We picked up our girl Millie a week ago from Ronnie. From start to finish he made the experience an amazing one. We were adding to our family after losing our last Doberman, and Ronnie was with us every step of the way to make sure I got the girl meant for me (… uhh I mean us!!)We were so impressed with the kennel set up that Ronnie has, and it’s so apparent from every interaction with Ronnie that these dogs aren’t “a business” for him, it’s his life’s passion and they are his family. They are all clearly smitten with him, and all the dogs on site are so beautiful and well behaved. Clean, impressive facilities are certainly a great thing, but dogs who listen and respect their owner and clearly love him, that says it all.Ronnie showed us everything we’d need to know about posting since it’s our first time with cropped ears, and even after we brought her home has been available for questions along the way.Everywhere we go, we get compliments on Millie’s beauty, her amazing personality, and our vet was particularly impressed with the quality of her ear crop. Millie is the kind of puppy that makes people think puppies are easy, and I credit most, if not all, of that to the quality and care Ronnie takes in his breeding. You get what you pay for, and our girl is worth so much more than we could ever afford in this lifetime.After losing our girl, Millie has brought life back to our house and every day I think I can’t love her more, and then I do. Ronnie and Sunny Hill did that for us and we will forever be grateful.

Being honest and trustworthy are very hard traits to find in a breeder, but not at Sunny Hill Dobermans! Ronnie is a gift for a person looking for a puppy, raised as if you were there everyday watching. After watching Ronnie, you quickly realize he is the pack leader to a wonderful group of Dobermans. At one point I sat down( and never seeing Ronnie’s pack before). I was surrounded by the most loving, polite, healthy and inviting group of Dobies I have ever seen. We were given a very thorough send off bag. It included comprehensive records of all vaccinations and medications given, Food, treats, and other essentials. The facility is extremely clean. Ronnie showed us the entire facility, and invited us into his home and dog areas. He was a total open book. He also does all of the proper health testing of all sites and dams. These records are all also available on his website. After our visit to our own vet today, we wanted to share our vets comments. He was very impressed with all of our records and complimented Ronnie on his thoroughness. He also mentioned he doesn’t often see puppies with clean stool samples( ours was) and mentioned that we have a very conscientious breeder that obviously wants to do the best for all puppies. I would recommend that anybody that wants a quality European Doberman contact Ronnie.

A few weeks ago, I got my first Doberman from Ronnie and I'm so glad I did! The kennels/facility where the dogs are housed is kept very clean and tidy. He was very informative and I can tell he takes very good care of his dogs and they are all very loved. My new puppy (Cora) is already part of the family and maybe in the next year or two, I'll be contacting them again for another dog! She is an absolute sweetheart and I can tell she comes from a very good line of dogs.

The Sunny Hill Doberman Family is “Our Family”. From the moment Sonya came out of the airport, with my Mia in her arms, my heart melted. Dealing with Ronnie, Sonya and Steve was just seamless. They sent pictures, video’s and answered all my questions. Their puppies are gorgeous, all European and healthy. Sonya showed me how to post Mia’s ears and gave us a folder with EVERYTHING in it. It had her health record, the American Kennel Club application, a litter certificate, and information on toys, grooming, nails and products they suggested. I would definitely recommend this breeder and would then welcome you to “our family”.

We recently purchased our perfect little girls from Sunny Hill. And to say we are satisfied would be an understatement. Sunny Hills is amazing. I have been so impressed with the love and care he has for all of his dogs. The facility is clean. And he is always willing to take our phone calls and help answer any questions we have. Our little girl is amazing and perfect and completes our family perfectly. But I think this is all because of the time love and care your puppy gets at Sunny Hill before going home with you. Always remember, you get what you pay for, and Sunny Hill puppies are worth it!

Our experience with Ronnie has been nothing short of top-notch!From the time our pup was born, to the day we picked him up, the communication was excellent. Getting a puppy from Ronnie is one of the best decisions of my life. From the day I reached out to make a special request(Doberman with natural ears and tail!) to the day I took her home, he kept me up to speed with information and pictures of how my Kida was doing. Since then he has been a huge advocate and has been there to answer any questions I may have. He truly cares about each and every dog and puppy in his pack. He has designed his house solely with their best interest in mind, his whole life is dedicated to this breed and his customers(he calls us his Sunny Hill family). When we picked Kida up, I had a 8 hour drive ahead of me, and he made sure to wear her out before I picked her up to help me stay sane on the drive. He gives a very useful swag bag(weeks of puppy food, chews, treats, bandana) which helps make the transition easy on everyone. You can't go wrong with Ronnie.Edit 3/31/2024 - Ronnie asks so I shall deliver! Kida at 8months.

There's not enough stars to even rate. I do not say that lightly, in all the research of local breeders we decided to drive 4 hours outside of Huntsville to get our Zeus from Sunny Hill. Called Ronnie up, we spent 10 minutes talking about the dogs and what we were looking for then another 20 of just casual conversation. You are not money to Ronnie. He truly loves these dogs and gets excited just talking about them. He also, packed us a "swag bag" with all the supplies needed for starting out with our little buddy. He also, spent plenty of time in detail going through the process to post the ears. He also wants to know how the pup is doing makes sure you make it home safe with the pup and asks for updates and pics throughout the pups life.Ronnie, this review is because you deserve it man, truly. We got our Doberman from Sunny Hill a couple of days ago. The whole process from beginning to end was seamless. Ronnie is so passionate and genuinely loves what he does. He and his girlfriend work tirelessly and their facility is spotless. We were sent pictures and videos along the way of our puppy. All their dogs are well cared for and so happy.He is also very transparent with testing and you leave with an organized folder of all vet visit records, food and ear supplies, if you choose to crop. They are also very responsive answering any and all questions you may have. I cannot say enough about Sunny Hill. We will be repeat customers for sure. We picked up our baby Kaido (Kade) on Monday from Ronnie at Sunny Hill. The entire process from when we decided to get Kaido through taking him home was easy! Ronnie answered any questions we had and sent videos of our baby as he was growing up. The day we arrived Ronnie showed us where Kaido had grown up, walked us through the vaccinations he had already received, and gave us a hands-on tutorial of how to tape bubs ears. Poor guy was so tired he slept the three hours to his new home.The process and experience with Ronnie was excellent! We definitely recommend Sunny Hill if you are looking for a new baby!

We just recently purchased our new baby dobie girl with Ronnie at Sunny Hill Dobermans, and as experienced Doberman parents, I have to say, it was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. Ronnie clearly loves his Dobies and is passionate about what he does. His facilities are clean, organized, no detail is missed, and most importantly, the Dobies are loved and VERY well cared for. His property is Doberman Heaven…with some cute chickens thrown in for fun 🐔😉. Ear posting can be challenging - I know, I’ve tried it frustratingly in the past - but Ronnie’s hands on demo AND videos are the most helpful I’ve ever seen. They inspire me and give me confidence! You have a million and one questions? Ask them! Not only will Ronnie tirelessly and happily answer them all, he’ll encourage you to ask more and he’ll provide you with info you never realized you had questions about! He’s a very transparent breeder who genuinely wants you to be happy because your happiness, his reputation and the reputation of his dogs is important to him. We picked up our doberman from Ronnie's facility (pup was born from Duane's litter but Ronnie kindly drove her from Ohio to TN so it would be less of a drive for us) and he is the nicest, polite guy with a wealth of knowledge about dobermans. He taught us to properly post our dobermans ears and walked us through the entire process until we were comfortable with how to do it at home. His facility was very clean and all of his personal dobermans were so sweet and all just wanted love from us. Great experience!

We got our boy Rosso, (aka Tuffy to Ronnie) in Dec 2022 and he is from Enola x Maverick’s litter born 10/08/22. Rosso is perfect! At the time of writing this review he is 1yr and the funniest, attentive and inteligente boy. We didn’t have to do any potty training; he practically came all set from the ranch. His temperament from day 1 has been confident but cautious. Not scared just assess a situation, processes it and then proceeds. He takes to training brilliantly and loves to work. Enjoy some pictures from the past year of him growing up. We have made sure to responsibly socialize him from the moment he came and make everything a training opportunity. He is nearly perfect now in public, an invisible citizen (meaning he is well-behaved and doesn’t demand attention; just co-exists). He swims, boats, hikes, camps, goes to concerts, breweries, all stores (where allowed), patio dines, literally trained to go anywhere with us!

Ronnie takes such care of these sweet pups! today we picked up Zeus, and Ronnie went above and beyond. he provided us with a binder that has all of his medical records, training tips, and FAQ's. he also had some treats, food, and all the supplies needed for posting zeus' ears. he also made sure to take time to show us step buy step how to wrap and post zeus' ears as well. the amount of love this man has for these beautiful animals is just unmeasurable. thank you so much for this sweet boy!

I highly recommend Sunny Hill Dobermans. They are the very best. I've got several dobermans from them and you cant find anywhere else the high quality dogs that Ronnie has. Their DNA is awsome so they are well bred. Their temperament and entelligence is so amazing. Ronnie always keeps his Kennels clean and spotless. I've known him for many years and you will not find a better person. He's honest and always there to help even after purchasing a puppy. We got our Piper from Ronnie this past October (2023). She is the most perfect, beautiful, and well adjusted Dobie. I get compliments on her all the time. Ronnie is just amazing with the puppies and his entire pack. I've never seen a breeder's place so immaculate, nor a breeder take the time to make sure the puppies get out and get exercise. Ronnie's attention to the puppies and making sure they are well adjusted is just amazing. After spending time at his place and seeing everything and how well his adults behave, I can't imagine going to another breeder and buying a puppy. I'll miss the videos he sends of all the puppies before you come pick your puppy up. If there was Breeder of the Year, Ronnie would win! Check out his YouTube channel.

If you’re looking for a dobie from an amazing breeders then Sierra dobie farms and Sunnyhill dobie farms are 100% the one to go to!! Mr Ronnie at Sunnyhill dobie farms is very sweet and informative and just an all around great person!! The only draw back was we didn’t get to love on all the doggies!!
