This group of people went above and beyond to provide care to our foster pups while we were transporting them from Austin, Texas to souther Illinois. Brown Dog is compassionate and caring and they went above and beyond!!!!! I cannot recommend more highly or say enough to sing their praises. Thank you guys. Puppies and Mini madeit safely to Wright Way Rescue and I was able to get a good nights sleep to be ready for the road the next day. Brown Dog is amazing!!!!

We had such a great experience boarding our two pups for the first time during the holidays. I loved that the staff kept us up to date with their care, sending text confirmations of scheduled services during their stay. They even may note of our potential early arrival and called to confirm the day of so that they could provide our dogs care accordingly. I appreciate this location and will definitely be using them in the future for our pet's veterinary and lodging needs. Thank you BrownDog!

I originally called in early December wanting the cost of services. The receptionist I talked to became irritated at me and told me she would email me in between patients. I sent the email, but she never responded until I sent a follow-up email wanting a response a whole month later. I also called and left a voicemail but never received a call back. When she did email me back, I felt that she had an attitude and could've put what she said during the phone call and email a lot nicer and more considerate. She told me, "this is entirely too much for a price quote" and "front desk does not do quotes for treatment." "We do not offer 'daycare' here at the vet clinic." I've never had somebody tell me at a vet clinic that they do not give out price quotes over the phone. I do not want to pay $53 to have my pet checked out, just to be unhappy with the staff and visit. I also know that at other clinics, the front desk actually gives out price quotes for multiple services without seeing the pet as stated above. I understand that every clinic here in Memphis does not offer daycare for cats, although it seemed like this one might've. But I didn't need to be told that they do not offer "daycare." Once again, this is something she could've put in nicer terms. This clinic also does not carry Royal Canin, which is the prescription brand that my pet needs to be on. They only carry Hill's. Also from how she worded it at least, it seems like the only form of flea/tick/heartworm treatment acceptable for boarding is a capstar tablet which isn't suitable for every pet. When I originally tried to book online through their system "Yourgi" the prices listed on there were confusing or non-existent, and it kept redirecting me to download their phone app instead of letting me use the website. She also stated, "There are additional charges for administering meds and several other extras to choose from the menu," but still didn't give me those prices.

Our 13 y/o cocker has been a BDL daycare doggy since she was 12 weeks old. We were thrilled when they began providing veterinary care. Dr. Beck is so kind and provides well thought out, understandable explanations and instructions regarding Isabelle’s care. The staff is a joy to work with and It’s clear they love what they do. We’re so fortunate to have them looking after our Isabelle.

Love this place for grooming! The groomer is excellent and always takes great care of her. Experienced with ear pulling and Goldendoodle styles. She moved locations so we did, too! We haven't used the vet but love Brown Dog for boarding, too. Nice people, good experiences every time.

My dogs and I loved this place. I thought my 2 pointer dogs would be rather nervous and not have a lot of interaction with the other dogs but boy I was wrong. My older girl was very interested in watching all of the other dogs run and she stood right in the middle of the pack with her tail wagging. The reason I know this is because they had video cameras. I could watch at any time of the day to see what my girls were up to.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place for day care.

Dr Robinson is very very knowledgeable - he is caring a loves animals. He keeps up on latest technology and information and give you a compassionate and easy to understand information so you can make the best decisions for your pets. The vet techs and groomers are kind and patient. Char at the front desk is so helpful and efficient.

I can't honestly give 5 stars because I only visited to check them out, and my Sterling hasn't stayed for a visit yet. I was popped in for a surprise visit to check out their boarding services. The facility was nice and clean, even the boarding area. The dogs that were there seemed well cared for, and the staff was very friendly and informative. I love the options they offer for your pets stay. It is a little pricey compared to some. I may revise this review after my fur baby stays with them.

Wonderful staff from the moment you walk in the door. Dr Beck took exceptionally great care of my fur baby in an emergency situation. She along with her amazing techs kept me well informed of each procedure and the cost involved. You could tell everyone in there had such a love for animals. I’m recommending Dr Beck and the Brown Dog Lodge to everyone!

Pet health center is a great place for our puppy. Every time we bring her in, the vets are always kind, explain prices up front and before services (also giving me the opportunity to agree), they answer all my questions and are patient with me. They are definitely worth the price of their outstanding service

When I was checking for a vet advertising “affordable” services for front claw removal, BrownDog was mentioned. However, when I called to make an appointment and asked the cost of this service, I was advised the kitten had to be examined first and then I would be provided the “estimated” cost. I don’t believe this is good business practice, and the “estimated” cost should be available to the customer. Subsequently canceled the appointment after speaking with another veterinarian whose costs were available when I called.

I have 7 dogs and have recently decided to switch all of my fur babies to BDL vet after many years of not feeling comfortable or seen as anything but a number. This has been the best decision I could have made for my pups. The staff upfront and in the back are kind, gentle, and genuinely care for my pups and their health.I have had to Call and reschedule because of my own schedule and the staff is always so nice and accommodating and does not make me feel any guilt like other best have in the past. One of my Chihuahua Ava has glaucoma and we are working through treatment with her and Dr. Robinson. Has called just to check on her and see how she’s doing with medication and behavior wise. I would recommend Browndog Vet 10 out of 10 every time.

We started seeing Dr. Robinson in 2015 at Cloverleaf Animal Clinic when our baby girl, Chloe was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. We followed him when he moved to Pet Health Center. My husband and I can't say enough about the care and treatment Dr. Robinson gave her through renal failure, many bouts of pancreatitis and finally liver cancer. We fully believe that if it had not been for the love and care he gave her that she would not have been with us the last 3 years. If anyone is looking for a vet that will care for your pet as well as care for the owner, then Dr. Robinson is the vet your looking for. He will listen to your concerns and will even call for additional information from Specialist when needed. We lost our sweet Chloe August 24, 2018, but when the hearts heal and we get another fur baby, we will definitely be back to see him.

Having met Dr. Robinson at a pet store (shopping for treats & toys for his own dogs), it was an easy choice to move over to BrownDog when the vet practice we had been using closed. We have been very pleased with Dr. Robinson, Dr. Beck, and all the staff at BrownDog for the nearly 4 years we've been taking our dogs there. Extremely knowledgeable group and will take the time to explain any issues you're having with your pets. Extremely compassionate people. Love 'em.

I know dogs are no humans, but our pets are such good companions and they are therapy for our souls. I came home after work on Monday and found my Remie in puddles of blood. It looked like a horrific crime scene. (Can’t share the pic cause it is too graphic). She had vomited blood everywhere in her kennel.She was able to walk outside. She laid in the grass. Blood was all over her face, legs, paws; practically all over her body. I rinsed her off and she laid out in the sun and move in my neighbor’s yard when the sun left my yard. She would not move for hours. She was lethargic and very weak from losing so much blood. It took me hours to clean her kennel and the floors and garage.I cried and was unable to sleep much that night. I left the lights on in the room so I could check on her through out the night. I prayed and ask God to let her live throughout the night. When I woke up the next morning, she was still breathing 🙏🏼❤️I was not feeling well myself so I stayed home and began to google Vets since hers was unable to meet her health needs. After several searches, BrownDog Lodge Veterinary popped up. I heard of this place from a customer at the store where I purchase my dogs’ food. He suggested the lodging. I never was aware of the clinic. Let me tell you that this place is Awesome! The staff was extraordinary. They were so kind and helpful. The excellence of their medical services is 5 Stars!! Dr. Johnson was so patience and nice. He clarified every test and procedures clearly. He was genuine and transparent in discussing the procedures and their costs. He was comforting when explaining the severity of her diagnosis. After her ultrasound he sat down and thoroughly explained each image. Thank God, there was no cancer. All her organs were fine. However, since there was severe symptoms, Remie was hospitalized. Dr. Robinson thought she got into something poisonous- plant, or mushroom. They would be observing her progress and would be giving her IVs, antibiotics, and light meals. Well, the next day, Dr. Robinson called and reported that Remie had made great progress over night and I could pick her up to take her home! Wow, Dr. Robinson and his staff nursed my Remie back to life! Looking at her state at the beginning, I was skeptical about her making it the next day. I was so impressed of their excellent services, I decided to switch my pets’ Vet to Brown Dog Lodge! My sincerest thanks for preserving life back into my Remie. Even Kratos is thankful for your help! You guys are so wonderful! I am excited about being part of your family.

I had the best experience taking my dog to BrownDog Lodge. I was greeted and taken care of immediately. The groomer (Brittney) came out to go over exactly what I wanted. She also called to let me know details of my dogs services. I appreciated her for discussing with me details due to my dog being new to this facility. I will definitely be returning!
