We took our German Shepard mix in for a diy bath. It all went pretty well and the dog looks great. There was only one towel, but I could have asked for more. There is a high speed blower to help dry your dog and the bathing area has a drain in the floor so you don't have to worry about keeping the water in the tub. They say you don't have to clean up after yourself but we did anyway.

The staff here are always super nice and really friendly. They show true love and care for our dog every time we come in. Our dog is also in the beginning obedience classes, and he has learned so much and is becoming easier to handle at home. Thank you so much for all you do, and we will happily promote you whenever we can.

The grooming staff did a great job trimming my dog's nails. The dog is 13, very anxious, and is missing a leg, but they were able to make him feel comfortable. We'll be returning to Tails 'n Training.

We’ve used Tails n Training for all of our boarding, training, and grooming since moving to Rapid City and we love it! Not only are they amazing with our dogs and so such a great job, Rebecca has been so understanding and helpful in a few emergencies we’ve had. I strongly recommend using them!!

Tails & Training came to me through recommendations in our community. I decided to board my 2 dogs there for the first time earlier this winter/spring time. They were boarding for 2 nights and an exact amount of food was portioned out and put in clearly marked bags with the feeding instructions for both dogs. Come the time to pick up; and most definitely to my surprise; there was still one full portion left in the bag for both dogs meaning one of the nights stays they were not fed. When I asked why there was still food in the care bag I sent at drop off, Rebecca herself went back to check with staff and comes back to tell me that my dogs refused food but says she will follow up and get back to me. NEVER and I mean never under any circumstances have either of my dogs refused food. Fast forward a few months later to this past weekend (July 8 to 9, 2023) and we decided to give this place another chance and chose to board our 2 dogs for the one night only while we were travelling across state. Upon entering the reception area, Rebecca was standing there. She then says "Arch & Beau right wasn't I supposed to call you back, anyways yes to confirm they refused their food". (All these months later and no follow up!!) To which I replied that is still absolutely not possible. Then she takes my dogs and quickly exits with them to the back of the facility. We arranged pick up time at booking and again sent the right amount of food for each of them for the one night. Pick up Sunday July 9 and again all the food I sent for the one night is still in the bag. The 2 employees working tell me that there are a lot of new people working there and that's why they weren't fed. Why is this place hiring employees that are unable to provide basic food and water needs to our pets while left in the care of the employees at this facility? What is going on here? There was another gentlemen there to pick up his dogs at the same time and he was shocked by their careless response. My pour dogs were fighting over the food in the overnight bag the moment we walked out of the facility last night, so unfortunately I cannot and will not accept that my dogs refused their food which is likely the response I will receive from them again. This is twice in a matter of months and I can assure you my dogs will never return to this facility.

This place is amazing and my dog loves to go here. We have done multiple classes with Rebecca and she does a great job! The classes were so much fun and we learned so many tricks on training our dog. We have also done grooming with them and had an amazing experience. Thanks Ladies!

I used the self-service pet wash. The price was good ($15) but the facility hadn't been cleaned. The wash went ok but when I turned on the drier I was immediately greeted with a flurry of fluff from the previous dog. Not great, not sure I'll come back.

I love Tails n’ Training and so does my dog! The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and I know I can trust them with my sometimes nervous pup. We have attended training classes, gotten regular grooms, and used the boarding service, all went perfectly. No complaints! :)

Plenty of kennels of different sizes, including some that allow the dogs access to the outside. Our dog stays here a night at a time, or sometimes for a week. He's walked at least 3 times a day. They also offer training and obedience classes as well as grooming. Even some stations you can use to wash your dog yourself. We love it here!

They did an excellent job with Charlie's first haircut. He looks SUPER cute!! We are definetely going to make it Charlie's place to get his haircut every time. I highly recommend it. It was a five star experience for sure!

What a great option for the self pet grooming...from towels shampoo brushes and a blow dryer, even doggy cologne. Warm water, and a grooming table made our pet washing a GREAT experience, happy critters and happy customers. Will absolutely be back!! Thank you for a great grooming option!! 100 stars ⭐️

Had to take my dog there for a bath, they have DIY bays. The customer service is wonderful and the facilities are clean and inviting. They provide everything, and a dryer and towels. They sell pig ears, hooves and bully sticks to reward fido for behaving during his bath. Cost me 17$ total. Good price and no mess at my house.

That's correct, I was not able to work with you all, because when I called for more information about your services the woman who answered the phone was very rude and dismissive. I would not have been comfortable leaving my pups with a person who cannot display any kindness or patience.

Rebecca is awesome. Our rescue Lab " Sage" has gained confindence and come a long way toward becoming a very social dog. My daughter and I learned a lot about how to work with Sage and Rebecca's class was non-threatening and I enjoyed the laid back, but in control atmosphere. Thank you
