Today, we went to this zoo. It was an easy drive and noticeable entrance. The bathrooms are clean and cute. The animal food was not over priced. It was not expensive. There was a gift shop full of gear and rocks and candy and snacks. We got to the counter for the walk in zoo at 4:29 I know because I ran, as I’m asking for food she says they can no longer sell more. We were a party of 11 & understood they closed at five. So I say no big deal, we walk through the zoo anyways. On our way back towards the monkeys we were approached at 4:53 and asked to start exiting.Listen, I know this is a family business but we loved your place and we as paying customers should be trusted to exit when you close at 5pm.Customer service needs improvement but the place is well kept, clean and so many amazingly beautiful animals.

Guy at the booth said that a lot of people get 16 buckets of food. Right. We got 8 because we knew we'd go around twice. Easily could have gone with 6. It's nice that you can go around as many times as you want. Very diverse collection of animals, especially in the zoo. Better than some city zoos. Totally worth buying a cup of carrots to feed the giraffe. Had a great time. The second time around the ostriches were not as aggressive but be prepared.

Fun experience, but probably have no need to revisit. Highlights were the bisons and camels. Downside was more than half the time we just saw deers and llamas. If you buy animal food, make sure to NOT FEED the camels otherwise you are not going to have anything left for the rest of the tour 😂 the camels snatched the entire bucket out of my hand in less than a second.

We live 2.5 hours away. We headed out for a day trip. We got there almost at opening time. The line was about 30 minutes long at this point. We waited in line, which moved quickly. I bought $20.00 worth of feed, which was 4 or 5 bucks for $10.00. At first, I thought we had way too much food - but then... My kiddo dropped two of the plastic buckets of food in my car. I should've brought a cake pan to dump the feed in, and it would have been easier for the animals to eat. Two more buckets went to those strong camels. I'd suggest you save food for the end. Those animals do not get fed as much. We didn't do the walk through zoo and the end. We saw the sloth, and the kiddo bought a bag of stones to mine. It was such a fun experience, we'll definitely go again.

My best friend and I took our kids for a day trip during fall break since we live 3 1/2 hours away. I recommend bringing a big pan or bowl to dump the feed into because kids will drop the buckets easily. I dumped most of the feed into one and had a smaller amount in the buckets they fed the animals with. That helped when, it's very likely it'll happen as there are buckets everywhere lol, a bucket gets dropped so you don't lose all your feed. Have patience because those llamas are stubborn and will stand in front of your vehicle for as long as they please. Don't worry about cleaning your vehicle before you go because you'll need a cleaning in and out after you leave. There is a walk through part also, and the kids can get in with the baby goats. We had a blast and we will be going back. It's an amazing experience for the kiddos and the staff is super nice.

Awesome place to feed, and look at animals. Tons of routes to drive your car, and feed animals. Camels, goats, deer, ostrichs, gazelles, so on can be found on the trail. The walking zoo is great, monkeys, birds, and wallabies, can be found. Gift shop, and bathrooms can be found here too. Would recommend to a friend, and would totally come here again.

We had a great time! Hold on tight to the food buckets! Those animals are really good at taking them! So much laughter and excitement! The staff was great and very helpful too! The animals are well cared for and very friendly!

This was an awesome alternative to a zoo. You get to touch most of the animals but be aware because they are smart and will steal your feed bucket right out of your hands. They don't go for the feed in the bucket but just take the whole bucket. It was a camel for me and my wife. The walk through zoo section is also pretty cool. It's not big but a good size as to not get tired walking in the heat with kids. It also has lots of animals I haven't seen at bigger zoos.

I've been to this Safari park 2 times, and I have really enjoyed it. It's so much fun!we went there really early so we didn't wait much to enter. The whole family loved it. You get to see all different kinds of animals and feed them. The entry price and the price for the animal food is also not expensive. I really recommend this place. You'll love it!!!

We were really upset! It was a great place with a ton of animals. The kids had a blast. We arrived 2 hours before the 4:30 pm time when they no longer let people in. We were about halfway through when a staff member drove up and said at 5 we needed to get out and feed no more animals. We finally made it to the giraffes at 5 and then got yelled at by staff for stopping, with about 3 cars ahead and 8 behind, and it was the worst. My kids desperately wanted to see the giraffes!!!May 14th - review is changed. Know this: they will boot you at 5pm. They do not care if you are not even close. Response was: our time after 5 pm is not for sale.I have never been given the impression or statement like that and I have explored the country!WOW, Jon is definitely an interesting owner.

Loved loved loved!! Definitely worth it! I have 3 teenagers and 2 smaller kids always stuck on their phones, this was one thing I got all their attention too. The only thing that could’ve been better where snack stands and or vending machines. It was a little hot throughout the petting zoo area. But otherwise it was a really worth it trip to the zoo! Oh!! Watch out because the camels will take your buckets.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO. First time going here, wanted to do this for a while. We came to mid-August, during the week & it was slow. I say for a one time deal, it's great. The drive around, feeding the animals was lil of a task. The animals have done this for so long. They know what feeding time is. & can be a bit bullish & greedy. Wife & I bought 2 buckets of food. It did NOT last long. 1 camel took most of mine. & thts at the start....if they let you in. You'll see. Now, the $24 to get in is high but understandable. But this place is gonna nickel & dime ya for everything ya got. Take tht $24 entry fee. Add $3 per bucket. Gift shop? $$$$. The main attraction is really a bunch of the same animals. I wasn't too impressed there. But the coolest part was at the end. The walk around petting zoo. Lots of different animals like lemurs, monkeys, etc. This is worth the price of admission. Wife & I enjoyed ourselves! But nothing I will come back to do again.

My children and I love this place, we come every year. We live 2 in a half hours away so we always get up early on a Saturday to get there before they open, because if not, you could wait hours to get in, one time we went in the afternoon around 2pm and waited 2 hours. And the animals were not hungry anymore, so it was not as fun. But when they are hungry it is hilarious and fun.

This is the absolute best if you have not been. If your nervous about some of the animals if we rolled up the windows they just moved on to the next car. Nothing but laughs and smiles from my boys the entire time, I have a 4 year old and a 17 month old and I went alone with them. Get there when they open it took us about 4 hours to do all of it at an enjoyable pace for us. The staff was super friendly and so were the animals. They all looked healthy and happy. They have lots of room to roam. We will be back!

Wonderful day trip. Had a. Amazing time. You can spend hours looking and feeding the animals. Some will rip those food buckets right out of your hands, they know what they are doing! Definitely buy a lot more food than you think you want. The only improvement I would add is informational signs. They do sell guidebooks, and maybe the animals would destroy the signs. But if you come when they have the walk through portion open, it gets a little confusing on where to go.
