If you happen to be gluten free, try their take home pizzas. My wife loved it & wished we had bought more. The crust was delicious! Their ready made take home meals are always good as well!Usually a friendly staff & helpful. Their bakery has all sorts of tasty rolls, breads,etc.Their liquor store is awesome! 😁

This store is the nicest out of all the Hy-Vee’s in town. The employees there are always busy working and happy to help. Everything looks so nice and clean and well stocked. It’s amazing to see the employees working together and I especially love the bakery ,fresh produce, and the butcher counter. What an amazing selection I would give 10 stars.

On a road trip and passing through town. We always prefer a hyvee and always enjoy finding a good one. We could not find or they do not have the race car carts for children, but they do have smaller children carts that almost made up for this. I was hoping for a better "make your own 6 pack" area, but everyone we encountered was so very nice, and the store was organized and clean.

Have shopped this store for 20+ years. Today I bought groceries and as many people do did not get a receipt. As I was headed to exit a clerk came running at me saying you didn't pay, you didn't pay!! I said yes I did as everyone in the vicinity was staring at me. I was beyond embarressed. As I headed back to CS another clerk comes running up and daid she did pay! Evidently, the incompetent cashier, whom I will not print his name but starts with N, forgot to press a key on his end. Manager I called did not seem overly concerned. Need a policy not to holler at people and accuse them of wrongdoing and totally embarrass the client. So make sure you don't leave checkstand without receipt and maybe the store needs to give everyone receipt and not give you an option. They made me feel like a criminal! Good thing there are other stores to shop at but further from home!

Called in a order of Chicken 60 pieces lady was very pleased to take the order told them be in around 10 , Girl friend went in get her Chicken lady behind the counter said wouldn't be done till 11 finally at 10 :45 the order taker showed up said its been done since 9:30 . Know she going to late for grandson birthday.

Just came from hychi line . The guy making the orders was doing fabulous , a young gal takes his place and did kid size food servings 😢.. I got 5 pieces of chicken for my sesame chicken , and a smaller serving of noodles and other entree . Even the guy that checked me out asked if I ordered a small size , that’s when I knew my mind wasn’t playing tricks on me . I wouldn’t care but my adult son who worked 12 hours in the cold today should have been given a meal that I paid for . Do better Hy Vee

Attended a bottle signing with 50 cent! Store is in a nice location while walking through the store it looked very clean and put together. Parking lot was nice as well. Clean bathrooms. Staff was very friendly handed out water to everyone who was waiting in line for the event to start along with going around again with a trash bag to throw our empties away. I will definitely visit Hy-Vee when we come to Sioux Falls again!From Rapid City!

Today I saw a couple of things that made me think. A young cashier had a customer with alcohol ask for help from another employee who implied that it wasn’t his job to help the young cashier. Young cashier was eventually assisted by a manager, when the customer asked the manager about the not my job attitude she started making excuses, it appears that this kind of attitude at this store is common. I have been coming to the store for quite a while, and it is the first time I’ve seen this attitude among the Employees. I do hope that this trend is not going to continue.

Prices are a little high compared to the competition. Though that is more a corporate issue (or…) than the local store. Store is very well organized and clean.

First off, many items are overpriced compared to other grocers in the area. Second, two-thirds of the time I come here, they are out of what I need. But, the last and most egregious pain point is their POS machines. If HiVee expects me to work for free and scan my own food, then it needs to have a fully-functioning system that doesn't require a store attendant to assist for no reason at all. 75% of the time that I have used "self" checkout, " I wind up having to stand around for and wait for an employee to show up. Today, it happened, and I stood there longer than I needed to, waiting for no one to show up. I'm done with this store!Edit: as you can see by the automated response, there is no reason to waste my time over items that are less than $5, so I'll just take my business elsewhere. Thanks!

The Chinese food we got from there last night had to be thrown in the trash. It was not edible. The rice was still half in a solid state. There was almost NO chicken or beef in the sides, and what was there was absolute mush. I'm not kidding when I say that's the very last time I walk into a Hy-Vee. Honestly ANY grocery store in town is better and nowhere near as expensive. Hy-Vee's look like and operate like over glorified convenience stores. I pray for the day they leave Sioux Falls. Ya'll are thieves.

Hy-Vee is a wonderful clean grocery store. The aisles are wide. Employees are very helpful. The produce dept and fresh meat counter are fully stocked with helpful employees. Their selection of freshly cook food i.e. pizza and asian food was hot and very delicious. I really wish there was a Hy-Vee in Scottsdale. We would make it our primary grocer.

Purchased a bag of pears. Half the bag were bad when you cut into them. This has happened to me multiple times. The selection may be smaller but I prefer Fareway's produce.

It would be nice to go back to "pre-covid" days, when there was AT LEAST 1 Hy-Vee n 2 Walmarts in town that stayed open 24hrs. In a city of this size, in 2024, WHY IS THERE NOTHING OPEN past 11pm??

Tasty Chinese takeout! Not as good as a Chinese restaurant but the deals and quick service are worth it. I've tried many of the offerings and some are subpar, some are decent, but the recent introduction of jalapeños chicken is awesome! Noting authentic about it, but it's tasty. General and cashew chicken are my other faves.

Josh b was a very friendly cashier. Really he went beyond what I'm used to. The food here is more expensive though so you should be prepared for that. The meat is much better quality than Walmart though and the price reflects that.Parking is also very bad on weekends

Hy-Vee has one of the better selection of GF items in town along side a few other places so I frequently go there, however, I don't normally come to this location because of the stress it causes. It is always extremely busy and the parking lot is something of a nightmare to navigate in. The 4 stars instead of 5 is for that reason. Beyond that, the produce is always fresh and they have a vast variety of groceries. My daughter said the cookies are 5 stars - the best she's ever had in her entire life, so I see you Hy-Vee Bakery section.

I was a little disappointed with the meat department staff, when I asked about the meat sale that was advertised nobody acted or responded to my inquiry with any idea what I was talking about. The store was well stocked and very clean.
