Never been in this store and was very pleasantly surprised! This is a wonderful place to shop. Bright store with easy to navigate isles. Superb selection of choice meat and fish. Wish I had an Ingles like this one in my town!

I really love the quality, availability, and freshness of the produce, meat, cheeses, and the variety of on the go items in the hot case area, bakery, etc. Ingles often has items I may not find elsewhere or products/ingredients at the standard I want for a special occasion meal. It may cost more than some other places, but some things are just worth the extra to me. Also, the employees are friendly and happy to help.

The filithiest grocery store I have ever been to. My family and I decided to order a pizza for dinner. I found an eyelash in my dessert. There had to be close to forty dead flies laying around. Dirt was everywhere and old food no one had cleaned up. Granted, there are things that are out of control, I get that. But too many things were down right dirty.When we went to the deli counter, one guy was flirting with two girls as we waited for five minutes. It was evident the other guy lacked training and there was no management.I am so sad to write this because I have heard nothing but good things about Ingles. It was my first time and I don’t think I’ll be back.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their prices are the highest in town, but they do run some good sales. The store is very clean and organized, the staff is friendly and helpful. I give the pharmacy 5+stars, they have the lowest prices, Darin and Hannah are superb as well as the other pt staff and I trust them, it is also a good way to rack up gas points, 50 per prescription! I have used the around 8 or 9 years. I like the salad bar and the Chinese plates in the deli area, great selections for both. I have never used the pickup service so I cannot comment on that service. Ingles has some items I can't get anywhere else.

I used to love this store but recently it’s been not so good the pickles when my husband brought home we’re molded and the meat just yesterday the shaved steak was expired and the steak stir fry looked fake it’s really making question coming here anymore ingles you can do better!!!

Good grocery store, decent variety of food options. Produce is decent with some organic options. Starbucks is decent here, too. Sells beer and wine, decent selection also. Bakery does a good job, and in-house bread is good. Basically, everything you expect to see in a grocery store.

This is the best grocery store in Athens. Don't fall for the marketing hype that the other guys are cheaper either. I check several times a year - Walmart, Food City and Ingles - and every one of them is just about the same. Go product by product and they are all within $1.00 - 5.00 on the total bill.

To say that This supermarket has impressive operating standards is an understament. The actual store management and its staff were all exceptional at customer service. From the moment you walk in you are received with smiles and a friendly welcome. The produce area and florist are upfront and center and are full of fresh beautiful flowers and fresh perfectly organized produce. The salad bar was clean fresh full of a variety of item and very inviting. The gelato (Italian ice cream) was magnifico! Delicioso! You can try for free all the flavor you desire! Actually you are able to sample any item on the sandwich deli or asian station as well. There is a large diversity of products ranging from old different cultures in the produce the grocery and the Frozen areas of the supermarket. If you are unable to find an item don't hesitate to stop any of the employees as they are all friendly and ready to help you out so don't be shy! Great staff, great food, great produce, This store is truly exeptional!

Bekah in the bakery turned my biggest nightmare of dropping my sons cake on his birthday into a tiny little bump in the road I recieved a great quality cake in crunch time she deserves a raise! Thank you bekah for making today great for my family! Will be buying cakes here from now on!

Thank to the sweet produce lady that made me a fresh fruit cup , because of being allergic to honey dew she didn't have to stop doing what she was doing to just do one fresh fruit cup. It was definitely appreciated.

They have good products at decent prices. You can get in and out fairly quickly as well. You can't use cash at their self checkout, which I don't like. I am a server and tend to use cash at the store on my way home from work.

It's kind of on the high side for groceries, but the store is very clean and pleasant to shop in. The have a few "extras" that not all grocery stores have like fresh flowers and a Starbucks (although I'm a regular coffee drinker). I'm a big fan of the gas credit and use that on a regular basis. Since their regular price for gas is very competitive, I can save a fair amount of money filling up there and always plan it so I can get the full 20 gallons of gas. It's also nice that they can sell beer and wine there as well. It's my wife's go-to grocery store.The one thing that I really don't like their self checkout systems. You have to do everything exactly right or it balks and makes you get help. Tried to help my wife once by bagging and moving items to a cart but the system complained about everything. I don't have the same problem with self checkouts at other stores.

Rude and obnoxious, only one cashier in store with line of 6 or more. Had to use selfcheck out, very confusing tells you move to baggage area then price check with manager and he states you didn't pay for this, I said I guess that's why you came over here because the machine wouldn't ring the item. Not shopping there anymore, not the first time employees are condensing.

Good place for grocery shopping. Prices are better on most things here than at Walmart and you can use your rewards card for extra savings and get points for cheaper gas

Several items not stocked (coffee creamers, stew seasoning packs, salmon and no one at the fish counter for help) couldn't get help at the deli, not enough cashiers running registers and self checkout (I don't work for you, don't get any employee discount) was cards only and I was paying cash. Been shopping here for many many years... been out of country for the last 2 years and was a bit shocked that change hasn't been kind to my favorite grocery store. Hopefully things get sorted and back to being the friendly helpful and stocked grocery store that they always were.

It was the time we had been into Ingles. They had alot of the things you find in a normal grocery store but then we saw better looking donuts, hot food options (Chinese food), Bakery options (that looked good) meat department ( that looked Good) and lots of sales. Everyone was really nice. We grabbed a few things we needed and I know we will be back.

We decided to get some deli meat today and were delighted to be helped by a good fella named James. He was very friendly and thorough with his sanitation. He even reminded us that we could get samples of whatever we might be considering, so we did. He even went so far as to come around the counter to hand us our sample, which was very professional. He was sure to confirm the thickness of the slice as well. Also, the young lady at the cash register, Arin, was very sweet and we had a nice conversation with her as we checked out. Ingles is all around the best grocery store in Athens.

Phenomenal selection, wonderful deli/ bakery, you will definitely find the more obscure items you seek. The store is always clean and you won't have stock blocking the isles at 10min to close. These things I LOVE! The prices are high! Meat and produce are almost double for the majority of the items. Because it's just not in my budget ,this is a store I visit on rare occasion ...

I've never left a review for a grocery store, but Andy in the meat department is so awesome. He's always attentive and helpful. I'm here once a week for the sockeye salmon, thanks to his recommendation.
