Bunch of people in line, only one cashier and for some stupid reason the self checkout is closed. Plus there’s hardly any cell service inside and the Wi-Fi they provide doesn’t even work half the time. Horrible management.

The ladies that work there are so nice. Very relaxed and do not rush. But the store is so crowded full of stuff that it was uncomfortable to browse. I went in and got a box of cocoa packets and a $3 box of cereal and that's about all I could take. Convenience is the key here. This is the only place to get those little things like ice or bread without driving 10 minutes. So glad it is there. They have everything from what I could see. From ice cream to legos. The prices are higher than Wally world but better than a convenience store. I gave three stars but it seems messy and unorganized. Maybe it's just so well stocked that they can't get it all away, but I had to get out quick it was not a comfortable place. But nice cashiers make up for it.

The store is generally well kept the staff could be better at times as a local store in a pinch I may go there for the occasional gallon of milk.. that is if it isn't frozen like it is sometimes.. but general not picking aside it isn't a bad place to be just definitely not my first pick

There was a kid working at the cash register. He was extremely rude to me. I went there very sick and was grabbing some cold and flu. I tried to have one nice interaction with a stranger and your employee was not going to let me. I tried small talking to him; a simple interaction between two human beings that makes the day slightly better, especially when you have the flu. This kid totally just ignores me and didn't even reply back. I work in hospitality, I speak loud and proud so I know he heard me. He just chose to rub his bad day off on everyone else. It was a very unpleasant interaction to be met with indifference when you try your best to be friendly even when you feel terrible.Kid, everyone has bad days, months, and years. (I mean I had the flu dude!) Treat others how you would like to be treated that's a least a start on a better life. Just my two cents on it.If management could have a chat with this guy I would appreciate it. He was on shift at 4:30 PM on 2/29/20.

I dropped off a FedEx package here for their onsite service. I had them do an acceptance scan on it. 4 days later the tracking hadn't updated and I could not get them to answer the phone. So I had to go all the way back there and nobody was minding the checkout counter. I had to find my package myself behind the counter and take it to a different location to get it sent off. Would not recommend this place.

I was at dollar general this afternoon. The young man that waited on me, never even acknowledged me. Which too me is very bad customer service. The store was a mess, clothes and hangers all through the isles. I love going too the dollar general on Longview, because it is more convenient for me. I’ve always had been treated nicely there, but not this time.

Good selection of merchandise for just about anything. Also very convenient when you don't want to deal with going to the big box stores and fighting the crowds or parking.The night workers are super helpful if you are trying to find something and not sure where to look for it.

I was scanning items with the DG app at the Dollar General is Box Elder, SD, and the lady that was stocking items, came across me as very rude and obnoxious; it was as if she didn't want anyone finding anything that might be $0.01, or even on sale that might not be marked yet. I do like the cashier though, she was very pleasant and because of her, I will be returning to the store in hopes of finding more awesome items on sale or not.

I always shop at dollar General but I have noticed the last month that this store is Very short handed today the young manager was the Only person in the store. I felt sorry for him and angry at dollar store for how the store looked. Your prices are good But you do Not seem to keep employees at that store. Improve it or I will go back to Wal-Mart.

Starting with the positives, this place has all the essentials plus a ton of random stuff you never knew you wanted or needed for very reasonable prices. The downside is when they're busy, the checkout lines get very congested and it can take forever to get out. There's only one counter but occasionally 2 lines open from the one counter so it gets packed at that counter.

Always out of stock, aisle are always filled with stocking items, their icecream has always been melted and it is amazing how slow it is to check out even ehen they are not busy. It would really be very convenient if it wasnt sooooooo mismanaged.

They are always out of things. Store is a mess and usually only has 1 to 2 cashiers..most of the cashiers are super rude and very like turtle crazy slow. Dont go there if you're in a hurry...hard to walk down the isles cause of the carts in the way for stocking. How are you suppose to get things on the floor if you only have a few people working? Ridiculous do NOT reccomend

A good place to go when you need something small like a razor or deodorant. Not cool they close at 10pm and some nights earlier. Should stay open until midnight! At least the one on the way to the airport.

This store was good when it opened, but it's trash now. They don't clean, and it takes 45 minutes to get checked out. It doesn't matter how many people are in line, they won't open a 2nd checkout.

usually if one dollar general is out of stock the other ones have it.. but this store seems to stay somewhat stocked. in a decent location. however it isnt always cheaper. unless u go for the coupons. even then some of their sale items are always out of stock.otherwise a good pit stop.

The prices are great, when the shelves are stockedThis is the 4th day I've been in the store and the same pallet of unstocked merchandise has been in the middle of the isle.There is freight all over the place, and the shelves are empty.I found what I needed and headed to the register. 15 minutes and I'm finally next. The cashier closed her register and says you have to wait in the other line now, I'm closed.I'm not going to wait another 15 minutes to save $3. I'll go to Walmart.

Often have to wait for a cashier. Long lines often from only one cashier when they need two. The place is dirty. Parking lot is dirty, sidewalk dirty, entryway a mess, store a disaster. A delivery lady has to come back cuz there's only one person working. Definitely poor mngmt.

This place is convenient and is decent priced but most of the time there is only 1 cashier and always a line, so it's not very fast. But haven't had a bad experience there other than the wait and certain staff make the wait enjoyable because they converse with everyone.

Hire more staff. I came to this location a few separate times (once every other month) everytime there's a huge wait to check out. The one cashier seemed stressed with the amount of people waiting but was still friendly.

I bought five food items from this store, four of the five were past expiration. One by 3 months, the two bags of candy I purchase had an expiration date of 1/10/2013. I’m not even kidding you. I will never buy anything from there again…. EVER

These places are alright. Stuff is very inexpensive for sure. The bathroom though - was very dirty and multiple isles in the store had stuff on the floor, disorganized and spread all over.

There's always carts of new merch on the floor so good luck making your way through the store and unless a 3rd party stocks it good luck with it actually being stocked.

The outside of this store is always disgusting!! Tons of trash and cigarette butta all over. A good place to swing into if you need something small. Staff is usually friendly.

I did some shopping here on Aug 1. They had help stocking at least 4 plus the cashier, "that i saw" when i paid for my Items i also bought a 20 pound of ice. The cashier said it would be a min for him to unlock the ice box. 8 coustomers and ten minutes later i again stood in line. When it was my turn i ask for my ice.. the cashier said he was busy.. i told him he had help have someone else unlock the ice box.. he got very unset but did so. Moral of the story is, Dont buy ice from Doller General. Poor survice bad attitude.

Understaffed and they block cell use. If u forget something on your list, don't bother trying to call home. Good deals but stock is constantly changing.

Frequently out of items, absolutely always understaffed, never see the same employees more than twice. Management obviously needs some work, I doubt it's a great environment to work in.

I went today and you can tell the older unhappy woman(not lady far from it) dislike me she was sizing me up with ugly faces and when I go through she doesn't greet me like she does other patrons. Has to be the color of my skin because she doesn't even know me personally 😂
