Friendly and helpful staff. I purchased a grill and the employee made sure it was in stock and didn't just assume the computer was correct. He made sure all the paperwork was done and went to the checkout to make sure there were no questions. I didn't have to ask about assembly and delivery options. He offered them up front.

We came to pick up an online order and the store was absolutely crazy busy with people. Even so, every single person working there was SO helpful and still took time to communicate with us about our purchase. Was a great experience!

I bought a new snow blower this year and some other stuff and got 60 + dollars in rewards we went to buy a new Webber grill and wanted to use them and asked them about them didn’t know they were in the app and expire I use to use ave for all my business needs and personal needs but I’ll save my money and go else where that they are more clear on rewards and don’t take them from there loyal customer just be aware they do expire

I needed 10 weird sized 3mm screws and thought my only option was contacting the manufacturer. Received extremely helpful service at ACE and they had exactly what I was looking for. Can always count on helpful and knowledgeable staff. The free popcorn is always a nice treat too.

Just returned an axe with a 3 lb. axe head weight. I didn't like the feel of the axe because of the head weight and slightly shorter handle than similar axes. When returning the axe, the associate assisting me with it was giving off attitude. Not a behavior I'd like to be treated with.I also had good experiences at the store though. I was looking for sharpening files and a mattock. There's been other associates who have approached me and led me to what I was looking for in the store.

AJ truly cared about our needs and tried to help us with our snow shoveling problems. Every time we go to this Ace, the staff answers questions and offers solutions. It's a great local place to pick up necessities for my home.

We went into Ace to grab some paint and a bolt for a sofa leg that was missing. In the paint area, we spoke with a young man named Trevor. Trevor was very knowledgeable. He spoke to us about the paint we looked at, the business to business representative, and what kind of offers they do for businesses that are signed up with Ace. If you are a business, you should look into it—the discount they apply works with Ace and Dakota workwear.

Nyberg's Ace has EVERYTHING you need. Knowledgeable staff and Awesome customer service! I bought the most spectacular potted flowers at 1/2 off this Summer & I just put them to the trash. Talk about long lasting! I will defiantly buy my next years flowers there!!

I ordered a grill online (Ace Hardware) that was being sold from the Nyberg's Ace 41st street location on Wednesday and was told that it would be assembled and delivered on Friday. They said I needed to be home so we took time away to make sure we were present at home and no one appeared to be coming. I called the location and they said they could only deliver on Tuesday or Thursday. This was never addressed when ordered and I needed it on Friday so instead I had to pick it up and assemble myself. The location only could say it wasn't their fault and couldn't do anything to help. Very disappointing from what I thought was a place more focused on customers then the bigger chains. Next time probably best to save money and buy elsewhere.

Ace is one of those places that has what you need but maybe not the best choice or price. If I need a screw or bolt of some odd size… they are my go to without going to McMaster Carr. Lawn and garden, perfect. Their grill selection and accessories is the best in town.

This is up from the two stars I was going to give them thanks to Mark in the Hub. Ordered an EGO snow shovel/power head on March 1st. Got an e-mail that is was ready for pickup. I went to the store and they spend about 10 minutes looking for it. Finally came back after another 5 minutes and said they didn't actually have it, but it was being reordered, and I was promised to get a phone call on the following Tuesday when it came in.Tuesday came and went...fast forward to the following Tuesday (today). I went online and simply cancelled the order. I was frustrated at the lack of communication, and frankly, we are supposed to get snow Thursday so I was going to find one elsewhere. Not more than 20 minutes after I cancelled my order, Mark from this store called me and said the unit was in. I went on a little rant and he politely listened and agreed that he would be frustrated too. After we talked (he immediately said he would send it back) I decided to go ahead and keep it so I went to the store and they got me taken care of.While I commend Mark for his excellent customer service, I do not think I will ever order anything 'ship to the store' from Ace Hardware again. There is clearly something broken with their system that needs to be ironed out. I order a ton of stuff--I wanted to keep my purchase local as I usually do when possible, but two weeks and two trips to the store is not at all convenient for me.
