We were stopping for two nights at the Montrose Pioneer Campground (If traveling and camping Pioneer Campground is a really good place to stop and relax for a few. $25 a night.) and came to Salem to pick up some groceries and decided to check out Feterl's Meats, small shop, but he had PRIME rib eyes on sale, also bought some of their brats and ground beef. Had the steak tonight since it's steak Friday, extremely glad we bought two, wish we had bought more. Best steak we have had since since leaving Florida in April. Itinerary was to Maine then across the Northern part of the US so you came figure how many mediocre steaks we have had. Not far off of I-90. Stop in. More after we do the brats and ground beef.

I love this place! The quality and variety of their meats is exceptional! .. and their fresh meat case is always stocked with a great variety of fresh meats...cheeses..beef sticks and ideas!
