Brought brand new clothing items still with tags, etc on them to consign in late July of this year per their text, which I still have. The gal looked them over at the front desk and said" these are nice, we'll put them out soon". Well late October I inquired about my clothing and they told me " We're just pricing the items brought in from July". In late November was told the same thing. Unfortunately for them Im contacting the SD attorney general's office to file a complaint for fraud/theft.

I love this store, they have a lot of very nice stuff and brand name items for a lot cheaper than they would come new. There is a ton of variety, ranging from clothing and cosmetics to furniture and dishes and lots of unique items. In my experience the employees were very nice and helpful and they had a sale going they let us know about right away. Very excited to go back!

Its clean, but the prices are high for furniture, clothes, knick knacks, toys, baby stuff. Just because it's new to me doesn't mean the price has to be new product prices. It's all used thrifted stuff!! Come on.I guess the DVDs are a fair price at $2.

Rude as they come! Horrible customer service. I am not one to usually complain as I have worked in customer service for many years and understand people can be difficult. The first thing that was said to me and my two children (6 and 4) when we walked in“ keep your kids with you!”I suggest you post it on your door or make it known you don’t want kids in your building. It was embarrassing to be spoken too in such a way in front of multiple other customers!“How do we change the world? With kindness “

When I asked the owner a question she was very snotty. I asked if I could try some shorts on and she said Yes in a very rude way. She never smiled. When I asked if a certain item was on sale she said. Well look at the color of the tag. And the price of her merchandise is totally so high. You could buy something new for the price of her used stuff. After I tried something on she said give me the item. You are putting it where it doesn’t belong. I will never shop there again.

Horrible customer service, unwelcoming even before you step foot in the store, the women with bangs and glasses glares at you for coming inside from the window. They don’t seem to care about getting business based on their lack of kindness and severe overpriced items. Even things in poor condition are expensive. I also consigned something to them a few years ago and was completely scammed but had no other options for getting rid of something on the way out of town. Honestly ruined my day with the energy.

Was having a good day until I entered this store. They have TERRIBlE costumer service. I was followed by several workers for no reason. There was one worker in particular who made me extremely uncomfortable. She was an older woman with bangs and glasses. She was staring at me and yelled at me for touching something! Watch out for her. Do not recommend.

My husband and I travel a lot for work and decided to rent instead of bringing our camper. Came here to get a few things we did get a sofa nice, clean and they even came down on the price a bit. Super nice people and even helped load it. I do think some things are a bit over priced but I er all we are happy with what we have purchased. Thank you so much 😊

I bought some wall decor and asked the employees if they could hold it for me since it wouldn't fit in my Motorcycle saddlebag. The employees told me no problem, however, when I went back to get it somw of the little ceramic beads were broken and they didn't mention it to me I only saw it when I got home.

I love this place! Found great deals including a brand new Coach purse half price for $25.00! Lots of crafting items too. Lots of things for my grandkids! Great music playing too. I wish it was bigger is my only complaint.

I found some good bargains. I'm not sure how it happened, but we ended up with a Xmas ornament, and were charged for it, and we didn't pick that out or want it. It must have already been sitting on the counter. As we were leaving I noticed the sign on the door about discounts, depending on what color sticker is on an item. We saved over $7. 😊

I was very disappointed when I decided to downsize my whole house and pass on some very nice items to this consignment store! I took loads of nice items to them with the hope of getting something for them. I had one box of really nice clean toys, like new. Nothing..... I had designer lamps, fabric measured and folded in separate zip bags, nothing.......sewing supplies and even collectibles, nothing......If you think prices are reasonable, maybe that's why!! I won't be donating to them again! I'll take to the Gospel Mission! They at least give you a receipt for taxes.

My fiancé and I just moved to South Dakota so we were looking for some furniture to suffice for a bit. We found this store and found a couch for about $300, we paid for it, took it home and once we started moving it in we noticed it was soaked in dog urine and now our whole house smells like it. They sold us an OVERPRICED USED couch SOAKED IN DOG URINE and they do no refunds. They were also very rude when we asked them questions and everything was so expensive. You’re better off going anywhere else but here.

Prices set way to high for used items. Mostly worn shoes for $10-$15 that have been worn so much the bottom tread is basically gone.Used perfume and lotions a 8oz bottle of body spray that had ¼ of it in the bottom listed at $3 when I can buy the bottle brand new for $5.Lower prices they will get better service.This place has no restroom just a Porter John/potty outside that's not very nice if you need it in the winter or a hot summer day

Extremely overpriced. 60 dollars for an old 80s couch that is worn. 50 dollars for a dresser that has mold on bottom. 129 dollars for a late 80s early 90s table and chairs. At the prices they charge for furniture you'd be better off going and buying new.

I stopped by there today to drop off about 10 totes of clothing. It was very cold and windy. The owner/manager came out back and said it was too cold, I would have to come back. I told her I would bring them inside. She said you'll have to hurry, cause if another person drives in, you'll have to leave. So I didn't even have time to put my gloves on. There was a guy, probably in his 20's, but he stayed inside. I have taken lots of things there before and very rarely get anything for them. I won't go back.

I remember when this place was reasonably priced, now it's heavily OVER priced.The family that owns the business is very nice but when they mark the price higher than the original cost of the item, something is wrong.

New to you is a Dutch auction style consignment shop. What this means is, everything is tagged with a color. Every few weeks the colors rotate. The first discount is 25%. The second discount is 50%. The third discount is 85%. You can get some really good deals if you are willing to wait. I am a guy who does not like shopping. But they have plenty of guy stuff. The staff are also very friendly.

This place has sweet deals! And great sales! It's already discount prices, and then they have a lot of stuff on sale, too. Up to 85% off I think. Inventory is always different, which is nice.

I have been a shopper and consigner at New2You for a number of years. I really appreciate these folks. They are friendly and their prices are fair. My retail therapy is shopping at New2You and I've found some great bargains over the years.

When employees don't wear masks when South Dakota is setting record covid-19 cases it does not make for a comfortable shopping experience. they already had an outbreak at the store and seemed to not care about their vulnerable clientele. Just wear a mask . It's not that hard and I was willing to drop $200 on new pillows lol. Money saved I guess.

Although they have a great selection, everything is really overpriced. As far as consigning with them, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as I gave boxes upon boxes of clothing, shoes, purses, bags, household items, prom/sweetheart dresses, new/expensive clothing (you name it) and two years later I haven’t seen a dime! After inquiring about my balance after a year of consigning these items, I didn’t even have an accumulation of 5 measly dollars. I regret consigning with them because I really thought I had a chance at recouping some of my money. Extremely disappointed.
