The prices are way too high!! I priced Chex cereal and found it $1.99 cheaper in another store. That savings paid basically for the 3rd box. The receipt needs a thorough inspection after each transaction to make sure the prices are correct. Yes, I have the perks card, but I don't understand why the sale prices can't be the same for everyone instead of playing the game with the perks card-basically a gimmick! The 3 day sales are not so great either. Working weekends myself, it's hard to get there and then some items they are out of by the end of the day-yes more gimmicks to get people in the store. Sometimes they have good sales, but need to check receipt EVERY time to make sure you get sale price(s). Employees are nice. If shopping experiences would be better, would give a better rating, but just can't at this point

My favorite part of shopping at HyVee is getting friendly greetings from staff and always willing to help you with what I need. I love that their produce is good. I also love that you can eat there before shopping.

We didn’t have a good time here. We got out groceries and decided to get Wahlburgers. Teresa the person taking our meal was not nice at all. We were standing there looking at the menu and she rudely asked “What do you guys want” we did not have any time to look at the menu. When I ordered, she then quickly rushed my boyfriend and he ended up ordering something he didn’t want because she was rushing us. We paid $17, and we didn’t even want to eat this food but felt like we couldn’t even look at the menu. I won’t be coming back. The food we ordered was not worth $17, nor did it taste good at all.

Good supplement selection. The restaurant they have inside has very yummy & reasonably priced food. Arrive early or you'll wait a long time for a table.

Prices are usually higher than Walmart. Had to switch pharmacies too because they took so long filling prescriptions and even had an outside company fill them so I had to wait days to get them filled.

This place is amazing. The employees are always helpful and it seems like they're happy to be there. I'm disabled and my cart ran out of battery in the middle of the store. An employee when and got me a new one without any complaints. Another employee, (I believe her name was Grace) helped me through self-check out because I was struggling to stand while checking out. They always have great deals and their bakery items are amazing. Not to mention the ready to eat food. Seriously the best grocery store in town.

They regularely don't have a product I come there for purchase for my parents. Nearly every time the spot for it is empty but there is plenty of other products in either direction.Can't find it at Sioux City stores either, now that those would be closer to where I've moved my parents to. Bummed!

They have a good selection. The store is neatly laid out. Check out is a nightmare, however. Mostly all self checkout stations. The problem is that fruits and vegetables rarely scan correctly. Prompting the red light. Then, it seems to take forever to get help. Usually, I have to hunt someone down. Then you're usually met with an apology and statement claiming they're the only ones working. Makes perfect sense. Still a good store overall 😊 I need to give a shout out to the deli section. These guys are awesome, and they enjoy helping you.

I love this store and all of the products it carries. Great selections of meats, produce and bakery items. Coffee shop and liquor store all included plus a Starbucks all located in the store. Also has discount gas station. What more could you ask for!

Visited a friend in Aberdeen.. she brags about these sandwich ribeyes from HyVee and so on the way back to Oklahoma I saw the Hy-Vee in Yankton. Talked to the men at the meat counter and normally those are a circular sale item but they cut me some anyway and proceeded to tell me how fast and easy these are the Cook..OMG.. they were fantastic! These guys were fantastic for customer service.. happily sliced them up for me... I was impressed. I wish I had a Hy-Vee in Oklahoma. The two gentleman that waited on me and cut 6 of these tasty.. tender... flavorful ribeyes..need a raise... They are good at their job!!!!

So I'm usually a Walmart guy but Hy-Vee is closer so I've been going there well when you come through the front door there is this nice lady standing there with a bunch of different drinks you know the ones with alcohol in them that she mixed up well that's her job for what I seen but I just need to grab one or two things so I pass her up well after several trips to Hy-Vee and it now being Friday and 105° outside she's still there so I stop and see what she has these lil cough medicine cups with the best tasting bloody Mary mix that I have ever tasted in my life needless to say yep I had a really good Friday after getting the vodka and this mix from the liquor store right inside Hy-Vee and you know I've been back several times after that and haven't seen this lady since then, maybe I inspired her to be a bartender maybe.

Young blonde haired girl in the flower section was very helpful very courteous to us. We went in to pick up a couple of balloons she couldn't have been more helpful. Had a smile on her face and a very cheery attitude, which this day and age you do not get very often especially from younger kids. Please keep up the good work people are noticing thank you.

I had 2 prime ribs already prepared and cooked by Mark's department. All that was needed was a warm up. The prime ribs were the best I've ever eaten. Prepared perfectly, THANK YOU MARK AND YOUR STAFF FOR A WONDERFUL JOB FOR PREPARING A WONDERFUL MEAL. THANK YOU SIR. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Best place in town for meat and fresh vegetables. Don't do your regular shopping here. But if you want to get steak, vegetables, and a decent selection of alcohol, this is your go to for that.

Was in there after 5pm, when everyone is getting off work and wanting to take food home for dinner! Dinner time but it was like no one works in that kitchen. Had to ask the guy stocking fruit, if he could find us ( several customers waiting ) some help. And then the girl acted like we were a bother. Might be just me, but the busy hours should extra worker in them areas.
