Large selection of convenience supplies. Staff is generally very small town chatty, which is why South Dakota is so appealing to everyone except the sour folks. A great place to support the true South Dakota Workers.

Always a joy to shop here! UPDATE: Quality is going down hill...especially in the meat department...too bad - used to have the best chicken/packaging in the area.

The prices are as good as anyone's and sometimes the sales will surprise you. I'm in 18 miles away but the meats make it worth the drive. Great butcher there. You'll find head cheese fresh sausages in a great variety and the best jerky in Western South Dakota.

A real gem! The smoked meats are amazing and the grocery store is no joke. The workers are always cheerful and helpful. I really like this place and I stop by every time I come through.

At Howdy's Whitewood Plaza in come in and get what you need and everybody says howdy. The ranch was a little expensive as well as the cheese but that's to be expected being the only place around for miles. We stayed with our family in an Airbnb not too far from there I'd say about five minutes. And we are able to get all the non-alcoholic beer we can handle. A non-alcoholic beer I'll get you a buzz if you don't believe me try it out. Oh yeah they have really good breakfast sandwiches too.

Good old time family, locally owned, full line grocery store that has alittle of everything, including a variety of home made specialty meats; Buffalo, elk; sausages and jerkys. Also fresh produce at very reasonable prices.

Best (and only) place for groceries in Whitewood. The meat selection has gone downhill recently but still a lifesaver of a grocery store if you don't want to leave town.

Just like some of the other reviews. This place used to great but it's overpriced, they don't sell things they used to and are not as friendly. Sell the place back to the original owners. They knew how to run a store. Thanks for making things more expensive in town.

The employees were quite rude. This store was once locally owned and operated but now it is owned by BJ's which doesn't have the same small town friendly feel anymore. Very poor service.

Don't buy meat from here. I have bought steaks and meat from hear and they smell really badAnd I got sick once before. Please be careful
