Wasn't to busy with customers, but the Staff was super busy getting the new product out. Although they were intensely busy they didn't leave the counter to get backed up. Very friendly and fast service. They are also getting some nice stuff they didn't have before.

Shopping is very limited in our area, and despite waiting months for this store to finish it’s “remodeling” and dealing with it spontaneously being closed during operating hours, you can no longer reliably find otc meds or animal foods on the shelf. Locals can accept with shorter store hours and fewer days open (especially to help keep costs down), but even when the doors are open, what we should rely on being there simply is not, or (most often) it sits in its shipping boxes on carts in the aisles and no one has time to look for an item even if you ask. Have moved my routine shopping to Spearfish and Summerset if it’s beyond Dollar General stock; just not worth the effort to even stop at Sturgis Family Dollar versus driving 40min round trip, where at least I know I’ll get everything I rely on the store to have.

The store was closed for about a week. Went in today and this store is filthy I read a sign on door said restocking well most things were still in boxes and could barely get down isles for clutter. Sad when I worked there it was a really nice place but the old manager said I want needed. Well I think he was really wrong. Also he's in jail. Go figure. Very sad all the way around. People get to work

Was very disappointed that there are signs on the door saying you must wear a mask to enter and upon entering none of the staff were wearing masks! When I asked why , I was told that corporate required the signs but they were not going to enforce it and I could remove mine! I won’t be back. Even when the pandemic is over I don’t think I will patronize a business that doesn’t care about the health of its patrons nor employees! Sad!
