we got to the Subway, they already had our sandwiches made. We sat down to eat and found both of our sandwiches were already cold. My fiancé's turkey sandwich was ordered to have extra mayonnaise, but there was barely a drop on it, so she had to get up and ask for a sauce cup of mayonnaise. Turns out the mayonnaise bottle was empty, so they must have just been too lazy to refill it, so, instead of getting a fresh bottle, they just sat there forever beating the bottle on the counter just to get the last little dab out. When we were sitting there eating our food, we could not help but see one of the subway managers, a blonde headed white woman, in the corner of the dinning room (right behind our table) that was all hugged up on a Walmart employee (whose name tag said Joey) He also had his hands all over her in an inappropriate manner. She was also vaping the entire time they were over there. She had let her hair down and was playing with it and didn't even wash her hands after she had re-entered the food prep/kitchen area. This grossed me out and is not something anyone wants to be forced to watch while trying to eat. She closed the entire back dining room when she saw us come in. She pulled a table and chair in front of the drink machine, blocking the walkway to the back dining room even though there were still two tables of people still back there eating. I hate to leave such a harsh review, but I just felt that there were so many things that were just completely inappropriate for the workplace, and she was definitely old enough to know better. Also, when we were eating our cookies, right as we were getting ready to leave, one of the subway employees and the previously mentioned manager comes out of the kitchen with a Walmart buggy full of garage and pushed it through the dinning room and all the way through Walmart. I bought a travel iron in clearance and tried to use it. It dies not work so I took it back and I had a copy of receipt on my phone and they refused to accept my receipt or return my money. Customer service team lead was rude and refused to help.

I don't really like the Walmarts here because they really don't have very much variety of products certain Hot Chili Peppers you can't get it's hit and miss on some products and I'm just getting tired of them acting like we're still in the pandemic on stalking items and customer service seems that Walmart is getting very lazy even taking away seating for the elderly that are waiting for family members to check out not very many cashiers anymore and definitely no greeters it's hard to get anybody to show you anything is there when it is their policy to show you not just tell I used to work for Walmart so I know

Got a $700 Cuisinart electric pellet smoker grill for $250. I cannot be any happier. This walmart was great and even helped me load it up and made sure I did not need anything while I was strapping the smoker down to my trailer.
