This establishment just took me for two to three hundered dollars, I was up to around $400 and I went to the bath room, when I came back I was down to .40. I called management over and they acted like it was my fault my machine broke down. After getting into it with the manager and another associate I just asked for them to take my information and let me leave. I know I’ll never see my money from these people and it’s A lesson learned. Do not go here! This woman and another man couldn’t even retrieve the information from the machine. Ken and his people are crooks.

We love going to the Maverick steak house and having dinner and drinks on Friday nights. Staff are friendly and make sure everything is well with our dinner.

Walked in and sat down and tried to hand the dealer my ID. He got extremely offended at this because he wanted it placed on the table (I had no way of knowing this). So I placed it on the table and he continued to grill me for not starting off by putting it on the table. So I asked him to just read the card so I could play. The banker then comes up behind him and actually defends the dealer, and immediately tells me to leave and accuses me of being disrespectful and swearing at the dealer. He started swearing at me quite a bit as well. So I get up and leave and as I’m on my way out the banker calls security on me. My buddy with me said he has been playing blackjack for years and has never seen anything like that in his life.

Great hotel right in old downtown. The staff were wonderful. They were helpful and genuinely friendly.The room was beautiful. My only comment would be to upgrade the refrigerators in the room. The very small cube was not really big enough for our 4 night stay.

Sports book is bad, asked to get game over speakers and said no, then asked to get 1 game on tv which was only game on And said general manager was the only person to change tv and wouldn't get ahold of them

This was the last time I’ll spend a penny with the gold dust in deadwood. Had a staff member with hope tattooed on her back card me with attitude after I declined a drink after just sitting down and putting my players card in. I don’t need attitude from wait staff while I am trying to have a good time gambling because I don’t wish to make use of their services. I immediately cashed out and returned my players card. There are far better casinos on Main Street with wait staff that provide good service attitude free.

Really nice set up. However the machines are tight and be proud, stand proud if you hit $200 on your little $2.50 max bet. Because that’s all you’re going to hit for the next 47 days. Drinks are cold and they are generous with the alcohol. Be careful because the mixes are 99:1 on the alcohol content. Also, The light bill is paid so please enjoy your stay. 5 stars for every $1 I left with. I can’t rate -star ratings so 1 star will do.

Casino was nice. My husband and I played at the table for a couple hours after we had dinner upstairs. The dealer was extremely friendly. The only complaint was trying to get someone to serve us. I went to the bar and offered to purchase drinks. After 30 minutes he finally came to take our order. This was on a Monday night so the place was not busy. If he wasn't going across the street to hang out with his buddies I may not have been so upset. We would have also stayed longer on the table if we had been served.

Had a blast waiting on a table upstairs at the Steakhouse. In a group of 6 of us we hit jackpots on 4 different machines for around $5K The food was dang good too. Would highly recommend to anyone if you like Slots or video games. The Table games were good too just not as good as the slots

Worst service in the casinos I visited at Deadwood. Probably the only casino where you need to pay for drinks. When I paid for the drinks (didn't have change, so paid 50$ for bill of 11$), the waitress has returned the money after taking the tip without asking.The dealers at blackjack are without emotions and were not friendly.Would never visit this again.

The place was so dead, I thought I was in a morgue. No cocktail waitress the 2 hours I spent there. $10 minimum bet for black jack. Dealer had little personality. If you want business, you need to lower minimum bets and have better service. Disappointing!

After touring Historic Main Street, I went into the Gold Dust Casino for dinner at Mavericks. I played slots before going upstairs to eat and won a nice jackpot on the third machine I played. The slot attendants who paid out my jackpot were very nice. I took my money and went straight to Mavericks, where I was helped at the bar by a very kind and attentive young man. I ordered a ribeye with onions and mushrooms. It was big and tasty! I topped it off with a drink called a Hairy Buffalo, which was strong and tasty! Thank goodness I was staying the night at a local hotel. My time at the Gold Dust was definitely a memorable experience.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and was given a room right outside the lobby on the first floor. My only complaint was the noise from the street which was pretty loud. Decided to stay in Deadwood on our move across the country, thought it might be a nice quiet town. Would definitely consider it for a future bachelor party, but would suggest somewhere else for a quiet getaway.

We had such a great time in Deadwood. That Gold Dust Casino was great wish we would have had a room there. Will definitely stay there next time. Staff were very friendly helpful and nice. Will definitely go there again and refer it to all our friends!

Terrible customer service!!!! The room is clean, very small. 12 x 12? And no window. My complaint is the tv remote didnt work. Could not change the channel. The desk person gave us a different one, same thing, could not change the channel. She came to the room and told us we had to point the remote at the tv!!! ( like we didn't know that!) So she figured out we had to stand close to the tv to change the channel, the only way it worked was to stand right in front of the tv. It could not be changed sitting or laying on the bed. I asked for a different room and was denied. So 150 bucks and you had to be within 2 feet of the tv for the remote to work. There was another room. I dont understand why we couldn't change to another room. Very disappointed. Tomorrow we will be checking out and will find another hotel.
