They don’t know how to make a royal blizzard and when I tried to explain how it’s supposed to be made they said “well that’s your preference”. The entire bottom half was plain vanilla ice cream. There was no strawberry filling in it. I didn’t actually taste any strawberry I think they just put in a tiny bit so it would look kind of red on top. If I wanted plain vanilla ice cream I would’ve just gone to the grocery store and paid 5$ for a gallon instead of the $8 I paid for this. I literally threw it away. The burger was good looks burnt but it was good. I’m also in the restaurant business and completely understand staffing issues but please train them on how to make your items. I had a long horrible day and all I wanted was my favorite blizzard and I spent my hard earned money on garbage.

Slow and rude service. Staff appeared as if we were an inconvenience when we came in. The blizzards were fine except a bit melted/liquid already when we got them. The place looked really messy and unkept. I won’t be coming back.

Local here, I eat here at least once a week, they got a good crew during evening, if you have any issues just contact the owner he'll make things right if there was a mistake.Their food is good, they don't have dine in anymore, drive thru takes a good 10 - 20 minute wait depending on the day of the week and what time you're going through drive thru.Tip: Double check your bags before leaving to make sure you get everything!After 1pm until 3pm is usually a decently fast service.Burgers over chicken if you want a fast order. Chicken is freshly made by order, and so are their fried foods.Parking: There are a lot of parking spaces, but at the end of the drive thru the right end is for orders.Kid-friendliness: They got a good menu for picky eaters.

Came through and asked for a reeses peanut butter cup blizzard got to the window paid drove off. Tasted it, and it wasn't reeses. I spit it out looked at the recipet it said puppy chow. I still don't know if you could possibly get them confused. I really bummed me out.

No dine in so had to go thru drive up. Burgers were good, fries not good. Drinks large are not as big as other fast food places. They must be under staffed as we wait almost 30 minutes or more for our food.

Waited 17 minutes in the Drive-Thru after I ordered. And this is what I got through the window.... it took you 17 minutes to make it, you think you could build it in a not sideways fashion?

We ordered two mini blizzards, listed on drive thru menu as $2.99. We were charged $3.69, the price of the Royal blizzards. We tried to explain that we did not order or receive the royal and she said 'that is what the register says'. We did pay as we could see she wasn't going to help. And to top it off the cups weren't even full.

Fries were old and stale, paid for royal blizzard received regular, asked for large meal, got size small. Asked for ketchup packets and they were forgotten. Went back through the drive thru to get them, employee was rude and short at the window. If you like old food and rude service, check this dairy queen out. If not, the next town with a dairy queen would be a MUCH better option.

Great service! Respectful and courteous service at drive through window is a welcoming change for me. I highly recommend Sisseton’s Dairy Queen to any and all individuals looking for good old fashioned “courteous “ service backed by genuine people who know their business is to please their customers first, because without the customer, there isn’t a business.

Ordered through the drive thru, food is always hot & fresh, haven't experienced bad service, like the other's. So I'm happy eating here. Outside of building could use a touch up or renovation.

It usually is super busy, and takes a very long time for the drive thru line to move. The lobby has been closed. Food is decent. Not a fan of their ice cream.

The waitress was very rude didn't read our order back to us They had stuff on The menu that they didn't have. The wire messed up our order And then expected us to pay for her mistake. Her And her boss were visiting about when she can take off so maybe if she was paying attention to the customer mistakes wouldn't happen

Served a previously made blizzard that was frozen….then a blizzard that wasn’t blended…this is their way of using less ice cream…and again today an in blended blizzard (still had a whole piece of banana, strawberry and pineapple) and their prices are way higher than other DQ’s

Might be helpful to update your menu on the drive-thru. I tried to order a blizzard but it was no longer available. Lengthy line and mistaken order for a guest.

Way overpriced food, they up charge you for everything! I was charged $40 for two chicken strip baskets with ice cream. Food is shoty there sometimes fresh sometimes not so much

It was alright . Walked into no one at the counter and no one else around. There were dead bugs all over window ledges and wasnt very clean. The girl at the front counter watched loud videos on her phone while having down time until another employee came in.. she then power cleaned until she left and resumed her phone.

We are currently working in Sisseton so we frequent the DQ here often. There is one girl in particular that is extremely rude. Huffed and puffed when we asked for bbq sauce. By looking at other reviews seems this is a reoccurring issue that hasn’t been resolved. Our order was wrong, which is normal here. DQ responds with the same generic response here and doesn’t seem to fix their issues. Also would like to add that the ladder they have had posted over a functioning and unlocked door has been out for weeks. That is completely unsafe given there is a baseball field next door where children play.

They don't blend their blizzards very well and the food needs improvement. The experience is usually terrible or ok. It's rare to get something great though it does happen.

Love love love the burgers! Other places in town that sell burgers usually are underseasoned and have just the patty and bun. This dq has the all american burger i crave! Good prices too in comparison to some other restaurants in town.

Dirty, slow, and gross food. The staff had no idea how to run the till and were more interested in making ice cream for each other than helping customers. Horrible experience. The whole place was filthy!

i just order from dairy queen and i got home and started to eat my food then all of a sudden i felt the urge to throw up bc the food didn’t taste nor smell has it did before then i tried to eat a chicken strip and there was smoking hard and cold in the inside of it and it made me 🤮🤮. i want a refund.
