We had to take our pup in on Easter morning after discovering she had eaten an entire large chocolate bunny. They gave us quick, fast care. They were very upfront about price and how much things would be, and everyone who I interacted with was kind. I’m grateful to know we have a great emergency care plan on the hours our normal vet isn’t available.

Didn’t have appt and was able to get my little man’s glands dealt with. Front desk is always very accommodating! These people seem to really like their jobs and co workers and it shows in their customer service! Which is A+! Now my baby can watch his football in comfort!

I took my dog, Moose, to get groomed with Amber. It was his first time there and he was a little nervous. She did such an amazing job not only with his grooming, but also being patient with him. When I came to pick him up, he looked so handsome and happy. Amber, thank you for being wonderful.

I’ve experienced nothing but the best care at Animal Clinic of Rapid City, for our dog child. She’s got a significant health history and they’ve been wonderful with caring for Harley. This morning I had to let go of my precious cat, Amber. The doctors and many staff at the clinic were phenomenal as they were supportive and empathetic the last 4 months for Amber and me. I’m deaf and they were very patient with me which is truly appreciative.

Went in for an emergency visit the day after a blizzard. They had one Doc and were super low manned but still saw my dog quick and got me out of there without trying to do unnecessary scans. Presented me all my options. Our puppy is back to full health.

Exceptional care and compassion. Our little pup was hit by a car and thankfully survived due to the diligence and work of them. Price was a little high, but as we used an emergency vet on a Sunday and she was there for 24 hrs I completely expected it. 100% worth it and recommend!

One of our young cats had something wrong with her eye that rapidly progressed to concern of infection or possible loss of her eye. No one was open locally as it was Easter Sunday but they were. We drove over 2hrs in the snow to get help for our cat. They were very courteous and understanding...quick but efficient. When it was time to check out and pay our bill for emergency services...it was over half less than any of our local vets would charge for not only an unscheduled appointment but medication. Definitely will keep them in our minds for future treatment needs

The staff & vet here have been so great! Moved to the area about a year ago with my first dog & got a second pup a few months ago & have brought both dogs here many times. They are always so friendly, helpful, clean, & reasonable! They do a great job of listening to my concerns & I have never once felt that my dogs health wasn’t put first. The vet and all of the staff are all super knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This is the best, most caring and competent veterinary clinic. I cannot say enough about how wonderful their care is, whether its a well-pet visit or an emergency for a very sick fur baby. Animal Clinic of Rapid City will be the only place locally that I go to. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a wonderful job at handling an anxious pup. They were calm, smart, and efficient. This was the easiest vet experience I have ever had. Also, they were very accommodating. I had some plans change suddenly and needed help ASAP. They did everything they could to fit my dog into their schedule. This place is great!!

My beagle got into some poison. I immediately called and they had me bring her right in. Once we got there and they knew why we were there, the immediately took her back and started treatment. Throughout, they were kind and reassuring. I really appreciate the doctor and staff there. My pup is on the mend thanks to their quick actions.

It was good the Dr. Was nice did not order a ton of test like last time. He was aware my dog was older just needed to be made comfortable. Dog is feeling better was nice they were available on weekends.

My dog was in labor and had complications. We wound up at the Vet ER at 2:30 on a Saturday morning. Dr. Shock treated us with compassion and concern. Unfortunately, we had a tragic outcome and lost my momma dog. I feel confident that the staff did all they could to save her and in the midst of the awful reality; they showed great empathy. Because of their quick action and intervention; we have eight beautiful & healthy puppies. No provider can always fix things when they've gone bad, but having the action, intervention & care we experienced was top notch. Because of our care that night, we are switching to this clinic for all of our care.

My dog recently became very sick on Christmas and overnight. I called the Animal Clinic of Rapid City. They told me that I could come in right away for an emergency visit or wait till 7 and try to get an urgent visit. They were very clear the cost of each option which I found helpful.The practice got us right back when we got there at 7. The staff treated my dog with care and kindness, despite this not being our normal vet practice. They were clear with the costs of each service. The diagnosis and meds given to my dog have made a huge difference. Thank you to the staff!The only challenging part of my visit was that I had come right after a snow storm. The practice had a nicely cleared parking lot, but there was lot of salt on the parking lot. My dogs paws froze 5 seconds after I got out of the car. Seems like regular salt on a vet parking is a poor decision.

I have 5 cats and 5 dogs. I’ve also had my mother bring her animals into this clinic. We have spent thousands here. I’ve recently gone thru a divorce and was completely disgusted by the lack of professionalism by the staff here. Jessie, “client services representative” went out of her way to make a comment about our situation. While my ex was at the clinic she made a comment along the lines of “no wonder you’re breaking up… you guys would never survive with 10 animals.” Our situation is literally destroying us as people and to have to listen to a comment like that truly makes me sick. I know this woman used to work with dr falcon and she was terrible and rude there too. She is unpleasant and unprofessional and I will never take an animal there again. You have lost an extremely loyal and loving client because you hire rude little people. Jessie needs to fired. Her trashy attitude would be better at the dump in the garbage.

My dog was shaking nervous to be at the vet, and they got to us super quick and even set it up so that I could check out while she was getting her test done so she didn’t have to be there any longer than absolutely necessary. Everyone there that I’ve interacted with has been super kinda and helpful, and they are easy to get an appointment with!

My dog injured herself on a hike today. As soon as I had cell service I called my vet. Out for the day. Was referred to the Animal Clinic for their emergency services. I called ahead and they were ready for us. Their intake paperwork was minimal, thankfully. I hate paperwork normally, but in an emergency it is even worse. Wait times weren't bad considering they have their regular appointments to deal.with, and we were in for the exam and treatment quickly. Staff was warm, friendly, and got right to the point. All told, the bill was half what I was anticipating and a fraction of what my co-pay was for my own trip to the ER earlier thus year! Pity they don't work on hooman animals.

We had to take one of our dogs to an emergency vet. Our regular vet was closed the week after Christmas. The process was smooth and we were all treated kindly from the first phone call with the vet tech to when we left. Our dog was examined and treated, the vet was great-was so nice to our scared dog and spent a lot of time talking with us. What he suspected did turn out to be the problem. The price was reasonable. We would recommend this clinic for regular and emergency care. Thank you for takinh care of our sick girl.
