Some who work here warn others, friends, family, about special offers, and some might steal, employees cover them up...👀🔍and also see photo of things happening at Walmart.And why do they verify the purchase receipts of some people yes and others no, if they get carried away by the customer's age or clothing or ethnicity,...and the employees don't steal? And their cash register system, isn't it good? or what? so much surveillance? Rude employees at the door... remove the cash registers that you pay for yourself...

Had what I was looking for. However... Electronics needs ppl to work in that area all the time. It's the biggest location that needs store associates to unlock cabinets or merchandise or just help customers. It is the one area where 9 out of 10 times I either wait forever for someone to come around or I have to go in search of someone. Only open till 11pm now ppl. No reason so.eo e can't be in that area all the time.

Local Walmart has been changing layout of store. Big changes so kind of difficult to find things. But maybe will improve store to better fill demands of locals.One thing I've found personally was the vinyl albums being released by about all singers. Walmart has a pretty selection.

If you like crappy food and cheap made junk then you like Walmart. I prefer quality so I don't shop Walmart. I got robbed here alot and assaulted 3 times by white men. Never trust a white person. Sick of Walmart such a boring place. We need something new and exciting!!

They don't carry all the items I like in the containers I prefer, but they carry everything else.Only 1 checkout lane open. Self checkout and online order pickup is encouraged.Good wifi, it reaches out to the front lot.Parking lot is tilted to the east so finding a level place to park overnight took some trial and error.Oh, and they had plenty of working electric carts.👍

Self checkout didn't have any staff available for correcting the machine. I had to go find someone. There were to checkers & one had to finish their line of customers before coming to my spot to swipe their magic card to make it work again. Huge time suck, huge irritation. I mean, if im going to be made to check my own stuff, there shouldn't be so many triggers that require staff help. If there are, staff should be made available.

Yankton Walmart has really improved since a year ago. I go in mornings and I noticed everything on the shelves were lined up correctly. The clothing area needs a bit if work, find it too congested with stuff. But the bakery -wow! Have you seen the cup cakes coming out of there? They have a new gal and she is doing designer work, even customized a few cakes, not just the standard stuff! But I've seen rude customers , theft becoming common and businesses cutting hours due to lack of workers. Not to mention. Walmart employees work a shift, sometimes 2 jobs, and like to go home to their families. Walmart doesn't need Yankton, Yankton needs Walmart.

Self check outs are nice if you have just a few things but I would prefer to have an employee check out my items if I have several. The 2 cash registers with employees always have a long line. The cart returns are also in inconvenient places in the parking lot if you use handicap parking. This is not just a problem at Walmart though.

The money spent here at Wal-Mart leaves our community and goes to feed the corporate giant while those employed work hard for a pittance.Most of the products come from overseas. I'd rather shop local.

Such a huge store that's always rearranging & moving things if it isn't out of stock. We still like to go to a LIVE cashier & hate self check out. Don't go there much because of the crowds, constant disorganization, & so many items out of stock.

So it’s 1-21-23 at 12:32pm and I’ve noticed that the Yankton SD Walmart has dropped to the lowest I’ve ever seen it. What I mean they are refusing to help customers when they come in and telling them that until they catch up. They had only two vehicles inside their garage area one in the oil side and one in the tire side. They told after I requested a manager to speak to them confirming this then they said well they told me well we can take you but you’re not going to get your vehicle back until around 4pm or after even though this ACC closes at 4pm lol. Bad thing is I’ve worked at this Walmart and we were never allowed to refuse customers to come in but just tell them that it might be a longer wait than normal and give them the option if they still wanted service, but go out and refuse and tell customers we are not taking any new customers because we need to catch up knowing that they only have two bays occupied. Very unprofessional and never thought I’d ever write one of these at a store I really adore and admire and plus knowing 50% of the people who work here. This really saddens me to realize that the new mentality at Walmart since 2021 has changed to worse not to the better you should be ashamed of yourself Walmart for promoting this kind of behavior and this is kind of stuff why loyal customers go other places. Because you keep employees who are destroying your credibility to your customers!Wanted to add this that a customer comes in a hour and half later gets priority over someone who makes a review like this so I don’t feel safe what I mean is they can do something to my vehicle and would never know about it. So will only deal with online orders now on and take my business somewhere else and never ever deal with the Yankton store ever again!

I hate going here but living in Yankton our choices are limited. Someitmes I can't avoid it. There have been 2 times that they were out of mobility scooters (I'm disabled) and I was more than happy to sit on a bench and wait my turn. I didn't complain at all. Both times the employees questioned my need for the scooter, stating they were meant for those who are unable to walk the store. I realize I'm young but I have degenerative disc disease and severe arthritis, as well as only one lung. I physically cannot walk the store. The manager on duty did not seem to care when I tried to speak with her about it. (Don't worry I remained call and un-Karen like)If you need help finding something, good luck. There are barely any employees to be found and when you do they often say "Well that's not my department." It's a frustrating place to shop and if you can shop elsewhere (Like Hy-Vee) I suggest doing so.
