We had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk, Dominick, was extremely accommodating and helpful. The room exceeded expectations. It was cleaned by Jessica, which I know because there was a nice little note left. The room was immaculately clean. It had a full kitchenette. Including a full sized microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer with an ice maker and a stove top. The water pressure in the shower was even better than my house. One of the best showers of my life. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place.

I stayed in Watertown South Dakota this weekend. I stayed at the My place hotel right off the interstate. This location is great because it's right off the interstate so if you're looking for a night stay it's great. Except for the service nobody really checks you in they're too busy going to around the corner and hanging out. Probably listening to Hollywood undead or the suicide boys. Also if you want anything from the store in the lobby good luck trying to buy it because there's nobody to service you at the store.

The room had a foul odor upon arrival, but did clear up once the AC unit was running. The kitchen drawers were empty of dishes, but there were crumbs and other debri in them. There is a placard in the room stating that the mission of the organization is not ‘just for profit but caring about humans’….yet the organization wants to nickel and dime a customer to have plates, utensils, glasses in the room. I was told this is because the rooms don’t have dishwashers, so there is no way to sanitize dishes for the next guest…..so, then when I ‘rent dishes’, how are they sanitized after the last person ‘rented’ the dishes? I’ll stay at another location that doesn’t charge for the basics in an ‘extended stay’ room.Food & drinks: Has a ‘my store’, but the prices at gas station across the street are better. Plus, items cannot be charged to room, so each ‘purchase from the store’ in the lobby has to be paid for right then.

I had never stayed at a MyPlace, always at an IHG, Hilton or Marriot. I’ve been missing out. Check in was awesome and the lady was very informative and knowledgeable about the area. My room was really nice and comfortable. On the 4th day, Housekeeping freshens up your room and are reminded a day earlier. I had to extend dude to weather and it was a breeze. It was great staying here. I highly recommend.

This place is clean, smells clean, doesn’t smell like an old hotel, rooms are nice, nothing wild but fridge and freezer, stove top, microwave and nice rooms and bathrooms.I would stay here again! We got lucky and found a nice deal and it left a good impression. Some hotels you remember for not being so great but I don’t have any complaints about this one!

What good is a kitchenette if there are no utensils, dishes, or pots? Why waste the time to put the sink and stove in? I’ve never stayed in a hotel that had a full kitchenette that didn’t have the tools to use it.Nearby activities: It is close to everything I needed during my stay. Including places to eat, since the kitchen wasn’t furnished with what it needed to be functional.

If you're going to stay anywhere in Watertown, this is the place. We had booked with another hotel that assured us that pets weren't a problem and when we arrived they told us all their pet rooms were full. 10pm, a tired wife and son ready to bed, animals that had been in the car for hours and now we have to find a new place.Luckily, we found My Place Hotel. And what a find it was. The rooms are super clean, and LARGE. Like a full kitchenette and the works. Probably one of the best hotel rooms we've stayed in. If you have a family and need the space, get a room here. Especially if you intend to stay for a weekend or longer.The staff was excellent to us as well, and helped with things above and beyond the call of duty. We'll never forget this amazing experience. Don't waste your money on other places, this is the place to stay.

We were chased off the interstate by slippery road conditions and needed a place to stay for the night. Because we have a dog, we chose My Place Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The employees were helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back again. My only complaint was with guests who couldn't seem to figure out how to open and close their room doors without slamming them.

I have practically lived at this hotel the last 3 summers and stay here 1 week per month the rest of the year. I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel! I have never had a dirty room, the staff is GREAT, the internet is fast, the location is ideal, and the rooms are very modern. The staff (front desk and house keeping) get to know their guests so well they know most of us by name, which rooms we prefer, which floors we prefer, and even which side (east or west) of the hotel we prefer to stay in. Not only do they get to know our room preferences but they are so friendly and get to know our interests and hobbies. It's like I'm coming to see friends every time I stay here.Rooms are set up great for long term stays. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your own meals and avoid going out to eat while staying. I will never stay at another hotel while in town and now I prefer to stay at other MyPlace hotels while travelling.

Great place to stay. First time staying with this chain. Was happy with the results. In town to visit family. Room was large and well kept. 2 queen beds. Kitchenette with burners, fridge and microwave. Lots of counter space with a real sink. There was a desk, recliner and even an iron and ironing board. Lobby had snacks and items to save a trip to the store. Laundry room and a friendly helpful staff. Will look into this chain again for future stays.

Our experience with the hotel was not great. We were not able to get in contact with anyone onsite while we were traveling thru weather to their location. We ended up on the side of the road in a Blizzard due to the interstate getting shut down. We spent the night on the side of the road and this property would not offer our family any kind of refund due to weather complications. Wouldn’t recommend booking with them if you can book with another property with more flexibility.

I was in town with a work crew and this hotel had everything that we needed in a nice convenient package. Great staff that helped with anything we needed, a nice laundry room and 2 minutes from Walmart. Even though some of my staff were challenging, the hotel still made sure that we were taken care of. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again if I ever make it back to Watertown.

Working in Summit South Dakota but staying at My Place Hotel in Watertown, I stayed here for about 6 months and everything was good , I had a king size bed with a recliner and a kitchenette. Staff was great and kept my room very clean. my only complaint was the internet, not the greatest internet. Always had to constantly login with my phone and my Roku.

Great place! Very clean and the staff is awesome, I only stayed one night but I'm definitely going to stay here again, my truck wouldn't start cuz of the super cold temp. Sarha, Lisa and especially Greg all jumped in to lend a hand. Great staff!Thank you guys !!!

Clean quiet room with a kitchenette. Breakfast can be purchased for $4.49 and you choose what you want at check in, take it to your room and heat it up in the convenience of your own room. Rate is reasonable-I would stay here again.

Service was fabulous! However, we were not told that we don't get housekeeping until every 4th day (until I asked) and not even offered clean towels.The kicker was I woke up this morning at 4:30am and went to the bathroom, and as I finished and my eyes adjusted, I looked up and there was a cockroach on the door frame. I froze not sure what to do since I was barefoot ... just then he jumped on the floor and scurried behind the door frame...

Very clean! The room was spotless. I brought my own cleaning supplies due to Covid and not a speck of dirt was found. Staff was welcoming, pets welcomed with a treat bag!

Really friendly staff and a very pet friendly environment. They even go so far as to provide baggies outside to clean up after your dog is done with their business. Definitely my new go to for traveling with my pups.
