Dog Day's flea market offers a diverse selection of items available for purchase. On Sundays, a large number of vendors participate, making it the busiest day of the week. The entrance fee for buyers is incredibly low, only $1, if I'm not mistaken. If you are looking to sell items from your home or business, this establishment is an exceptional choice. The staff is exceptional and will provide assistance for all your needs. Dog Day's marketplace not only offers delicious food but also serves the best lemonade in town. You can find a wide range of items to buy, from household goods to farm animals. Bring your entire family for a delightful day in the sun and explore the numerous excellent deals available.

We were told that this is one of the biggest flea markets around. Not sure what people's idea of big is but this place was a dump and not big at all. Looks like they sell a lot of farm animals that are in poor shape as it is. Everything they sell looks like trash. I drove over an hour and a half and it was a waste. They also said over the phone that it cost $1 to park. I wouldn't pay 50 cents to park here! Do not come here unless you live in that town and are just bored and want something to do. If you live far, it's not worth driving here.

Bought Tom there 14 years ago. He is still the man of the house.

Pretty reasonable prices, especially the plants. Some areas aren't so pleasant. Yes, there are animals that are overcrowded in cages. Some areas do look like a homeless shelter. Many items are useless and are mildewed. If you want your items to be sold, for goodness sake, Clean them up or just trash them. Come early before 6am and bring a flashlight.

To all the reviewers that said it was a great place, I'd like to know where the hell you went because it wasn't Dog Day's Flea market. If you live close it may be ok if you're bored but DO NOT waste your gas or time. It's nothing but junk and over priced odds and ends. Half of the stuff was wet from being out all night and some of it was molded. There were a few actual vendors that had items but they were way over priced.. Just dirty. Also, lots of animals being sold, mostly in over crowded cages, even saw 1 duck with a broken wing and tons of roosters jam packed in crates. Sad.

Not a huge fan at all. I went to the Big Flea Market in Memphis all the time growing up and was shocked on just how trashy it was here. Waited in line over an hour to get in Labor Day weekend and was totally disappointed. The grounds needed to be cleaned up and vendors (not all) need to clean up their areas so I don't feel like I'm at a homeless camp. Some looked like they lived there year round. All animals must have shade and water. That's a lie. Definitely not enforced. Sad scene for a lot of those animals.

✨COME EARLY ON SUNDAYS ✨Bad reviews look like they may be due to not understanding when the market is bustling. I also made this mistake when I first moved here.Sunday is the best day to come here. Come early. I’d say probably 8-10 AM are the best times. ⏰Bad weather may also limit vendors occasionally. Spring is the best season to shop here. 🌸It’s what you would expect. Southerners selling their treasures and a good amount of junk! If you’re like me, you’re here because you love junk anyways. 😬👍Good selection of plants, fresh produce, saplings, animals and livestock. 🐷 🐥 🌲 🍎 🥕 Plenty of other booths with tons of other stuff as well. 👚 🚘 Reasonable prices and I’ve found that people don’t mind to bargain a little. 😊Lastly, bring $1 for parking on Sundays.

First time there, arrived at 1pm, the place was a ghost town. Maybe 6 vendors open everything else was covered and deserted. I drove an hour for produce and didn’t find anything. Very disappointing. I asked a man doing maintenance on his equipment where everyone was. He said Sunday is the best day to shop. He prefaced that by saying we should arrive early most vendors are packed up by noon or 1pm on Sunday. Not sure I will return.

Dog Day Flea Market in Ardmore, Tennessee is open on Saturday and Sunday's year round and offers a variety of goods including live stock. Bargain hunters usually start arriving at 5:00 a.m. and stay until sunset. Dog Days Flea Market sits on over 100 acres of land on an open field. The flea market actually started in the 1940's as a place where hunters would meet on Mondays to let their hunting dogs run in the woods and trade dogs; hence, the name.Over the years, the market expanded to include other things besides dogs for sale. Now you can find: miniature horses, cattle, exotic birds, rabbits, chickens, antiques, collectibles, and just plain old junk!"Parking is $1 and $2, depending on how far back in the field (and how much walking you'll end up doing!) you have to park. There is plenty of food to buy if you get hungry: ice cream, shaven ice, hot dogs, hamburgers, grill chicken, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and a full breakfast. Pets are welcomed but must be leashed. Dangerous and aggressive breeds are not allowed. You'll never know what you'll find.

I love shopping for flea market treasures, but I expect a flea market price. Everything here was way overpriced. I didn’t see any bargains.

You never know what you'll find at Dog Days. The best weekends are the 2 main Holiday weekends (Labor Day & Memorial Day) which is 4 full days from Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Vendors come from all around and set up with anything from antiques, flea market/yard sale items, tools, guns, knives and such, to chickens, goats, nursery trees, vegetables and more. It's only around $2 per car to park and free to walk and shop as long as you'd like.

Don’t waste the drive unless your passing through and want to see for yourself. It looks like a homeless community. Very few vendors. Mostly junk. Will never wast my time and gas to go back. October 1st. 2022.

Cool thing to do with the family on the weekend. I didn't think that it was the best flea market I've been to but it wasn't bad by any means. It's fun to just walk around and see all the things. Mostly junk, but that's what makes it fun trying to find something worth while. I found some old bank notes and fishing bait and a few other things for the home. There are a lot of decoration stuff for houses and old toys. I'm sure if you went through a lot of the stuff you could find some collectables and antiques.

Lots of great stuff here, always full of vendors. Some of the Porto potty’s are locked or broken. Plan ahead for that kind of thing. Also they do charge for parking but it’s worth the $1 fee.

This flea market has just been anything you could ever want. It is like the old days. The Vendors with animals come early in the morning and leave when it starts getting hot. They also tend to only come Sunday morning early and leave by the time it starts getting hot. I went looking for vegetables and there were at least 3 to 4 vendors with vegetables. All was reasonably priced.

Dog Day Flea Market is great. It runs both Saturday and Sunday but Sunday is truly the best day. On a warm day there will be hundreds of vendors and thousands of buyers. I set up there quite a bit. I do recommend it. If you can't find what you're looking for there it doesn't exist.

$2.00 parking feeParking was weird... getting their late morning, had to go all the way to the end/upper field--made it tough walking up hill at the end of the day.Lots of booths and some really neat finds.Guns, antiques, fruits/vegetables, food, drinks. The food and drinks are on the expensive side...not a lot of options.Getting to the flea market was well off the beaten path.
