Friendly staff and helpful! We live out of town and my daughters selected a fancy mouse. We had a lot of other errands to run and so an employee by the name of Dalton helped them out. He posted a notice for other employees and we were able to purchase the mouse and he saved that particular one for them for a few hours until we could return! Such a good experience that when my daughters wanted a companion for their mouse I didn't hesitate to drive the hour there and back the very next day to buy them another one. I know a $7 (well 2) sale isn't huge, but it left us with a good experience and will be returning!

This is an average Pet store with over priced pet foods (limited selection of specific brands). There are plenty of toys, treats (not many actually healthy for pets) leashes, collars and the like along with all other sorts of Pet supplies. There is a dog groomer service on site also. They allow The Kitten League (TKL) adoption agency and perhaps others to bring their pets in for adoption (sale). We did adopt a kitten "Linus" from them.PetSmart has a good location on the East side.

I love this location on the east side of Sioux Falls. The staff is nice and helpful. I get all my cat , dog and turtle 🐢 food at pet smart. They also have grooming at this location. I would recommend them for grooming. All of my dogs have been groomed here.

Super unsatisfied with our AussieDoodles groom! We were super pleased with her puppy cut the first time but Riley P did not do at all what we asked! Here are the before and after… I am still not convinced we got the same dog.

As a Pedigree Ragdoll cat breeder, I've searched all over the greater Sioux Falls area and they have the absolute best selections of high quality cat food!I appreciate this so much, as cat food prices have risen so much in the last year and ordering online isn't always ideal. This location has been able to keep prices stable and keep inventory and I appreciate their service and staff.

BEST GROOMING EXPERIENCE EVER! I will never go anywhere else. They do so well making sure my girl is comfortable, confident and obnoxiously cute! I am always happy with how she turns out and I couldn't ask for better care from the groomers! Thank you KENZIE for taking perfect care of my baby <3

Both of my dogs have been groomed here a couple of times. Groomers are excellent and friendly. Both my dogs were done in a few hours! Store is clean and inviting!

Too many dog foods way over priced. Half the food a dog wouldn't eat. It's cheaper to buy hamburger meat for the dog.

We stop at this PetSmart about once a week. Each stop includes something for the dog, two boxes of crickets for the amphibians and reptiles and maybe a container of meal worms. We have purchased a brown and green Anole from here and also a Fancy Bearded Dragon along with numerous fish. They guarantee their animals and do a wonderful job explaining everything about them to you. We purchased our bearded dragon's tank from here in a kit that was on sale during the Christmas season 2018. The staff was very helpful in letting us know what we needed that wasn't provided in the kit. We are always asked if we need help with anything while we are here and our dog loves coming along and picking out a treat. They offer many products at competitive prices and will price match from brick and mortar stores. They also do a good job on our dog's nails.

I came in to look at fish only to find black nasty stuff all over the tanks. I stopped counting after I found over 10 dead fish. When I pointed it out to an employee who asked if I needed assistance, she laughed and said that "they only pull dead ones twice daily or otherwise they would be at it all day." I was disgusted and straight up said I will not buy any fish from here. And please don't even get me started on how bad the Betta were in those cups because... well, it was just....heartbreaking. I wish I had taken pictures. I thought the tanks were bad on the other side of town at the other location, but they just had fish under quarantine and not dead ones floating around. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to the other aquarium place in front of Menards. That place is great!

Helpful but bought 4 fish there in an hour and all 4 fish died. It was a twenty minute drive home. The 4 fish were in about 4-5 inches of water in the bag. We asked for more water ,but we were assured the fish would be fine.

So very disappointed, for what I spend on the girls and my animals, I bought two canister filters from the east side , well I understand that it is past 60 days but when you open the box and all the parts aren't there, I feel they should exchange it. The cashier was nice about it but the other lady was pretty rude.I also remember asking if it had been returned because it didn't have package strapping one it like the other one did. So yes I should have opened the box instead of trusting her word. But still is the fact that it should have been exchanged with one that has all the parts. Will not return to the Eastside Petsmart, no matter what I need , if that is how I'm treated, especially when there other places to shop.I can see if I had used it but I hadn't even opened the box yet. Extremely disappointing.

They shut all of their animal exhibits down an hour and a half early from their closing time, so if you are planning to get an animal from there, make sure you go there at 9am right when they open because they are too lazy to do a full close at the time stated on their website. I understand closing down everything 10-15 minutes before close.. but really?? One hour and a half?! Ridiculous.

I like the corn cob cat litter they have here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am able to ask questions without feeling like I'm looked down on. I appreciate seeing the adoptable cats in the store that have come from shelters.

Worst experience ever, groomer traumatized my dog. Complained to the store and was told the fireworks are what is making my dog act different not the cuts from grooming. My dog looks like a 5 year old cut his hair.

Purchased a large kennel for my dog. Very courteous staff. They helped me load it into my car. We also had him clipped. Faith did a great job located at Louise and 41st.Sioux Falls SD.

My golden has a hard time with new people. We used to have a groomer here that was fantastically patient with him and earned his trust. She no longer works there and we were reassigned a new groomer. When they told me they were giving me a new groomer I made sure to say that He needed somebody that would be patient with him because he gets nervous. When I showed up to my appointment he was nervous, she did not put in any effort to earn his trust but asked me to take everything off him and put the leash they have on. She reached for the leash and he nipped at her out of nervousness and protection of me. I was immediately dog mom shamed for his actions and was told that they would not groom him. I will be going to a groomer who is willing to put in the work with dogs who are nervous. Clearly this lady is not cut out for this line of work. Dogs get nervous. Not all dogs trust immediately. Patience is something Petsmart lacks. Will not be returning.Just want to add that it’s not just my golden. My other dog cries and tries to stay away from the groomer when we go. Maybe it’s a PetSmart thing? I know they don’t have this problem at the Groom Room.

I give pet smart on highline drive a 5 star....they are very friendly,kind, caring and also very helpful...also if your pet don't like the food u buy u can bring the food back for a different bag until u get what they like...also if your dog needs a trainer kat at pet smart is awesome our corgi learns alot....thanks kat
