Not sure where to start. I Dropped off two dogs I just rescued to receive baths, nail trims, annual vaccines, proheart and a spay for one the follow day. (Basically whatever they needed) At pick up neither dogs had baths, one got a nail trim, other didn’t, they lost his leash and collar, treated one for worms and not the other. They tried to send home an E-collar that was way too small as it’s suppose to be atleast an inch or two past the dog’s nose so they can’t reach the incision. Their prices are double most vet clinics and when I asked if they received their vaccines and proheart the tech said “I think so”. Ive never had an issue paying for great service, but now im concerned if they even got what i paid for. As someone who’s worked in the vet industry for over 10 years I am amazed this place is still running. Very unorganized, over priced, and staff needs major training. I will continued to travel 45 min to my regular vet before I ever step foot back into this clinic.

We bring our 3 dogs, plus our foster dogs here for vetting. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. They take such great care of our babies! Additionally, we use the pet resort side for daycare and grooming. My corgi pup, bear, absolutely loves coming to daycare. He practically jumps out of my arms each morning that we drop him off. Everyone is so sweet to him and gives him so much love and attention. Lastly, we had Brittney groom our Pekingese, jellybean, for the first time yesterday. She did such a great job! Beanie looks so fresh and clean and her coat is so evenly cut and fluffy. I will absolutely keep sending her to Brittney for grooming. Highly recommend for boarding, daycare, grooming, and vet checks!!

Our visit here was not a very good visit as it was our first choice we should have chosen Big Creek first, they kept asking about a budget our dog just got ran over can you help her we thought we were going to lose our friend and all they could worry about was if we could pay them we just wanted to know if he had internal bleeding and told them that we could pay. They coulda stitched her up and cast/splinted her arm but we had to go to #BIGCREEK to get the proper treatment...

Excellent staff. Wonderful veterinarians. We’ve seen three different vets, so far out if convenience due to sudden illness and all three have been a pleasure to interact with. This hospital is not cheap, but the quality of service and tidy presentation are worthwhile in my opinion. My fur baby is definitely going to be a long-term patient here.

Absolutely love Dr. K. She was fantastic with our Goldens. We left our other vet because our favorite vet left and decided to try somewhere new. I’m so glad we have found somewhere great that takes care of our babies.

I cannot say enough good things about the Drs and staff at Arlington Pet Hospital!!! They treated our older Golden when no one else would 3 years ago when we transferred here. Now as a military family we are leaving and the Dr’s and staff made sure our fur baby will have no issues with her paperwork in Hawaii! Dr Ali was professional compassionate and made my life so much easier. Thank you so very much. If we come back APH will be our vet of choice.

Honestly one of the best vet experiences ever. It’s a bit expensive but you can see what you’re paying for. The quality of care your babies will receive is second to none. 10/10 would recommend.

I had my first vet visit with Arlington Pet Hospital with my 8 week old border collie. I cannot say enough good things. We saw Dr. Ralph and she truly took time to answer all of my first-time-pet-owner questions, took the time to love on my puppy, talked me through all of the steps she was doing and also helped me set up a plan moving forward to best care for my Bailey! Also, every other staff member I encountered took a moment to love on her as well and I truly felt welcome! I cannot believe I am saying this, but I genuinely am excited to go back and learn more from them and feel comfortable that my new puppy will live a happy, healthy life under their care!

Well staffed front desk. Professional and friendly. Clean facility. I like that they take you promptly to the exam room and notify your veterinarian that you are there. I started going to this vet clinic in 2018 and I've have always gotten the support and help I need for my Border Collie. She had a torn ACL in 2020 and the surgery was successful. Doctors very thorough in taking care of her and keeping me posted. Three years later, now 2023. I have continued here with her annual checkups and with other concerns that sometimes occur because she is an aging pup. They send appt reminders via text so you don't forget. And annual reminders sent in advance for vaccines due. UPDATE 04/2024: Still taking my pet here. They are so attentive and very thorough for pet visits.

The most caring professionals I have ever met. It was hard to say goodbye to Jericho, but these doctors and their staff made the hurt a bit more bearable. They are truly angels for our pets.

Fantastic place. Our wonderful cat got sick and they worked him in same day. Days later when he took a turn for the worse they made room to get him in right away again. And unfortunately when he passed they were unbelievably caring to my wife and I when we were grieving. We truly felt like they cared through every step of the process.

We had previously been treated very rudely by the front desk staff and did not intend to ever go back to Arlington Pet Hospital. However, our poodle was attacked by a neighbors dog and was bleeding and could not put any weight on his rt front leg. Against my better judgement I decided no matter how rude they were before, I would put our dog's needs first and go to the closest place open for help on Sunday afternoon. I immediately regretted my decision! Once again, the front desk person (a different young lady than before) was extremely rude. It was very obvious my daughter and I were in a panic, my hand was bleeding as I had been bitten pulling our dog away from the attacking dog, we had both been crying. Still, the receptionist never showed one ounce of compassion or concern. She advised us not to even bring him in from the car until she checked with the Dr. to see if he could be seen. She came back and advised it would be $245.00 for a new patient visit, I said no problem and asked my daughter to hurry and bring him from the car. Immediately the receptionist then said " The Dr. only has 26 minutes to see you and there will be paperwork, the Dr. doesn't know if anything can be done to help because (she repeated again!) we are closing in 26 minutes and there will be paperwork!. I was floored, I assumed a vet would have enough commitment and concern to at least to lay eyes on him and recommend the closest EMERGENCY clinic. They were willing to take $245.00 and then say " oops...closing time...you have to go!" Clearly the vet on duty would not even consider possibly being delayed even a few minutes once it was CLOSING TIME. When I told the receptionist we would go and find a vet who truly cares when a pet is experiencing an emergency; she grinned from ear to ear and looked as if she were about to burst into laughter! She then called out as we were going out the door in a very "sing-song SILLY "voice WE ARE AN URGENT CARE CLINIC ". It was literally like she was giggling. The time before it was a different "young" lady and she also made it very obvious she was THOUROUGHLY ENJOYING enjoying being so rude. Making faces, rolling eyes, using a 'fake voice' and repeating IT'S OKAY" as if she were speaking to a child, knowing full well she was being purposely disrespectful. When I asked for the practice manager he came out and was equally unimpressive. He also behaved very immaturely. He hardly looked me in the eyes because he was so busy looking over my shoulder, smiling and appearing "TOO FLIRTY" in a professional setting with the receptionist in question. He was so "giddy" it was downright weird. When I explained how rude she had been to me, he kept saying " Really?, she is so sweet, she is NEVER like that!'. They were continually just smiling at one another while I was talking as is if it was so funny to them. Never mind I had started the conversation telling him I could have really used some kindness that day as I had just brought my husband home from open heart surgery and was extremely overwhelmed. The manager replied (with zero sincerity) " Awww....I am so sorry" and yet continually SMILING as if he had won the lottery and again all the while looking at the receptionist behind me. I would suggest someone other than the "giddy" male manager hire the female clerks who interact with pet owners. The 19-20 something young ladies he hired in these two instances were not appropriate choices for a "medical" environment. They both appeared "hardened and hostile". I suggest taking your pets to The Arlington Animal Hospital on Airline road. Everyone who works there is kind, patient and you can tell they love your pets. Dr. Monica is THE BEST!! For emergencies go to Pet Med Emergency Clinic at Trinity and Germantown Rd. I would not advise anyone to take their animal to Arlington Animal HOSPITAL/ Resort for any reason. This site will not allow ZERO star ratings, the one star is too generous.

Dr Hezel is wonderful. She really listens and explains well and goes the extra mile. I used to see her at the East Memphis location which is near my house. Even though she’s only in Arlington now, it’s well worth it to me to make the drive to see her because I know my two older dogs are well cared for.

Absolutely love this place. The receptionists are always friendly in person and on the phone.Dr. Hornsby is by far the best veterinarian I've ever known. Very knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. He has been there every step of the way thru my senior dogs heart problems. He doesn't sugar coat issues, he thoroughly explains every tiny detail and then explains his treatment plan. Can't say enough good things about him and his team!

We boarded our two dogs and cat at Arlington Pet Hospital in December, 2021. We were extremely pleased with the reservation process; the receptionist we spoke with was very thorough and offered us several options. Upon pick up our animals were happy, healthy and clearly received a lot of attention. We would recommend this boarding and dog day care facility to anyone. Thanks for taking such good care of our animal family!

Update: Changing from 3 to 5 stars. Management understands good customer service and always makes it right. Monday morning came and Alex, the manager, gave me a call to notify me that he had seen the review and wanted to address it. The employee was mistaken as the vials can be sold as singles and he offered a refund for the second vial I was charged for. More importantly, he addressed the poor customer service issue. I also appreciated the fact that he called instead of just responding on google. This tells you they value customer feedback and customer retention. I left the original post up for transparency but if you ever encounter an issue, just speak to the managers before taking business elsewhere.Original Post:Similar to William Craig’s review, my ONLY complaint of this place has been their occasional lack of transparency. We have taken our dogs there for years and used the resort, with mostly no issues. But multiple times we have reviewed the bill and received a shot we were not asked about. The most recent time, I discussed it with Alex afterwards and he confirmed it was given in order for them to stay the day, and they will make sure to discuss that before we make the all day appointment next time.Today, they called during the visit, since I waited in my car with my son, and asked if we wanted a new vial (not 2) of my dog’s medicine and I confirmed. At checkout, I was told you have to buy the box (2 vials), doubling the expected cost. Not a word was said about that when we called yesterday and asked when we could come in, when I walked in to drop her off or even when they called and asked if we wanted a new vial while she was there getting the shot! I was only told when I asked why the bill was double what I was expecting. When voicing my displeasure with having to buy two vials, stating they should probably provide that info on the front end, the receptionist was short and completely not understanding of how doubling the expected cost of a customer without notice may be frustrating. She actually took time to express how it is unreasonable for them to provide explanations “on every change since your last visit”, though it has only been 3-4 months since I had been there. Also, when asking to speak with the individuals in the back who actually called and asked if I wanted a new vial (WHO actually was at fault here since they put the charges in), the receptionist tone was rude, denied the request (which is fine if busy as she stated), but then did not provide an alternate solution and all around unhelpful. They could use some training in handling unhappy customers, especially when a business changes policy or prices. I requested to speak with the manager about the issue and that too was denied without helpful solution such as, “I can leave a note for him/her to call you when he/she returns.” That’s not hard.

Great facility and staff are great. Prices are a tad high, including medications. Still will go and just get meds elsewhere.Add On Review - Around March 15th, I had an extreme family emergency, and as a result, I am spending most of my time at the hospital with a family member. Arlington Pet Resort made accommodations for me even though they were full. This helped me immensely. They are great people, and I wouldn't take my furry family member anywhere else.

These people take our precious babies and treat them with love. I have never had a bad experience with Arlington pet hospital the doctors and the staff have always been extremely good. I would recommend it to everyone. One of my pets had to have surgery a couple of years ago and he was howling and that's what he does when he wants me, one of the assistants crawled in the kennel with him and laid beside him and stayed with him. It doesn't get much better than that period.

Love the staff, very friendly. We have a dog that has problems being around other dogs so they work with us to make sure the lobby is clear or put us in a room right away. They also are very loving to our dogs. It's like they know exactly what to do based on each dog's personality.
