I adore this place!! Not only do you get case discounts on wet food, but if you buy so many bags of food or joint supplements, you get free ones, and even if you forget, the amazing staff keep track. They are always friendly and all smiles! I won't shop at Petco or Petsmart for my Pups and cat food unless I run out and Pet Pantry is closed..which I think is only on Sundays. Support local small businesses who take care of their customers like these people do. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Enjoy pics of my babes!

Best Pet Store in Rapid!! Small town feel, great selection, and great quality! Associates are always friendly and helpful! They will even help carry out your dog food or cat litter if you want! They also have a sweetheart live-in cat named Mama

Pet Pantry is the best! I’ve been shopping there for years. They carry a huge selection of both cat and dog foods and are highly knowledgeable about nutrition. Not to mention a large selection of treats and toys! It’s my go to place to shop!

Was excited to go here due to great reviews. Not impressed!!! Website showed a great selection of collars. Got to the store and there was nothing but Xmas and valentine collars. Poor selection! Would have bought treats and toys but didn’t bother. Won’t visit again!

She understands the variety of products needed for all pets here in the city. If it's not in stock she will order it for you! I took my new adopted cat Pepper in to be fitted for a harness and leash combo, and Laura fixed us right up! My cat was able to pick out her own toys and treats, and she felt comfortable in the store!The wall of pets is so personal and wholesome to see when coming into the store! Supporting local businesses is so very important to me and mine and we appreciate Laura and her staff as well as the store! Go in and give Momma Kitty some love!

The girls at the shop are always nice. We have a kitty with a sensitive tummy and they are helping me with food ideas and tracking what has worked and what hasn't. They are reasonably priced as well. Love them!

Today I went in to replace yet another harness my front legged tripod, Murphy chewed off of her. Erika was working, she came over, helped discern size and which would work best for Murphy. So much so I got my other two dogs too and she was terrific picking colours out and matching, fitting them. A true customer service employee enthusiastic about her job, helpful without having to ask. Much appreciated, great employee, store had alit if good quality selection.

Pet Pantry has such nice people working there. I hear that management has been passed on to another employee who is very familiar with the businesses. If you want higher end products for dogs or cats in Rapid City this is the place to go. They have a nice loyalty program and will special order for you if their vendors carry a product. I get my No-Hide chews, pumpkin flakes in giant size, Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried products, Nulo, Orijen, and other great brands here. The staff are kind and have great suggestions. The dogs belonging to the staff are friendly and socially savvy, but not always restrained, so if you have a dog-reactive dog along you may want to check if any pups are roaming and/or pop on a muzzle before going in.

loyal client for a good reason!.., also science diet cat food is cheaper there than at Big Box pet stores, including Petsmart. Been going there for nearly 30 years now...Laura Sumner, the manager, is the owner now... Bravo!

I have taken my two cats here to get groomed and both times it was just fantastic.The first time, I took my cat in for some matting in his fur (I had just gotten him from the shelter and he was sort of scroungy). I assumed they'd have to shave him because it was quite bad. They gave me a price estimate that was lower than the other place in town, so I went with them. Once they got him, they told him he wouldn't need a shave, but he only needed a brush-through, which was much cheaper for me. He never had any matting again after that, and they even threw in a bottle of hair detangler for free.Then I took my other cat in for a general groom. It didn't take as long as I figured it would, and she looked and smelled great after the groom.The service is great and they know what they're doing at Wags to Whiskers. I'm a fan!

So i went to buy a 5 lb bag of cat food, and they were out. So they sold me the 15 lb bag for half price!!! Cannot believe they did that!!! What conpany does that?! I always and will always buy all my pets food there! Wonderful, helpful, and such friendly staff! Thank you!

They are very friendly and always make sure to re-order our specialty food for our dog. When they didn't have it in stock they helped me find it elsewhere. They have a frequent buyer card that is really nice.
