The staff was very warm & welcoming, quite friendly & really helpful.Customers/patrons were very friendly & outgoing.It has a real feel of home!I was disappointed that there weren't bigger weighed packages of meat,in the meat case, specifically ground chuck & ground beef. I was they shipping after the meat department crew was already gone for the day.Meat prices everywhere are outrageous & sadly some of the prices here are just too much.I was happy to discover they were having a sale on breakfast sausage & name brand at that, Tennessee Pride sausage was on sale.I was also quite thrilled to find a new, larger loaf of bread from The Lewis Company.It's such a nice place to shop. You'll be treated greatly!

They have a good meat department. But prices are not good for the rest of the store. Usually go to Athens. Even though it cost more for gas, still get more for the money. Helps the ones tight on money to go to Aldis. Hard on elderly in Ardmore. Wish an Aldis would come to Ardmore.

Grew up grocery shopping here with my mom and now I go as an adult. Not the biggest selection if your a fancy cook, but perfect for my country girl cooking lol

This place has a depression ambiance. It's a liminal space portal to empty spaces that aren't escapabable. Same as the h and p gas station down the road, but less drugs.

Just moved here about two months ago and needed a few items. As I walked through the store I wasn’t just shocked at the prices I as much as I was the products! Wanted a cheesecake, it had MOLD on it, grabbed some crackers, they were outdated by MONTHS! I did buy a few things I had to have but will not buy from there anymore. That is by far the worse one I’ve been in,( sorry).

I witness the lady manager or what ever she is,, being very rude to a female cashier, that had already been clocked out, she got on to her about training another cashier to do something even though she was clocked out, so she stayed and done it... The POINT IS, YOU DON'T DO THAT IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS !! THAT WOMAN NEEDS TO CHECK HER SELF 🤬🤬,,, NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE WITNESSED THIS WOMAN BEING RUDE TO HER EMPLOYEES!!

What wonderful hometown grocery store. Great, Fresh meat selection, fresh produce, and wonderful people who work there.Cashiers are super sweet, work hard, and I will always go threw Cheyennes line. She is very polite young lady. With great sense of humor. Always pleasure shopping at this location.

Organized, clean, stocked. Their chicken parts are better, tastier larger than any other store. Not sure why...maybe they buy Japanese high resolution chickens? 😅 always someone there to help you find something. Cost savings are certain.

This store needs help....badly. the staff is nice and friendly but the store is run down and nasty. I have seen food with mold on it just sitting there and produce is usually hit or miss. I've seen other pigs and I don't know why this one can't keep up.

Going to Ardmore for lottery tickets? Stop at the Pig and check out the meat department. You can save enough on quality meat and chicken to pay for the gas spent on the drive to Ardmore and back. They have weekly specials, too.

Picture a store with no management where the staff just does whatever they like, and this is it. The teenage cashiers stand around and talk loudly about their personal business, discuss who has the biggest truck, play on their phones, etc. No one cares. Ironically, these teenagers are actually the better employees at Piggly Wiggly. The older women who work there hate life and everything in it, and they're openly rude to customers. They'll stare a hole through you if you come in within 15 minutes of store close. Totally unprofessional in every way. But year after year they get away with it. No one cares. I avoid this place if at all possible. If you must go, check the dates on your items. Much of their stock is long expired, but...you guessed it. No one cares.

In Tennessee, August was tax free for groceries. We made the drive and I was not impressed. My mom is in a wheelchair and they had no options for the handicapped (mainly scooters). She had to push the cart while I pushed her. The aisles were very small. Their prices were outrageous. If you are trying to feed a larger family don't go here. It is obviously a very old building and there is not a lot of room.

The store was stocked ok, still lots of empty shelves. That's understandable with today's problem. Only issue for me is the prices. This store isn't where I usually shop but I was in a hurry and figured since it was close I'd stop there. Once I started noticing the price I didn't get nearly as much as needed. I know I could have walked out but this place is about 3 miles my regular store is 15 miles.Update 10/02/22 :The store hasn't changed. It ok for quick items. Still keep items in their narrow isles which makes it hard to use a cart in there.

Clean store and friendly staff. Some items can be pricey. Wish they discounted the name brand chips everyday like the Dollar Market does. Usually, some good weekly sale items and in-store specials can be found here.Better overall selection of items than the discount stores in town.

Nice store. Old fashioned but clean and well stocked with good meat and veggies. Prices were great. People were nice and friendly. I'll definitely be going back. Best of all it was on my way home. Can't believe we haven't stopped before now.

Employees are rude. Always sitting on the registers talking to each other and/or playing on their phones.I always check dates now the few times I have the misfortune of shopping there because I have accidentally bought expired items. One item was 9 months out of date. When I told the woman who I assume is the manager, she could not care less.Prices are very high and there is not a lot of selection.I much prefer Dollar General Market, and even prefer driving 30+ minutes to Walmart.

One of the few grocery stores around that always has enough stock that the shelves aren't bare. I'm sure that's due to the fact that their prices are the highest in town. Even their store brand is expensive.I'm also disappointed in their employees. A group of teenagers was running the store today. Very unprofessional employees. They were all very rude as they loudly made fun of an older man that they called "funny and weird." They said he came in the store because he was "lonely, hahahah...Gah, that's, so, like, strange, ya know? Hahahaha!!" I'm pretty sure they were competing on who could be the most obnoxious.And, of course, they were talking about their friends and boyfriends.If you know a guy named Ben, tell him to run!! She thinks it's funny he likes her because she's never gonna break up with her boyfriend. Run like hell Ben!!! The universe was looking out for you today!!!If she'll make fun of a lonely, elderly person, and go behind her boyfriends back....at her job, Piggly Wiggly, no less, take the reday flagws you've been thrown, and fly 'em high as you run away!!!!

This is one of the attractions for me coming to Alabama. Great prices on all things that are pork related. Good selection of any other products and an overall nice neighborhood market. Highly recommend it

I can park close to the door. They always have my favorite soft drinks on sale. Not much stock in veggies. Meat department is very good. No seafood. They carry lots of old timey country cooking supplies and most of the popular 'modern' items. Good freezer section. Lots of Marie Callender. Usually not crowded.

Dirty and weird! The 5 for $20 deal I like though I went in there last night to pick up supper and they was running that swivel floor cleaning thing they literally had to crank it and the fumes gave me an awful headache and made me sick !!! I wish they would wait until the customers left first
