Appreciate the idea of a locally owned small grocery store. The problem is the execution. They are always lacking in produce/selection generally. Store design is horrible (the corrals for checking out) and there are not enough workers. Would love to support a small locally owned store but it is far below expectations.

Terrific small grocery store located just off the main street. So many items available from nearby. Friendly people who were kind to offer help and suggestions. We found just what we needed to stock the cooler for a few days of picnics on a road trip. There was not gluten free bread available, but there are a couple of natural groceries nearby.

Best grocery store ever! If you want the best meat in town, go here. Homey, local, full of fresh and favorite products. They even have all human cashiers. The meat cutters are willing to cut whatever you want for steaks. Prices are great. I can’t say enough

Love this store. Then I get to the check out and the clerk lady ringing food up instantly seemed like she was irritated with her job. She had a very rude attitude and very sarcastic. My friend thought the exact same thing. All I bought was chips and salsa.

I love this place. Everything I need and you get personal attention here. Quality meats are exceptional. Thank you. It's a well stocked grocery store with fresh produce as well. It's quiet, they will help put groceries in your bag, in the cart and in your car. Good old fashioned service caring about their customers. Thank you.

Smaller place, but it usually isn't as busy as the other grocery stores. I prefer to shop here because it's a smaller store and I know where everything I am looking for is at.

A 30 year throwback when you walk in which is so nostalgic... then you walk around and realize that much of the store, especially the meat and deli, is amazing quality and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly!

I absolutely love this smaller grocery store. Friendly staff and always personable. I am extremely disappointed that they are choosing to be open on Thanksgiving day. We all deserve to be with family and loved ones, especially this crazy year.

Friendliest supermarket I have been in years, the staff is amazing. I was looking for dry ice and of all the stores in the area, this one carried it, and was very knowledgeable about how to use it. Thank you!!

They have always been a good grocery store. I don't get to go there very often because I live twenty miles awa, but I am so glad I did. The store is really in need of a good update and cleaning. But the employees are so friendly and out going. Their items are so easy to get to and to find

Great local grocery store. Super friendly staff and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I haven't seen this in thirty years. Spend your food dollars here instead of the mega-stores. Buy local.

I really want to like this place and spend my money locally, but between the grouchy checkout people, super narrow checkout lanes, and inferior quality items (particularly if they're on sale) I just can't. The meat department people are helpful, as is the store manager. But the fact that I even had to speak with the manager is disappointing.

Awesome little store. Somebody must straighten shelves all day, they are always in order. Best meat selection in town. Beer choices are also worth perusing....

Nicest grocery store that I go to the shelves are always blocked perfectly and they always have plenty of everything that you need and it's affordable and they check your own groceries out you don't have to do it yourself that is a big deal with me I don't work at Wally

Cute small grocer. Quality items. Artisan honey, salsa, coffee. Truckers we can park on the side street while we shop. Nice change from wallyworld. Great service.

Prices are amazing and meat is stellar! The employees are friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile or a "may I help you?" (instead of employees avoiding eye contact) They carry some great "local" (South Dakota) and regional brands, like Dimock and Wooden Shoe, South Dakota kuchen, and spices. My favorite place to get groceries in Spearfish! And did I mention their meat selection? Who can get $0.99 per pound for pork chops ever these days??!! It does happen there!

A fantastic small town grocery store. They don't have anything too exotic, but the selection is great and the produce is very fresh. Almost everyone that works here is nice and really wants to help you find everything you need, unlike the major grocery store nearby. My go-to spot for groceries in Spearfish.

The food tasted great! Staff super nice! Asked for ketchup and salt and we didn't get any, and with having to go through the drive up only it makes it difficult to get the things you asked for.

An excellent old-timey grocery with a lot of local or regional items that are difficult to find elsewhere. A talented butcher will cut meat while you wait. Great place for picnic supplies to take to Spearfish park.
