Serious water issues!I stayed here for 3 nights. The first two nights I had no hot water at all. The final night I had hot water, but the water was contaminated and brown. The front desk staff didn't even alert the guests; the least they could have done is warn them not to drink the water.Someone from the staff knocked on my door in the morning and asked if I was planning on checking out. Check out is at 11AM.This was 10:30 Pierre time; however this hotel is located in Mountain Time. So essentially they try to force you out an hour early. I'm in Pierre yearly for the legislative session and will NEVER stay here again, I will also actively discourage my coworkers from staying here.Safety: Unsafe water

My mother-in-law was traveling with some other older ladies and had terrible car trouble. Someone stopped to helped and pointed them to My Place where the staff were incredibly kind and generous even though they were just passing through and not staying. She was so relieved for the kindness and cried telling me about it. Kindness matters!

Rooms were very spacious very clean and tidy. Sheets and linens were all very white no stains bed was made to perfection! Had a very comfortable stay with a very comfortable bed. Staff was amazing making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Location was close to gas and food and the hotel also had a small store just in case! Definitely would stay again.

The front desk lady was amazing got us in the rooms and it's way better than the two other hotels we stayed at. 5 stars rooms go quick please book soon as possible if visiting Fort Pierre .MY PLACE is the place to stay.Nearby activities: Work site.

This hotel is by far one of the best for the average cost in Pierre/Ft Pierre area. It was clean, quiet, and homey. I enjoyed that I had a full kitchen to be able to store food, and cook if I didn't want to eat out each night during my stay. However, you will need to bring your own plates, dishes, silverware. The staff were friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay and won't stay anywhere else in Pierre. My Place is my home away from home.

What a disaster! Booked one room over the phone and was charged for 3, one in which they said was online. Never booked online. Checked in and they said some other woman had checked in under my name. Don't even know the lady. Some nice woman was filling in for her friend, the manager. Told me to check my bank and make sure I wasn't charged for 2 rooms when i checked our. I was, but instead of 2 rooms, I was charged for 3. Manager not available. Front desk woman was terrible and hung up on me. Now nobody will answer the phone.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Not much for amenities but if you need a simple place to stay this is a solid option. The cleaner or air freshener they use has a very masculine odor and the room had manly decor too. Didn't bother me really but just an observation. The bathroom sink is kind of tall and the lighting could be better for how far away you need to stand to do things like makeup.

It's very clean and the beds/sheets are very comfortable. The staff is friendly. The kitchenette is a no go, as the drains are slow and there are NO dishes or cooking tools. Empty cabinets. I enjoy having my own food when I travel for work, but won't be staying here.

I checked in later in the evening - around 11pm. The host was waiting near the front desk and was prompt in giving me the room key. The building is very new and clean, as are the rooms. Although close to the highway the noise was negligible. The room was large, clean and common amenities were provided (fridge, coffee, television). Overall, a pleasant experience and I would return in future.

Very clean and basic hotel. A step down from the Candlewood Suites. I wish their website would tell you that they don't offer cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. Also no dishwasher. They do provide dish soap, paper towels, a dish cloth & towel, microwave and fridge. I only stayed here because they offer a fridge and I needed to freeze some things. Having a table and chairs in the room is helpful.

I am giving this Hotel a 3 star because its clean and affordable. However it would have scored a 5 star in my book if it wasn't for the GM. I had to leave early on the following morning after my stay and the front counter was closed with a sign " Call me for assistance I am staying on the property and will assist you when needed outside of usual hours" So I called the number posted and told her that I was checking out a day early do to work arrangements and needed my receipt for record purposes. She was very rude from that point on. This happened at 7:15 in the morning!! I work for the railroad and word spreads! I wont be back! One more thing to add that I have stayed here in the past and I believe that it was under a different GM at the time who was great but this current GM needs training. Today is November 16th 2020 and I am back in the area. I will still not stay here because of my last experience.

I have no complaints. The rooms are clean. You get a full size refrigerator with an ice maker, dish sink and a two burner stove. Paper towels are provided but no utensils are provided. A comfortable lounge chair and a flat screen with two extra HDMI ports. Rooms are clean but the hotel is brand new.

This place was very comfortable. The service was excellent. The room was spotless and came with stove, fridge, microwave, dishes etc. The bed was more comfortable than most hotel beds I've been in. The location was really quiet. I hope all the My Place hotels are held to this standard.

I am staying here for work. Home away from home. The room is very comfortable. The kitchen area works well. I went and bought a frying pan and other supplies to cook with in my room. The hotel is close to everything in town. The staff is excellent. From those at the front desk to house keeping.

I would just like to say that the staff (Michelle and Nicole) were just amazingly awesome. I got my reservation and set out to Fort Pierre sd. Along the way i was rerouted twice and called my place to inform them of my situation, mind you when i departed from my destination, i was looking at a 6 and a half hour drive,which would've got me to the hotel around 8: 30 pm ,but after the rerouting i didn't get to the hotel until 12:15 maybe 12:30ish , but the whole drive i kept in contact with Michelle and Nicole they made my arrival effortless and pleasant after the ordeal i had just went through. They were courteous and pleasant to talk to, and made me feel like i just arrived at home. So a BIG thank you to the both of them. SAFETY SAM!!

The customer service was off the chain. Thank you to the manager and the girls behind the counter. The bed was comfortable the room was clean. The only down fall no free breakfast. I would recommend this place.

I stayed at My Place Fort Pierre location for a little over a month duration. My room was cleaned and towels replaced a total of 4 times during my stay despite following the hotels policy of not leaving personal items on the beds or thrown about. More than once I received double charges on my debit card which was not easy to alleviate due to untrained staff not being able to use their computer. For $525 a week this place does not offer much. I’d recommend staying at a hotel within Pierre itself that offers a much better rate and quality service.

TV had no Signal call Trent Deas two ladies came down find out my room trying to fix a TV wouldn’t even come on so she said well it takes only a few seconds, while leaving the room I stayed we should get a refund for this as we paid $143 and some odd cents for the night and it was 8 o’clock already we would like yo relax! She said I will not give you a discount, goes you will not get a discount so we’re waiting they left the room about five minutes later and a gentleman comes by and try to fix it so he hanging out in my room for a good 10 minutes and we get this 1 channel to work couldn’t change the channel we said that’s fine we need to get some rest we pay for a motel room for the staff to hang out we will never and I repeat never stay there again!!

This place being new is very Home like. Great care great beds great rooms good attendance but I rate it 4 stars because of there WiFi. There speed is limited to less then 2mps and as a business man that has to patch into Home base isn’t a fast speed for me to work out of hotel. I have to find a faster place to do this and as an extended stay hotel with not that many rooms shouldn’t have a limit the way they do. All in all 4 stars.

Not a fan!The clerk and his buddies were smoking outside the front door when we arrived and when we went back to the desk.The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned, both beds had been slept in and the sheets and covers were torn back.The second room we were sent to, in which we stayed, had urine around the toilet base where it meets with the floor.

Would not recommend to anyone coming to fort pierre. For the price you pay you dont get much. They would charge my card for random amounts after I payed for the week. Room was not cleaned every 4 days like promised, when it was finally cleaned it was very poor. Front desk people were not trained properly. Would not stay again, plenty other hotels that are cheaper with better service.

The room was great. Bathroom was very nice size, the bed was one of the best beds I have slept on in a hotel and I stay in many hotels. The staff was great. Thanks for an AWESOME stay.
