A typical small town grocery store. Of course, not a large variety of name brands to choose from. Workers were friendly. One of the best features is the hot food counter. They have very good fried chicken and potato logs, not planks or wedges but logs. And the price is reasonable.

Food Rite is a medium-sized, small-town grocery store. The staff is friendly. It has the basics, produce, and local fare, but it's mostly processed food. It really lacks in organic and international choices. If you're looking for beer, you'll have to visit the gas station across the street. If I need something quick and common, this is where to go. Otherwise, head to the nearest Kroger.

For a small town~ it has a pretty good variety of what you need. p.s. if using credit/ debit card once machine starts beeping pull your card.. (always waiting for the 20 quest. on other machines - not needed on theirs) Store is clean, employees are friendly!!

Nice friendly store always helpful and have great prices. I was in this store recently and there was a lady in front of me checking out and she was asked do you need help with your groceries and she said no I got it. When I got through the man never asked me he just stood there and pushed the cart back to me and turned his head. I guess this was not black people day.

The deli and bakery are really good. Good selection of fresh produce, very important for me. Staff are so nice. Grateful for Food Rite, allows us shop in town.

friendly helpful staff. somethings are a little higher than I'd like but otherwise never really had a prob. any time I have, they have always fixed with no trouble. As of 4/7/19....found out they don't take new account cks. I had to open a new bank account and you know how u get those first few cks, don't waste ur time cuz they don't take them.

This is almost the only store I shop at when buying food. They have hot food everyday for lunch or dinner along with cold cuts. They have a lunch special everyday. The workers are always nice and sweet

Alamo deserves better quality food and a stronger selection. The staff is incredibly friendly though, but there is a direct correlation to the obesity rate in Alamo and the food selection at this store.
