Jay Butler was recommended to us when we were in the market to purchase property in Giles County, TN. Living in Atlanta and dealing with an agent nearly 5 hours away seemed like it would be difficult, but Jay and his team made the process simple, pain-free and clear. Jay was always ready to take our call and answer our questions. When we finally got the time to sit face to face and discuss our requirements, he was one of the few agents we met who actually listened. We had a couple of property listings with us based on internet searches and Jay provided us with a handful of others, but he pointed to one, based on our discussions, of the perfect property. We drove around central TN for a day looking at properties from the road-side, and when we came across the property that Jay recommended, we knew he nailed it (we still felt this after a full day of driving and looking, which speaks volumes). Over the course of about a month, we finally decided we would make an offer on the property Jay recommended. Getting financing for raw land is not easy, but again Jay recommended a bank and it could not have gone better qualifying and obtaining the funds - with agreeable terms. We finally made an offer while on our driving vacation in Wyoming and Jay had the patience and professionalism to ensure both the sell and we were happy with the negotiation and purchase. And all this via telephone and emails. The best part however, is the post-sales relationship. Jay has helped us by providing contacts for utilities, site work, property taxes, equipment and so on. Over the past 6 months, we found that Butler Realty, and specifically Jay, have a great reputation for honesty, knowledge and building relationships. We can truthfully say we found a trusted friend and advisor that came in the form of a realtor.
