We love shopping at Menards. Customer service, prices, and selection is great. We just ordered a new door for our house with a sidelight, and a glass security door. They sent a text when it arrived at the store so we would know when to pick it up. They loaded everything in our truck. Great experience.

Edit: one month later and we still have not gotten our end caps.This Menards never ceases to disappoint. It is clear a change of management is necessary for this store. We remodeled our whole house through this store and no matter which project we were on there was always some mistake or problem with every visit. When we redid the flooring we had to order thousands of dollars worth of planks and had them shipped to the store. We got an email saying that they were in and we had two weeks to come pick them up. We came about six days after receiving the email to be informed that our order had been put out on the floor because the two weeks was up. The woman who informed us was so rude and sarcastic saying she was tired of looking at them for the last two weeks so she put them away. When we showed her the email saying we still had 8 days to pick them up, she quickly changed her tune and blamed someone else for putting them away. We then put in new countertops and sinks in our bathroom. We were told the side bars would be shipped to us and we would have to pick up the countertop in about two weeks. That sounded great! But the sidebars did not come to us but instead sat in the store with no heads up given to us. We went in to pick up the countertops but there was a huge chip in the laminate that I had to point out. Whoever had damaged it clearly was too scared to own up to their mistake and so we wasted two hours of drive time and a wasted day off work to pick them up. When the countertop came back in another two weeks later the laminate was not wrapped all the way to the bottom, exposing wood and our end caps were the wrong size. We submitted two requests for assistance that went unanswered. We called the store, got transferred three times to talk to someone in the back to reorder our end caps. He said the order was resubmitted and assured us it would ship out to us. We stopped in a week later to check on the order and low and behold it was never submitted. We have wasted so much time and money here and are so frustrated with the repeated lack of quality. Many of the employees are wonderful, but the environment is clearly so toxic. Employees whom are too afraid to admit a mistake shows a clear sign of poor management. We now drive well out of our way to go to a different Menards just so we can avoid the hassle. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but this store sincerely deserves this rating.

We shop this Menards often. They always have a great selection of items, they run 11% quite often which is a huge plus, and the staff is helpful. We were able to get a lot of our doors for our new house in their clearance door section and they looked brand new! They run sales often. This store is always clean and the items are easy to find. I always plan on speding extra time here because there are so many sections my husband wants to look in and then so many I want to look in. This location currently requires masks to be worn. The only downside currently is we aren't even through Sept and there is already Christmas stuff out. We love Halloween and looking through all the decorations, but when you turn a corner to Christmas decorations, it kinda bums you out. I hate to rush the holidays!

I do enjoy my visits to Menards. 11% off rebate sales happen often. There are so many items to cover so many needs inside the store. You can never go wrong shopping there!

Today me a a couple friends needed a few things from Manards. The whole entire time we were shopping we were being profiled. There were several secret shoppers following us along with employees. We did absolutely nothing wrong the whole time we were there. I like to shop at manards at least two times a week.This was absolutely ridiculous and made me feel super uncomfortable. At check out there were more than five employees watching us leave and get into our car. I will never shop there again!

Love shopping at Menards’s! This store is organized and easy to navigate. We come here for hardware, building supplies, pet supplies, food and more. Plus you get 11% back on purchases several times throughout the year. The store is clean, great selection of items and friendly employees too.

The workers are very nice and very helpful. It was really easy to find what we needed for our new home and for our new pet cat. The only complaint is the lack of product on shelves and misplaced stock items on the wrong shelf, other then that clean and well managed. We will be coming back for more supplies for our new family home

Ordered online. It was supposed to be pulled for pick up. When arriving at the store they had 3 boards where 23 wete supposed to be in stock, nothing was pulled, several people on forklifts unwilling to help, had to argue with they over getting credited for what they didn't have, and then had to load what they did myself. Used to shop there alot. Never so dissatisfied!!!

Super friendly unloaders. Fast and efficient. Took off a star for the megalomaniac manning your guard shack. If he is supposed to be the image for your company you may want to paint a different picture. Everyone and everyone else was wonderful.

I’ll start by saying I’ve spent a lot of time and money in this store, their are a few good employees that really know their stuff but it’s really a gamble if you’ll get any help at all sometimes. My main complaints are lumber and paint, lumber is absolutely terrible you spend most of the time trying to find pieces that aren’t warped or cracked. I spent over 4000$ for a fence and while building I found panels that couldn’t even be put up due to warping and gaps in the wood. Paint department has one good employee I’ve found the rest really need some training I stopped in there just recently for some paint and the girl behind paint counter didn’t even know how to mix the paint. I find myself frustrated more than ever recently and I understand keeping employees is difficult right now, but please step up the training and quality control.-thanks

Terrible customer service, very rude employees.We purchased some sheetrock near closing time. Thinking there wouldn’t be an issue picking it up. We even asked the cashier as well if there would be someone in the warehouse to help us load our Sheetrock and she said yes there would be. We drove to the warehouse a couple minutes past closing time and a rude employee told us we couldn’t pick up our Sheetrock that we had just paid for! She said we would have to come back tomorrow and pick it up! Very lazy and unprofessional of an employee to tell a customer they can’t pick up an item they had just purchased before closing.

Went to menards looking for a cabinet to match my existing cabinets. There was a guy with an English accent that knew more about cabinets than anybody I’ve ever met. He was so good at his job, he knew the type of wood, the style, and the finish just by looking at a sample I had. That guy deserves a raise.

I have never had a bad customer service in this store until today. My grandson, who is 5, handsome change that saved.andwanted today for a toy. Hehadhismask onandwhenhetriedtogivehischange to the cashier, she loudly said "No" and said move over there(pointing to the end of the check out lane). When he tried to pay for his toy again she repeated loudly "No". My grandson was just devastated by the way she treated him.I think the management should be training their employees on how to treat customers especially children who don't understand why she wouldn't take his money and was mean to him. If anyone goes there and is treated like that report it to the manager.

Menards is one of the Midwest's best kept secrets! You've got all your home improvement areas that you'd expect from a Lowes or Home Depot but in what feels like a more spacious and clean setting (at least in this store). There's clothing, indoor furniture and a well-stocked automotive section. Menards even sells groceries! They're mostly non-perishable items but I found myself stocking up after seeing how reasonably priced everything was. The only downside is having to listen to the "you'll save big money," jingle on the sound system the whole time you're in there.. that's got to get old if you're an employee.

There were Menard's personnel at desks in the three departments I used as well as the floor. They told me where each of the items were and even out back a fork lift operator helped me find concrete countertop mix. Also all the customers and personnel wore masks. Menard's West St Paul cares about my shopping experience, I must conclude.

Bought lumber for a deck people where not helpful at all..all they did was point you in the direction of where things where at only person who was nice and helpful was the gentlemen working the gate while their where two guys messing around on the forklifts in the yard did not ask if we needed help went inside to get cement again did not get help just pointed in the direction where to go just standing around and talking each other not happy at all

I do like Menards, they have decent prices on a lot of things. You just have to know your prices because some things are very overpriced here. If you can take advantage of the rebates they have you can get some things for cheap or even free here. Just take into account it could take up to half a year to get your rebate back.

Things were messed up on our garage door. Departments need to talk to each other between ordering and shipping. What a pain lost my patience with all the stupidity and their blank looks that they had no idea what to do. Just sad no one cares anymore and their training program is missing something.

It's always a nice experience to go to Menards in watertown, SD, they always seem to be very helpful, and they have a large selection. They have a lot of hardware and supplies that helps you when renovating an Older House, that some of the other hardware stores may not have. This is a large hardware store with a HomeTown feel.

I'd give it a zero star rating if that was an option. The stupidity of their employees out weighs any savings. Go to your local lumber yard instead and get intelligent advise and quality products.
