This is one of the better Sam’s club we have been to. We needed another case of water for our dogs as we bring them with us everywhere.They had a lot of different items that our local Sam’s club did not have. We for a case of karma for us and instead of the peach, blueberry , & strawberry kind, it was watermelon, cherry, & strawberry kind.They also had the vita coconut in a big case and we grabbed that too for our trip.At first, I couldn’t find the karma but a lovely worker named Vera, who was passing out tiny cheesecakes, I had asked her if she had seen the karma, she gave me the idea of looking in the scan and go app. It showed they had it and I was able to find it. All the employees we encountered here were really nice! I normally don’t rate stores like Sam’s but I had to with this one.

Sam's was our first stop in Rapid City since arriving. We stopped here to stock our hotel room with food and water to try to minimize our going out to eat bill. We noticed that compared to the Sam's back home in KC that this one isn't busy at all (the day we went) and it's very clean. Workers here were very nice and helpful and some of the customers also. Customers were helping us find things and some told us where to find good things in town. They had different items stocked that we don't normally see but we also noticed that the clothing section is smaller and missing sweat shirts\hoodies as it's colder here than back home. Check out was quick but the food court line was really long and took a while. Got gas here twice, the first time was quick (in and out) second time it was busy and took maybe 15-20 minutes before we could fill up.

Normally Sam's club is my favorite place to go to shop for my home and Business. Super let down with the quality of goods lately. Cheese rancid within 2 weeks. Strawberries molded within 3 days, lemons molded within 5 days. Super frustrating. I definitely used to get all of these things at Sam's because I felt like their quality was the best in town, definitely not the case anymore. Will be going somewhere else for fresh goods if it continues like this.

I’m a truck driver. This location is where people actually shop. No signs and the turn to the dock doors is where cars turn in. There’s concrete barriers that could cause a blow out when you make the turn in. I drove in circles for 30 min and stopped at target receiving and they assured me where to go and good luck lol. I opened the first unmarked door and that was driver check in. You could also get to the back by turning right at the next stop light. It could set you up for blind side backing though. The first pic is the turn in but it’s when I was leaving so you will prolly come from the other direction, the next is the driver check in doors. They were really fast though unloading 🙂

No problems with Sam's Club. My first time shopping there was a nice employee walking around who showed me how to use the app while shopping for fast checkout. I've used the online ordering and pickup as well, everything went smoothly. I just don't love going because it's so crowded.

The store manager needs to manage his temper. All of my interactions with him have been bad. It makes coming here not worth it. Other than that, I always find what I'm looking for here.

Great place to get most of what I need at a fair price, but they don't always have some of the same types of dietary supplements once they run out of them.

Sam's Club advertise's they hire felons. Im here to tell you they do not. Must judge backgrounds more than they say they do. Pretty crazy I actually thought I had a chance and here two weeks later after I accepted another job they finally got the background back and said I'm not eligible. So crazy how everything changed since Sam Walton died. I hope the next better "Walmart" takes these people outta business.

I'm a fan of this place simply because you can get a good amount of groceries for a fair price, especially these days. Fresh fruit/veggies are fairly constant and good quality i.e. a bunch of bananas for under $3, golden potatoes for $6. My family loves the baked goods like french bread, cream cheese danish and you can't beat the rotisserie chicken for just under $5. I always get my Persil laundry detergent here and have recently noticed that you can get anywhere form $2-$4 off if you use their amazing Scan n Go on their app; it saves you time with no waiting in line to check out. Best price in town for my fav wine, Stella Rosa, and the gas prices are fairly competitive. Oh yes, I can't forget BOOKS...a good variety from adult, young adult and children.

Very nice Sam’s Club. It was clean and organized. They have a sushi bar, and a snack bar. We enjoyed the rotisserie chicken that was freshly made. Great way to stock up when in Rapid City. The gas was only 2 cents cheaper than gas at the gas station. So don’t make the drive to save for the gas it isn’t worth it.

My husband and I were trying to find tires for my Nissan Rogue Sport. Called the number for Sam's Club and were connected to a call center somewhere in India etc. We first were priced for a Pirelli, then a Goodyear. This took about 30 minutes. Lady said Monday that they was a opening on Monday 10/09/23 @noon. We like ok, let's schedule to have the Goodyear installed. She transfers us to the local Sam's Club here in Rapid City. And we found out they do not have any tires for our size and it is a minimum of a 5 day wait. Did not schedule with Sam, but now are getting tires installed at tires discount today.My Plus membership is due in November, but basic will be working just fine.

This is a nice store, clean and bright and generally very current with respect to stock. I think the prices are about as good as Costco. And since Rapid City doesn't have a Costco, not much choice!

The pharmacy has a pharmacutical supplier which has allowed them to continue to provide medications that there have been a nation wide shortage of. I have been extremely impressed with the Pharmacy's customer service as well.However, today I was on my out the door and I decided to use the self check out to buy some coffee. I was a bit distracted and forgot to grab my receipt. I didn't realize it until I got to the door. I went back to the cash register and whomever used it after me had taken my receipt as well.I was informed by the woman at the door that I could not take my coffee unless I had a receipt so I would need to go over to guest services. When I made it through the guest services line...I was initially I was told that I would not be able to obtain a receipt.Finally I enlightened them that I was not going to leave without the item I purchased. She finally then understood why I was there and scanned my item, my card, and spoke to the woman at the door.I understand they probably have a problem with theft but this seems a little bit excessive.I feel that educating the employees would be very beneficial.

I really want to love Sam's. We do ALL of our major grocery shopping here, but the fact that they've removed a great deal of the products that we loved really hurts (ie. Frozen vegetables, Normandy mix, ready-to-bake pizzas, beef ramen, Sriracha, regular eggs, etc.). I even tried to buy tires for my f150, but they couldn't because they weren't the original size. I use the fuel stations, but I wish they would arm the staff with the ability to tell people to stop pulling into the pumps backwards.I'm not thrilled where things have been going, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Costco come to town.

Love Sam's club. It is one of our favorite places to shop. There is so much to look at and buy, in bulk. We really only need to go once a month to stock up on some pantry items but we can't help going a couple more times during the month. We really like checking out the samples. I'm glad they got employees working booths again. After COVID, it was only items from the machine you swipe your card at. They have cheap soda fountains and really good hotdogs. We, as a family, enjoy going to Sam's.

Always great shopping at Sam's Club. This location is a mandatory stop for us when we are traveling and driving through Rapid City. The store is always neat and clean, as are the restrooms.We especially like Scan & Go that allows us to scan as we shop and avoid all the lines. We also like the exceptional Sam's Cash that, unlike Costco, is readily available and we don't have to jump through Costco's hoops to use. Costco could use a strong lesson from Sam's Scan & Go and their Sam's Cash.Well done Rapid City!

Some items have to be delivered by truck to your home and cannot be ordered into the store. I ordered a grill, it was delivered but looked like someone was getting forklift training and using my grill to practice. It was damaged an I initiated a return and replacement at the same time. They use a company called AIT logistics. The nightmare of getting any accurate info from them and the online SAMS chat is really bad. No one seems to know what is going on. I will only buy stuff from sams at the store from now on. I cannot tell you the wasted time that I have spent trying communicate regarding this pickup and the delivery.

I used the scan and go for the first time. I thought that was great. I didn't have to stand in line to pay. It charged my card, and I was in and out much quicker. I will use scan and go again. Thank you Sam's.

Increased the price of my membership and reduced the service. I haven't used a cashier once. The one time I do, completely ignored. 3 cashiers standing around chatting no one working. Can I have a job that pays so well to do nothing? Can't wait for Costco to finally come to Rapid, they gonna put this location out of business. The laziest people on the planet work for sams and walmart.Update...you have lost a $10k year shopper. Good riddance. No concept of customer service.
