I have not been in the store but I ordered birthday flowers and cupcakes to be delivered to my daughter who is a student at USD. The floral department called regarding a question they had, during the conversation I mentioned I had also wanted sushi and a fruit pizza but I wasn’t able to order that online. The floral department got me in contact the other two departments and they were able to have those items delivered as well! Thank you so much to the ladies who helped me get a great surprise delivery to my daughter! It’s so much appreciated!!

Store looked great but the only reason we went in today was Chinese. Granted it's Hy Chi but the quality is not up to other locations' standards. I only bought it because my kid really wanted it. Most of it was burnt; no labels on the food; dude slopped it in the container and l had to ask (politely) for him to wipe it off but to top it off the didn't hook us up with sauce for the ragoons or give us fortune cookies. Going forward, I'll just go to sioux city for Chinese.Cheaper and better quality in south sioux.

This store has done nothing to improve itself. Now they have closed shop on seafood and there are no cashier's available. Even the so called Customer service desk is void of employees!!Products are not ordered for months and the prices are outrageous!!I will never shop this disgraceful store again!!There are no prices posted for 20% of items. Especially plants/flowers. Most look dead anyway.Salmon on sale looked liked they died weeks ago.The no actual or accurate prices on your items is a HUGE problem. I'm sick & tired of wondering what something costs!Your staff is extremely lazy!!Get it together!! Small Town laziness is NOT an excuse!

Lots of stocking problems, huge bare spots on the shelves, water and wet rags on the floor from leaking freezers, and moldy produce. The bare shelves have been going on for some time now, but my parents bought a box of strawberries yesterday and when I opened them I saw that a bunch were covered in mold. I opened them the SAME DAY too. This store use to be great, but recently it's been going down hill. Idk if it's under new management or what the deal is, but I'll just go to Walmart from now on.

If you want to be treated as family at a major grocery store in a small town- this is the place. Talk about "...where everybody knows your name!" This store that serves this little town works hard to keep those shelves full, but more important, is the value they put on customer service. Whether the staff has known you for years (hello! lol) or just met you in your first year at USD- be sure you'll always find help when you need it. Mary, Kathy, Suzanne (best sushi!) Mr. Wizard (the guy knows EVERYTHING)- take a bow...and all the helpful staff there at Vermillion HyVee, especially the crew in the meat /deli department- they have a great sense of humor, huh, Troy? LOL! 5 stars across the board!

Ordered a complete family meal days ago, got called 45min before pickup and told they can't make it. So, guess instead of prime rib, gonna just order pizza. That's garbage service and management.

The employees are usually all knowledgeable, and the customer service is mostly great. I don't like that they are becoming like Walmart with the self check outs. Would use them if i got a discount for checking and bagging my own groceries though. love the previous pharmacists, not to sure about the new ones yet.

They advertise things they don’t have on Hy-vee mealtime and then when you try to cancel you have to wait 7 business days until door dash can process a refund. No other reason to go here as the groceries are more expensive than the local wal mart

Easy to find what we need. Enough checkers that we didn't have to wait. Good meats. Great selection of packaged deli and cheeses. Nice supply of OTC health care items. Great store for our area.

My experiences with this Hy-Vee are limited to this one time as of the present. The store was in nice shape, had a good selection of products, and employees seemed to do okay in the friendliness department.It was a little short on manpower, (to be expected as of early 2022) and no joking, the first seven egg cartons I checked all had cracked, smashed, or bleeding eggs. Definitely check your eggs before checking out.Still, a fun little grocery store, and conveniently located.

Love my little, small town Hy-Vee! I always find good deals on produce and other sale items. I appreciate that they do weekly specials for certain items (such as Wellness Wednesdays for health food items). They give back to the community as well! I volunteer with the food shelf and they are constantly donating food and giving back to the local food shelf. Support companies who do things like this!

I have been stopping in here since 06. Its not too bad of a place. You have all the likable things that go along with the Hy-Vee stores in general. This is one of my favorites. They sure do have an exceptional store manager at this location. I spoke to him one time. They have good Chinese food.

I shop here a lot, and they are reasonably priced, and the fried chicken at the deli is great. The also have a mail center where you can mail packages from (if you cannot get to the post office during open hours, it works great). the people have been nice for the last two years that I have shopped there.

Charging a delivery fee & a service fee to use Doordash is ridiculous. You don't even do anything! The Dasher does all the work. Also you charge more on Doordash than you do in store. Shame on you Hyvee!TYou charge more for items and then get rid of all of your cashiers except one and expect us to check ourselves out? You're making all the wrong moves. Hope you go out of business.

Rented a Rug Doctor carpet cleaning machine from here. The people were very helpful, and very friendly. It was a pleasant experience. :) The workers are always super nice though!

Saw an employee at mealtime get screamed at and called awful names by a customer and when the employee stood up for themself, they were reprimanded by another worker. I came to get service in exchange for money, not watch people get treated like servants. Embarrassing, do better.

Every time I get a prescription fill here it takes at least an hour to get anything. They tell me give them 10 or 20 more minutes so I do and then I come back and it still another 20 mins and it’s so frustrating when you have crying kids and live 30 mins away so I can’t just go home and come back. And what’s even worse when I’m picking up a cream that I know comes already made and all they do is put the label on the box. This has happened 3 times in last month. Do not go here

Terrible service. Ordered a skillet breakfast. 40 minutes later still no food. Asked the employee what was up? Walked out. Wasn't worth my time to even wait for a refund. Lost me as a customer. In the future I will not be stepping in that store for anything.

I love our local Hy-Vee. I know that everywhere is shortage of stocks but I do get a little sad when we don't have the stuff that is on sale. Overall I think they're great!

Chinese Express quality has been declining. Today I tried it for the last time. The Sesame Chicken was raw inside and not safe to eat. The noodles floated in 3 inches grease and broth.. no refried rice in the display. I spent over $8 to only be able to eat mystery meat on a stick.. Never again...

Clean supermarket that has plenty to offer. You won't regret picking up what you need here. You'll find even more that you want. Deli, bakery and meat counter have a good selection. The deli also has an option to eat in which is nice.

After about six visits to this store, this is arguably the worst HyVee of any I have visited (the Sioux City stores are substandard as well). Service desk unstaffed, no one available in aisles for assistance (since layout of store doesn't make sense: trash bag are in one aisle and sandwich bags are in another). Most employees are indifferent to helping customers. Manager of Organics is exception. It is worth the trip to Sioux Falls to avoid the confusion, frustration and apathy the staff here exhibit.

Hy-Vee has a really fantastic health food section!! Joseph is the best! If they don't have something he will order it for me! I'm very grateful that we have this store in our little town.

This is a great small town HyVee. It's the type of local store where you can get to know everyone who works there. The chore of shopping is easier when you can have quick conversations with a very friendly staff.
