This is a great grocery store. Usually less chaotic than Safeway. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The isles are sorted in a manner that makes sense. Its easy to find what you are looking for in this store. They have a Starbucks which is really convenient. Good selection of fruit and vegetables. Produce seems to be fresh. The meat section is also well stocked.

Just stopped in for a few things. Prices are about the same as everywhere else. The only issue I have is that sometimes, in order to get the lowest or sale prices you have to go into the app on your phone or something. If they want to keep customers happy, make the shopping experience a little simpler.

Love shopping at this location. Have had friendly help from the cashiers and the baggers. Along with other staff too.Have been shopping at this location for over 4 years. Love the rewards program.Wr have saved money on our groceries.

They have a great produce section, and the customer service is good. The prices are a little bit higher than some of their competitors, but I shop there regularly.

Great grocery. We'll lighted and wide isles. Bakery is great and meat is fresh. I have found items that aren't in other stores.

I was very impressed by a few things about this store. First of all the service is outstanding. Staff members went out of their way serval times to help me find things I was looking for. Second, the variety of products offered is very impressive. We have several family members with various dietary needs and the store has it all. I was particularly impressed by the variety of dairy free items. Finally, the produce was uniformly high quality and fresh.Rounding out the list of reasons I like this place are the conveniences like the in-store Starbucks and the accessible location.

I went in today 11-26-2023. I went to the end cap where you have fruit and vegetables packages. There was no pricing displayed of the shelves. A worker came over scanning one of the packages and I asked her what the price was on one of the fruit trays her comment was if you pick up the package the price is on it. Her tone was not a pleasant one, so I just left it there. I have never had that experience there before.

Bumping review down as the Salvation Army bells are ringing nonstop. Additional lowering cause the quality of products are drppping but prices are higher.

Good value on food better than their closest competitor. The store location is very old with an outdated interior. A refresh would help to keep up with the rest of the shopping center

I think I spied the manager stocking shelves! The place is spruced up from the FTC format. Starbucks got moved around. Signage and fixtures upgraded. Ask about the YES card.

I rated 3 in reference to the bakery section. I picked up 4 dozens donuts for my churc and the majority of the donuts that had chocolate icing on it were stacked together which should have been setup flat on the box. Very disappointing!

Being a tourist, I don't know prices around here, but it seemed expensive. Didn't have a lot of choices in items. Employees were Very nice though.

We don't live in Rapid City but came with my daughter to set up girl scout cookies booths. It was a colder windy day and we had already spent half the day out in the cold. Most places wouldn't allow my daughter to set up her booth inside except for this grocery store here! Not only did they allow her to set up her cookie booth inside, they actually helped her set it up! I was in awe of the kindness we received! Offered their chairs & even a fresh fruit if she wanted! Telling her "we want to see you succeed!" Just Wow! All I could think was now this is a store I would make the drive to shop at! Thank you so much to those amazing employees & manager for giving my daughter such an amazing experience and for supporting her!

Gotta to change a 5 to a 1!!!How can you be that expensive, not stocked up and the rudest checker in a self check!!! Asked for a discount card, and she was off!! Back to safeway and Walmart. I am not gonna pay to see your attitude. So I left the cart and all.Clean and well stocked. Not cheap.

I just moved to Rapid and was trying to find a grocery store. I want impressed with Safeway and a coworker told me about Family Fare. I went and fell in love. The store was so organized and the produce area was very pleasing. I went to check out and the cashier was so incredibly nice! She gave me a discount and then set me up with my own loyalty card and welcomed me to Rapid. Such a wonderful experience and I'm happy that I've found a great place to shop!

My family and I came to Family Fare after church on Sunday for some groceries. The young lady who was checking us out was literally throwing our stuff around, had a stand offish attitude, like our shopping was an inconvenience to her.Today(Friday) I went back without the family to grab some more quick groceries. The lady running the line I was checking out at, said the line over was open. I look over and to my surprise who do you this was running that open line??? I politely declined switching lanes, as I really didn’t want a repeat of my Sunday experience.Grace, if you are seeing this and I really hope you do…..you have got to do better. Your job is literally 100% customer service and quite frankly the friendly customer interaction is lacking.

This is the best grocery shop in town. They cost a little extra money, but it's worth it for the experience. Their rewards program is a bit interesting. They send some cool coupons in the mail for things you commonly buy. This last weekend, we received a coupon for 12 dollars off a purchase of $80 or more. Additionally, there was a coupon for 20% off their store branded items. I would recommend them over Safeway and Walmart. When I say it's a better shopping experience, what I mean is that the place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the products are higher quality.Update - I took a star off after trying out their fast lane service. The fast lane service deserves 1 star to be perfectly honest. They charge for it, it’s late, the pickup window is very short. The fast lane service at Safeway is much better. If I had to go into a shop, I would still rather go into this one.

Shopped there for the first time. This may seem petty but I need to use the bathroom and they are cleaning. They couldn't even make one stall available. Said it's really soiled and the spray cleaner has to sit for 5 minutes!!! I have and hours drive home and don't want to search all over town for another bathroom!!! Safeway next time!!!

Bought cold fried chicken, really crisco tasting and dry. The premade salads in the deli and in the refrigerator were old and gross. Will not buy produce from here again.

I had never been to this store before and I was amazed at how big and very clean it is! A lot of variety and good prices with very friendly staff! Will shop here again
