Amazingly clean and organized, the store brands are really good. Not just a discount grocery store, it actually has some good quality options that look like basic packging. Just try them. Also, I used to haul their products from warehouse to store. The warehouses I went in were some of the cleanest and most organized wRehouses I ever encountered. Staff is nice, too.

The store is very clean and organized.The staff are so nice and helpful.Emily(2nd shift)goes above to acknowledge all customers with a smile.She also pulled money out of her own pocket to help a customer that was running short.Great customer service that's what brings people back.And prices aren't too bad either

I was in Save A Lot in Athens Tennessee yesterday and had a sugar emergency and I met a new cashier at the Athens TN store named Caroline and she was wonderful and tried to help. She was a Blessing when I needed her.Great Employee with a Big Heart and we are always pleased with the store. We shop there often.THANK YOU CAROLINE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU 🙏🙏

Look I just spent a little over 200 dollars and got 2 whole buggy's full!!!! That says it all!!! This place has Wonderful deals and prices. Very clean well set up store. We've found our new grocery store for sure!!! The employees where also very nice and professional.

Limited selection on most things, but fair prices. This particular store has always been well run and quick to check out when i have visited. Their colburn farms dairy products are a great value and quality. Their French onion dip is better than any other!

My dad loves this place. They do have a smaller variety than many stores but prices are usually good. Lines can get long though so plan ahead for it.They will slice hams for you if you ask but you have to get there before they close the meat shop at 3:30 during the weekday.

Save a lot of Athens usually has a very clean store. Their produce is usually better than a few other grocery stores around the area. Their items are priced well, and their employees are pleasant most of the time. It's a great get in and get out kind of store without all the huge supermarket nonsense.

Glad to see the new and improved Athens, TN Save-A-Lot open it's doors. This is a great little grocery store especially for quick trips to pick up a few items or as a last stop before heading home.Prices are fairly good on most items with some select items beating big box stores pricing (especially generic items).Overall a great little store.

Store had spacious isles and I found what I was looking for. Found hamburger, 20$, for ten pounds but it has a very high fat content ( it's for a 14 year old dog). The potatoes in the crates in the isleway smelled which means that they're not being stored with air circulation. I didn't check them so not a big deal but it would have been four stars because savalot is for deals and I don't have any complaints about the rest of it.

The cashiers aren't to friendly. The hamburger meat always has blood dripping out of it and if you want a bag to put it in..good luck cause there is hardly ever any. Have good prices but a lot of issues!

By far the best Save a lot I've been to. They have EVERYTHING here. Even milkbone dog biscuits! Isles are very wide, and very clean store. Never enough check out clerks. Always have to wait in long lines. Only problem.

The staff as a whole was patient and very helpful. When I could not find something I was patiently shown where it could be found. When a brand called for on a recipe was not sold tuere I was not told how something else could be substituted but also explained why. The end result was more than satisfactory.

Love the store and prices. I usually run in after work and hate seeing the line. Sometimes you just get bewildered 10 ppl working and only one line open. Most employees are great but I hate going thru the lines the cashier's hate their jobs or complain about co-worker

Since the tornado disaster, then much needed remodel, Athens Save-A-Lot had flipped a complete 180°. Great selection and low prices. At least 80% of my groceries are bought here. The only issue I have is the produce section wasn't very inviting. I could barely find a decent tomato.

Great prices,great place to go if your in a rush because the lines move fast .good prices as well .they have alot of bulk items cheap . they have baby stuff ,meats,fruits veggies,i love the deals on there canned foods

Cheap prices of you look hard enough. It can be tough finding an associate unless you go to the register or you are there late at night while they are stocking. Overall a decent place to shop and definitely beats dealing with Walmart.

Canned goods, veges etc, and dry goods are great. Produce ... questionable. Meat , especially beef is tough like jerky. Their beef comes from mexico.... who knows what it's really being fed. Probably less control on insecticides and maybe other banned chemicals going into the feed , but the US still allows for its importation due to trade agreements. Ya think?

Produce was not good. The Romain lettuce was mostly brown and wilted. They did have better prices on chuck roast

Not much to choose from. Store has an old smell to it. Veggies don't last long once you buy them. Need fresher products

The "discount" food chain is increasing their prices almost to the point of not being able to save much by going to Save A Lot stores.
