Great prices overall, good selection of essentials, and produce prices are hard to beat. This place is great for a family on a budget. I also like their emphasis on non-gmo products. One of the best places for keto options as well, surprising number of keto-friendly products. I shop here often, and recently had an issue with the new self checkouts. I asked to speak with a manager, who was very helpful and polite. The remaining cashier was also so friendly and helpful! So I'm sending a shout out to their great employees over there--keep up the great work!

Had the strangest experience here earlier today.Returned my cart (which I had been given by a man leaving as I walked up). A woman, also returning her cart, asks if I'm gonna take my quarter back.Me: Nah, I didn't pay anyway. Someone gave me the cart, figured I'd pay it forward and leave it unlocked.Her: Yes, but it's the principle of it.Me: If you're that pressed for 25 cents, you're more than welcome to lock the cart and take the quarter.Her: I don't need the money! Like I said, it's the principle! And if someone can't afford a quarter to get a cart, they don't deserve it.Me: Lady, it's a quarter. I think it'll be ok.Her: You don't get it, do you? This is a good store. I don't want the kind of people who steal carts in here.Me: Yeah, ok 👍And I got in my car and left. I've never encountered a cart Karen in the wild! Thank you, Aldi, for not only having all the things on my list, but also giving me the opportunity to meet a crazy person in real life! If only I hadn't left my phone in my car or I could be famous on one of those meme sites now.

I travel for work for a living. I stay in long term hotels when I work. Therefore, I go to the grocery store for food 4-5x’s per week. Tonight at 6:53 PM, I was at the Aldi store #013. It’s located at 836 Louisville Rd, Alcoa, TN. 37701. As I was shopping there was a bearded man in non-work clothes standing at the double door to the back room area for that store. He was looking at me off and on and when I walked past him he was talking to an older woman that works for Aldi with a work shirt on. As I walked by I turned around quick and looked back at him. He was nodding for the female worker to look at me, so she did. They realized I was looking at them. They stopped talking and looked away. I asked him “what’s up?” He said “nothing”. As I went to check out he went all the way in the back room with the female worker. I asked separate female worker up front if that bearded man worked there. She said “sometimes”. I told her what happened and she said she would talk to him. I said I’m emailing corporate. I felt embarrassed, judged and super uncomfortable. Guess where I will NOT shop now? Yup, Aldi. Why does your corporate office allow such culture.? Why are off duty or “sometimes” employees allowed to loiter in the store and do such careless and small minded things? I’m super uncomfortable and disappointed like you would not believe.

Never been before today but I was satisfied and will be going back.Produce is all I bought because it was all I neededA lot of verity in produceLower prices than Walmart on all produceProduce I saw was freshCrowded, well pretty busy. Not crowded but I had to say excuse me a lot and move out the way a lot.Employees were very nice.From what I noticed they were clean and organizedGotta have a quarter for buggyBring your own bags

Love it. Lots of different European and Asian food items not usually found in Maryville. Check out staff are efficient and courteous. Floor staff are always stocking shelves and cleaning. Great values price wise too.

Rude employees that can’t be bothered to assist first time customers. If you enjoy dealing with incredibly rude, lazy cashiers then this is the place to shop. The store has a ridiculous system with their bagging and the employees act like it’s a chore to kindly explain things to their paying customers. They just want to rush you through the line and get your money. Certainly will not be returning!!

Never been here before. You will need a quarter to get a shopping cart. The store is laid out well. Really clean and neat. The prices are very reasonable. Bought mostly produce and a few other items. You will need to bring your own bags, as the store does not supply them. They may have a few empty boxes you can use, it not already taken. The store is not large and there is parking close in to the building.

We enjoy grocery shopping at Aldi’s because of the low prices and quality of products. They have a unique concert where all employees do all the jobs. Employees work hard, and are very helpful. This store is better managed than previous stores we have visited.

Great health food, Organic and Gluten Free items. They also carry a variety of specialty or gourmet items randomly, so it's kind of a pleasant surprise on some items you may find in there. Great prices. I love shopping here. Sometimes it's very busy, but well worth it. Remember to bring your own grocery bags or box or buy reusable from them.

Typical Aldi. Place is clean and staff is friendly.Produce is generally good, but you must check it before you buy it. Especially fruit. I've seen a rotton orange or two in a bag of good ones. Same for other similar items like blueberries and grapes.

I am an instacart shopper this store will never see my return I will never shop there again I cannot imagine being a manager or an employee and not helping a customer as much as possible within reason. The entirety of my time in the store was a disaster I asked an employee for help finding the last eight items of a 70 item order just to make sure in fulfilling my own obligation to my customer that I double checked the items to see if they were there or not with an actual employee the manager Kristen told the employee that he was not to do my shopping for me I spent 2 hours at the store. The manager ought to be ashamed of herself the staff otherwise was friendly although uncoordinated the store was ill-stocked although it was clean.

I get some things there, but not like some people that shop other stores. If I get fruit... it's only good that day yet. Once in a while nice things. Always a good price
