Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct and Harassment at Walmart StoreTo whom it may concern,I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction and anger regarding the appalling treatment I received at your Walmart store located at Spearfish SD on April 13th, specifically around 7 pm. The behavior exhibited by your employees, particularly the individual identified having blonde hair with glasses at the customer service desk, was nothing short of egregious and unprofessional.“I’m a Walmart+ member and tonight I spent over $900 at Walmart. Unfortunately, one of the employees exhibited a complete disregard for customer service standards. Despite presenting my barcode from my phone for a cash app transaction, she demanded my ID card, falsely claiming it was a store policy. This demand contradicted the store’s own guidelines, which explicitly state that no ID is required for such transactions for the barcode transfer. This behavior is unacceptable and warrants immediate disciplinary action.”Furthermore, I was subjected to unwarranted surveillance and harassment by multiple employees, both in uniform and civilian attire, throughout my time in the store. This intrusive behavior, which persisted despite my innocence and lack of any wrongdoing, left me feeling targeted and humiliated. As a loyal customer who frequents your store regularly and contributes significantly to your business, I find this treatment utterly reprehensible and inexcusable.The cumulative effect of these Incidents has not only left me incensed but has also led me to question the integrity and professionalism of your establishment. As a consumer, I have the right to expect courteous and respectful treatment, neither of which was extended to me during my recent visit. This egregious mishandling of customer relations has not only cost you my business but has also tarnished your reputation in my eyes.I demand immediate action be taken to rectify this situation, including but not limited to a formal apology, retraining of staff on customer service protocols, and assurance that such incidents will not recur in the future. Failure to address these concerns satisfactorily may result in legal action, as I am prepared to pursue all available avenues to seek redress for the emotional distress and inconvenience caused.I trust that you will take this matter seriously and respond promptly with appropriate measures to address my grievances. What is there to say? It's Walmart.Our local Walmart is always pretty busy. Groceries are a good price and produce is often pretty good. Every produce department has their off days, but I'm always able to find fresh veggies and fruits.The workers at the self-checkout are nice and helpful.The grocery pickup is great. Even if they seem to be running a bit slower just remember that you didn't have to run around the whole place looking for everything. Plus, if they can't find what you want, they usually substitute up.I have purchased office supplies, small appliances like toasters, mini fridges, Keurigs, monitors, and TVs. They have all been decent.They have usually been good about returns.The restrooms have been okay.The automotive department will take your used motor oil.The lawn and garden department has a lot of options for plants, grills, fire pits, outdoor furniture, various kinds of mulch, etc. Every Spring we get their wave petunias and they are awesome.Yes, Walmart can have some cheap, low quality stuff, but they do have a lot of nice things, too. So it is worth a look.It's Walmart. Lots of stuff... And several options of all the stuff.

Grocery pickup is a joke. The people that bring it out and load are great and fast, but whoever picks out the items needs help. We've received some of the most pathetic and rotting produce, leaky milk jugs, and expired bread almost every time and calls to the manager go unreturned. If they weren't the only game in town they'd be in trouble.EDIT: five months later they're only getting worse. 2 gallons of milk in our last order and they were both leaking. Just tried getting a 3pk of lettuce, 12 oz. Actual wt was less than 7 oz. Look at that photo and tell me who in their right mind would pick that out?And still worse. These useless employees forgot an item for curbside pickup and accused me of making it up. Definitely the bottom of the barrel working here now.

I like this Walmart because it had a very large selection of As Seen On TV as well as a very large variety of items in the clearance aisle. I cannot say the same for my hometown Walmart. For these reasons I give this Walmart five stars.

It’s terrible that you can’t pick anything up in store anymore. I used an online payment methods that you can’t use at the checkout there and I have to wait days to pick up a rug they have in stock. I called up to ask if I could just come pick it up because it’s paid for but the pick up lady was rude to me. I have to wait til Tuesday to pick up a rug. It’s ridiculous anymore.

Spearfish WalMart is one of the worst WalMart stores for receiving expired items when placing an online order. Purchased a 12 pack of Activia yogurt in December 2023 and they expired within 2 days of purchase. Purchased the exact same product and picked up Jan 27, 2024 and they expired Jan 28, 2024. So technically not expired when picked up but would be within a day. This isn't the only time I've received expired items from this store.

Hi, i received a termination letter from osl stating that i was trespassed and escorted off the property. Neither of these are true. I tried calling to get a store manager no answer.

I really wish spearfish Walmart was as good and had as many options at the big Walmart in Raid City, but let's be real here... any Walmart is a great day! Lol

Never ever have anything worth anyones while in stock. Horrible customer service. It would help if all the 100’s of workers would work and stock the shelves rather than all stand in a group and talk. STOCK THE SHELVES. .

We go to the store and buy some clothes and things that say $1 dollar and when the cashier check out mark other price and we said that all the things say $1 dollar and she don't want to change that and she start to saying "do you want the things free or what , do you think that this things can be pay with food stamps , do you no have money to pay another price more than $1dollar" and she have mad face with us so when it's that her job check that the things was the same price that the tag say so literally she humiliated us for buying $1 dollar things and he spoke to us out loud in front of everyone... that's today October 16th 23 with cashier in number 3 her name it's Helen

Bought BBQ chicken from deli we was told it was just made, it was horrible, and obviously old. , The self check out registers was only credit/debit card no cash very inconvenient , the lines you had to use if paying cash was very long. Overall this trip was awful. Lady in electronics was very rude

Being from Dallas, Texas I am not used to the best customer service or the cleanest places of business. This Walmart has the one back home BEAT. Everything was clean, tidy, and very well organized. Their electronics section was like our Best Buy stores! The staff members were super friendly and were always greeting our little family. Prices are about the same if not a little better than Texas. Best Walmart I’ve been to hands down!

Quick convenient shopping. We were able to pick up all our staples. There is a large selection of both food and home goods. Can always find a great deal on electronics and food. Look for those roll back prices. We also stopped at the Chinese restaurant inside for some lunch after we were done shopping. The food was alright considering it's inside a Walmart.

Over priced for quality. Tried to buy fishing poles - 6 different poles but the same issues. Non-stop bird nests, tangles around the hub, problem after problem. Not one pole worked!! Constant issues with food molding within 2 days. Terrible!

We stopped in on our road trip for a truck battery replacement in hopes that they could fit us in within a reasonable time. Dave in the Auto Center, and the nice young woman working beside him, worked to get us back on the road in no time at all. Thanks so much!!

Had everything I was looking for and more. Absolutely reasonable prices too. All of the foodstuffs I purchased were half the price I usually pay at the local Safeway. The only reason I don't shop here more is it's really unfortunate location, completely on the other side of town from where I live. (This does not effect the star rating I'm giving it.) It's more convenient for me to shop at Safeway, but only because of it's location. I can save time at Safeway, but I can save money at Walmart.

The layout is a little weird, but they did have some of the things that we were looking for. At other stores, we use the app to find the location of what we want, but at this store, nothing was where it said that it should be. We ended up going up and down every isle. The store was clean and the clerk was helpful.

I got a flat tire taking my son for his drivers test. The tire shop saved the day. The lady working was very kind and helpful. She was able to get me in right away and back on the road in 30 minutes. What could have been a very stressful day was not so bad thanks to you guys. Thank you!

Clean. Friendly. Parking is often crowded. Needs more staff. Self serve backed up. Very long waits. 😪
