Just moved back to the area after 12 years. A pharmacist recommended Tea Vet Clinic for my allergy ridden German shepherd. I could not be more pleased with everyone here. I love our new vet and the whole staff could not be kinder. I highly recommend Tea Veterinary Clinic!!

I took my cat to get her bladder looked at to see if it was UTI or stones in the bladder. I was waiting in the room for over 30 minutes. The tech finally came in and acted like a used car salesman trying to upsell a blood work panel, which was unnecessary; when I declined, she just took my cat and walked out the door. I was not allowed to be present for the physical exam. I didn't see the veterinarian until after all the work was done.When the vet finally came in, she did not have any clue what breed my cat was, said they did not do the blood work, said she needed surgery and did not offer her any pain meds or anything. When I went to check out, the front desk gal was so rude and never answered my questions. They just told me about the dates when they had an opening for surgery, which I had to set up that day. I called Tea Clinic to cancel my appointment - Bonnie was the rudest person ever. It was like she was mad that I was going somewhere else, and when I asked her why I was charged for the pre-surgical blood work that never happened, she said she was just at the front desk today and had no idea, then put me on hold. When I asked her to transfer the x-ray and other documents they had for my cat, she rudely said, “If they want them, they have to call us.”Which made no sense when they transferred it all over to my current vet. I will not go to a clinic for my animals if they want to lie about a blood work that never happened, don’t offer my cat any pain meds when Dr. Ray said she was in pain, etc. All they look at is the $$$ they can take from people, and if the vet, Dr. Andrea Ray, had no clue of my cat's breed, why on God’s green earth do you think I would trust you with her? She is my family, not a toy! They are the rudest vet clinic I have ever seen and don’t care what you want to be done. They do what they feel and know you must pay for it. The entire staff needs to take a course on loving animals and respecting their owners. I highly recommend Sioux Falls clinics for much cheaper and better care. People have bad days, but when you are at work, don’t take it out on a customer who wants what is best for their animals!

For the second time we have not received a call back from the Veterinarian. When calling the Office the gals dont even ask for my name just assume that I am who they pull up. I was calling from my work # which is not my contact phone #. After asking her if she needed my name my pets name she then took it down. Just very very disappointed since we do like going here but considering other options now. Just very disappointing.

I went to request information about their services, one of the ladies was k8nd on answering my questions, the other younger lady, immediately got 9ver my mupoy and gave her treats without asking, my doggie ate them right away, of course... I was not able to stop her.This is a bad practice, my doggie got sick, when I called to return the unopen treats bag as they didn't sit well with my pupp, she simple said you can throw them away, not an apology for her neglect on giving her treats without my concent.Coming in the place is full of dog and cat hairs.Very dissappointing.

They are great with my pets. My dog was so anxious. Treated her so gently. I had the weekend staff. My husband goes during the week.. Always a great experience.

Giving 5/5 purely because of this sign. And also because the staff here are awesome and much more friendly than most in Sioux Falls (i’m looking at you, Sioux Nation). Wonderful place with a wonderful atmosphere that cares about the animals and the animal’s owners coming in.

This is by far the best vet I've taken my animals too. The staff is very friendly and the vet and vet techs understand my animals body language when they are uncomfortable and do not push them beyond necessary. I've had to take a couple of my dogs in several times and never had a bad experience. Great place overall.Update: Even after several years and bringing multiple dogs(we foster) Tom and his staff are still the best place for vet care.

I think it is a good place to take your pet. The doctor is very knowledgeable and explains all the different things that could be wrong with your pet and all the solutions as well. The staff is friendly too. But they charge $64 for an office call. Like I have called and made an appointment for my cat twice now and both times they charged me the $64.

We were referred to the Tea vet as our dog needed surgery. They have a traveling orthopedic vet that is available at this location. Our Cooper had a TPLO (not 100% sure of the name)surgery. The staff and Vet we saw were just amazing and cared for our Cooper as if he was there's. We don't live close, but will be going here for all our future pet needs.

I have seen Dr. Tom for over 20 years. He saved my first dog Tucker. He also helped counsel me when it was time to let go of Tucker, many years later, even though I was living in California at the time. This clinic has sent records of my dogs all over the country, because I forgot to take updated records, in an instant. During the height of Covid, we had to take our dog Sally there, and even though it was against policy, Dr. Tom let us in to say goodbye to our beloved springer and be there as she passed away. I have seen vets all over the country, but I always look forward to coming home and seeing Dr. Tom.

I have over 50 years of keeping pets in several communities. I remember any vet who refused to see my pet who needed care promptly, not emergent though. This practice is the latest of 4 vets over all that time to refuse to try to fit in an ailing pet into their schedule. When I checked online to see if they were busy, they weren't. The reason I was given?.... I hadn't been in for a couple of years because I was using a vet nearer my home who happened to be gone. I always remember vets who prioritize the schedule above the welfare of an animal in pain.

We really enjoy bringing our dog to this clinic. They take good care of him and they are open to discuss all options, without any pressure. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it is definitely worth it! You would have a hard time finding more caring professionals.

We've taken our dog here for quite a few years. We have always had wonderful service with such caring professionals. We also love to take our dog in to get groomed and she always comes home looking and smelling nice. They are so convenient and easy to work with. I know our dog is in good hands.
