The staff are extremely knowledgeable and are very friendly! Was able to get the shoe best fit for my workplace and at a good price. That means a lot when your a woman looking for a work boot, and there's limited selection in other places. Here, you have a lot more to work with than you get from Red Wing or Shoe Sensation.I was helped by Evan, but a few lads pitched to offer advice for the situations that I have at work. They work together with all kinds of experience and it's comforting!Would recommend going here if you aren't quite sure of the style you need or want.

Very poor costumer service. I ordered work boots off of their boot truck and never received them. I had tried to contact them thru their costumer service message asking for a tracking number 3 times and had called them. Talked to costumer service rep and asked how long it usually takes and if I could get a tracking number so I knew when to expect them, but never got an answer, they seemed in a hurry to get off the phone. I let my safety department at work know and they contacted them and had received a tracking number and a delivery receipt. It said delivered and the date was 3 days before I had called and talked to a costumer service rep. The boots have been paid for out of my paychecks. My safety guy at work has tried to resolve the issue but they stopped responding back. Very poor customer service and not satisfied with how they handle business.

I went in looking to upgrade my running shoes and had an excellent experience. Isabel was my sales person and she was very knowledgeable, so helpful and patient. She really took the time to listen what I needed in a shoe and helped answer all my questions. Very personable in her attitude toward helping others. 10/10 place to shop.

Love this place! Great store! I had not ever been to the previous location, but I heard it was very small, great products and great service! This location is big and gorgeous. Very wide open space with water and caribou coffee for customers at the entrance. Great customer service. The prices seem spot on, exactly as I'd expect. I'm a big fan! Great job, Trav's! I'll be back every time I'm in town!

We come here every so often when one of the kids wants a new pair of boots. They have great quality boots and they last so long. They have boots for men, women, and kids ranging in all prices. They also have so many other items in the store as well. Their new location is across from where Applebee's, Culver's is and is easy to get in and out of. The new building is really big and clean. They do have plastic shields up by the registers, but do not require masks. The employees do not wear masks either.

Purchased some Hey dudes that are no longer in production. I fell in love with the color online and the only store that had them in my size was Trav's and I live in California. Shipping was higher than I expected but I had to have these shoes. I'm not even upset. I received the shoes in a matter of days and in excellent condition. Would absolutely purchase from Trav's again online.

Wanted to leave a A++++ 5 star experience..i bought boots in Sept didnt last a month took them back expecting nothing to happen. Front girls called Sharon the manager to the front explained my situation she said i will take care of you. Her experience with steel toe boots got me another pair and all i had to do was pay the difference. Was super happy of the results will shop here again because of this experience!!

Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. They didn't have shoes exactly like I wanted but they offered to try to order them in (no guarantees when to get shoes with possible unexpected delays with the "new normal") but willing to show me substitutions. They showed me shoes that I will be just as satisfied with (which I purchased). They have a large selection of good quality products with competitive prices. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here to purchase some water shoes for a backpacking trip. They have a good selection of outdoor gear. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! They are also pet friendly, which is great when you’re traveling with your dog!!

I would give ten stars if I could. The store is beautifully set up, immaculately clean, with high quality products. Colin spend a good half an hour helping me find the perfect shoes for my needs. He had like professional level knowledge of his products and catered to me like I was at Saks Fifth Avenue. I would highly highly recommend shopping there and if you need amazing service ask for Colin(it's pronounced call-in). I will most definitely be back for all my apparel needs.

I had bought a pair of shoes that felt very comfortable in the store, when I purchased them they put a peace of paper in the box and when I got home and opened the box and read the instructions on the paper they had put in there. So I followed the instructions and put my new shoes on an wore them around the house for awhile and found out that they were a little bit uncomfortable, so the next morning to return them, and happy to say that there was absolutely no problem at all of making the return.A very big thank you, Trav's

My first time there. I came looking for work boots. I have issues with sore feet. I told the gentleman what I was looking for. He knew exactly what I needed. The boots are awesome! He was very patient and helpful. Great customer service. I would recommend Trav's.

Didn't have the exact boots I was looking for so they offered to order and ship them to me. My wife's boots had a size 8 and size 9 in the box - likely our mistake due to trying on. A manager drove down to Brookings to get us the other size 9. Great service! Clean new building. Huge inventory.
