Definitely on the pricier side but you're paying partially for convenience & experience.I was pleased to find out there was a half-size option for the famous hot beef & gravy dish! The full serving would have been way too much for me! It is a simple dish but so good!To get the 5 cent coffee just drop your nickel in box & help yourself to the self-serve coffee!I was obsessed with the ambience in one of the side rooms! The ceiling was gorgeous & was more calm compared to the other dining areas.

The place is fun. Service is great and so is the atmosphere.Buffalo burger was dry and was not very good. Tried the cheeseburger and it was also not as good and dry. Food is also expensive. Not sure what changed but I’ve had the buffalo burger here a few years ago and it tasted amazing. Sadly that’s not the case anymore.

Donuts made fresh in front of you. Excellent! We've eaten their dinner plate specials many times over a 15 year period. Roast beef plate, others, all good. Burgers, more. Cafeteria setting -- order food (like a plate special) or get food off the line (handed to you by staff). Coffee is 5 cents. YES -- 5 CENTS! Come on! If nothing else, coffee and donut can't be beat!

So I think I've found the second worse restaurant in SD.This is below dairy queen standard. The chicken sandwich was like a peice of cardboard. My son said" look dad its like school lunch" only school lunch doesn't cost $92 for 4 burgers and pie!!! The pie by the way...they need to dust these pie slices daily cuz yuk. The crust wasn't cooked and the canned filling tasted expired. Great place to visit but now my wife has diarrhea,so we probably won't be back. So I said this was the second worst...the grand prize still goes to the deadwood social club with their downright weird menue.

We had breakfast here. Dined in. Food quickly prepared and served. Was a busy weekend morning. Food cooked perfectly. Coffee and Pie is awesome!! Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly.
